From the moment we entered Dr Doft's office both my daughter and I felt at ease. Dr Doft was saying goodbye to a pediatric patient who had ear surgery, he hugged her and the little boy's parents were beaming. It was clear that there was excellent rapport. The office was spotless, discrete, and the receptionist was lovely. Dr Doft was on time. My daughter is a teenager; she came for repair of a botched ear piercing and we both knew Dr Doft could easily handle her situation. Dr Doft took the time to focus on my daughter. She did not focus on the the egregious self promotion of many NYC plastic surgeons. Dr Doft remembers that she is a doctor, not a movie star. He hand is steady and her work is perfection. After she repaired my daughter's ears, she attended to my needs: (1)delicate lip plumping--I wanted natural, not ducky or simply putting on glossy lotions (2) slider vein injection of my legs (3) consult for eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) she does it in her office. I have no doubt that Dr. Doft is the best Plastic Surgeon in NYC. I got a breast reduction done by her after meeting with several PSs for months before. Meeting Dr. Doft was such a gift. I recommend anyone in NYC needing a breast reduction (or rhinoplasty/other plastic surgery) to go to her. Portfolio: her portfolio of breast reductions were absolutely beautiful! I saw several other PS's portfolios and didn't get particularly excited. I needed the breast reduction for pain reasons, but I was just going to accept "okay" looking breasts after seeing the other PS's portfolios. This mindset changed once I saw Dr. Doft's portfolio. She makes your breasts look SO beautiful. As a young woman, I actually got excited about getting the surgery, rather than simply feeling like I have to get it done for pain reasons. I can only imagine that her other work is just as beautiful. If I ever get around to future plastic surgery, I plan to fly to NYC just to be treated by her. She is THAT good. As an added bonus, she is such a respectful, thoughtful person that she doesn't post her photos on the internet. You must go in to protect the privacy of her patients. If you are looking to get Botox or lip fillers from Dr. Doft, word to the wise stay away. I went to her with the intention of getting a little refresher, and what I ended up with was droopy eyelids and swelling under my lower lids from the botox. If I raise my upper lids they now move up in a slant making it difficult to even apply eye shadow. My upper lids now appear like an accordion with deep creases. She injected my crows feet which I did not request, and now I have under eye edema. I've had Botox before and this never happened. I had to wear sunglasses to hide my eyes, at my daughter's graduation. I feel very depressed, and I am hoping that this wears off soon. She also injected my upper lips with fillers, and there is hardly any noticeable change with my lips. She apparently also put fillers in my jowls that I had not requested, I only found out after calling her to tell her about these nodules I had felt in my chin area, apparently the fillers migrated to the chin area and created nodules. She told me to massage them, and assured me they would go away. She wanted me to schedule a return visit, but I lost my confidence in her and I'd rather not let her touch my face, for fear she might make it worse. It's been over 5 weeks, and I still have the nodules. Dr. Doft's is very over priced for the crappy work she does. She may be a good surgeon, but as an injector her skills are very much lacking. She should stick to operating and hire a better qualified injector. read more

My son was born with one slightly misshapen ear. I feared this would be something that may bother him years down the line so I searched for a solution. I was lucky to find Dr. Doft who was able to correct it with a non surgical mold which re shaped the cartilidge. The process was completely painless and reshaped his ear in two weeks. I don't even think he noticed the mold (which was also covered by insurance). Dr. Doft was extremely patient and helpful in explaining the process. After visiting many plastic surgeons in my area (Hudson Valley NY) I decided to widen my search and that's when I stumbled upon Dr. Doft. Her office is about a 1.5 hour drive from my home so I was hesitant to consider someone that far since I knew I would have to be back and forth for follow-ups. But I can say it was the BEST decision I could have made. Dr. Doft performed my breast reduction on Jan 18th 2017. 5 months later, I am all healed and couldn't be more excited to get into a bathing suit! I had slight complications after the surgery, where a concerning freckle appeared on the scar about a month after surgery. Dr. Doft performed a biopsy and sent it away for testing. At first it came back abnormal so Dr. Doft removed more skin from the area and sent it away again. Results came back normal. I was impressed that Dr. Doft could perform everything right there in her beautiful office. I made about 7 visits total. Each time she was warm, friendly, inviting and took me right in. Michelle (the receptionist) was also very welcoming, had great communication in person and over the phone and helped me to schedule appointments convenient for me since traveling in/out of the city is a nightmare at certain times. I would highly recommend Dr. Doft to anyone considering any type of plastic surgery. Dr. Doft was a nice woman but i unfortunately will not be returning to her office ever again. The service i was seen for was lip fillers. With this being my first time having any kind of cosmetic procedure, i was nervous and had a lot of questions... especially since we are talking about my face. She seemed short with me and the furthest thing from comforting. She put the numbing cream on my lips and left the room and came back 10 minutes later, which would be fine if i didn't know she stayed with my friend (who also had a procedure done) answering all of her questions and talking to her throughout that time.. so i expected the same. While explaining my experience to the same friend who's seen her she shared that she was taken into a separate room to have before and after pictures taken, another thing that was NOT done for me. After the injections Dr. Doft informed me that there was "just a little" left and that maybe she should add more to my bottom lip which i agreed with. After the bottom lip there was still "a little" left so we added more to the top lip. After the top lip there was still "a little" left that we agreed to add to the corners of my bottom lip. Being that she is the doctor and this was my first time, i trusted her opinion. After sharing my story with numerous doctors in the same field as Dr. Doft i was told by several of them that there is a very good chance this was done to avoid her having to store the remainder of whats left in the syringe and avoid blocking out time to see me at a future date. At the end of the procedure when i was walked out to pay, at THIS time i was asked to sign the consent form because it her front desk staff "forgot" to give it to me before. $650 later i left feeling uneasy and immediately regretting letting her touch my lips. As Dr. Doft informed me, my lips had hard ball like clumps days following the procedure which i was told to massage out and they should disappear, Dr Doft offered to have my come back for her to take a look but i would never go back to there due to the way she made me feel so unwelcome so here i am almost 5 months later and still have these ugly bumps along with an UNEVEN SMILE. Ive visited other offices to have them try to massage the bumps out and no luck at all. I absolutely regret going here and don't suggest ANYONE go here to have this procedure done unless you want to leave hating your lips more then you did before. Being only 21 i would have loved to love my lips and my experience so i could have a doctor to see when my lips need touchup throughout my life and unfortunately that is not the case with Dr. Doft whatso ever. After calling both, I got an incredible vibe over the telephone speaking with the office manager, Michelle. She was beyond sweet and accommodating that I knew just based off of Dr. Doft's reviews elsewhere, her credentials and the way her staff conducted themselves this was the doctor for me. Well let me tell you, I made the BEST decision of my life by entering Dr. Dofts beautiful office for a mole removal on my face, something very serious as this was something I and everyone else sees on a day-to-day basis. Dr. Doft came out of her office and personally brought me into her surgical room. She made me feel at ease, calm, and had the best bedside manners ever. Dr. Doft spent way more time than she ever needed to with me. She didn't make me feel rushed at all, answered all of my questions and then some! And she even gave me a personal tour of her office. Dr. Doft takes conservative measures, which is what I love about her.
