Folks don't seem to be buying overpriced studios and one bedroom high rises overlooking a parking lot. Too many speed bumps. Seems doomed.

The Clove is now home to Guzman Y Gomez, Chick-fil-A, Giordano's, and Sushi Grove, among other restaurants and businesses. They have also added residential housing apartments and a parking garage. There is a Bowlero bowling alley just to the north, that is not technically part of the property. My husband and I frequent Sushi Grove. It has great food and is a great place to take friends or go for a date night. I can't wait to see what is added to The Clove as they continue the rennovations and more stores open.

No burger joint. And every escalator was not operational when I visited. The only reason I was there, was to donate blood. The AMC is still around, but the whole place looks like a zombie apocalypse. I have not been to Deerfield Square for some time. Today, I stopped by the Walgreens that is one of…read morethe anchors of this mall. I have noticed that even though this square has been reconstructed since 2000 from "Deerfield Commons", it appears to be pretty new and modern, with many upscale shops and boutiques, and a bunch of nice restaurants. In a hot summer day, the beautiful outdoor area of the square looks very attractive. I am only familiar with Walgreens, Sephora, and Fresh Foods in the mall, but the restaurants here seem to be pretty appealing too. From their directory online, there are Café Zupas, Egg Harbor Cafe, Il-Forno Pizza & Pasta, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Rosebud, Scoops & Cookies, Tlacoyo Mexican Grill, and Whole Foods Market. The various restaurants and eateries would definitely fit different budgets and appetites. I will return with my family to explore this beautiful shopping mall further.

The only reason I'm giving it three stars frankly is because even in the last almost 20 years I believe that they've been open unfortunately there's been a lot of turnover when it comes to the restaurants. I'm not sure if this is simply due to high rent, but there's really nothing that the Glen or its Landlord are doing in order to provide any real stability and it's rather unfortunate. Also, since this place was built, the parking situation has always been a challenge and it continues to be. In fact, it just gets worse with all these special parking places and reserve spaces that continue on the main strip. I do hope that things get better, but with the way that it has been structured and built there really is no opportunity for expansion whether being retail and restaurant space or even for parking I will say it's been great to see the movie theater Von Maur as an example of two establishments that have been here I believed the entire time this place has been open Similar to a lot of other moles, there's a lot of empty spaces and vacancies and it's very sad especially when it's surrounded by million dollar homes in a suburb of additional multimillion dollar homes

The massive area was previously the site of the Glenview Naval Air Station and this shopping center is the heart of the huge Glen residential community as well. There are numerous shops and restaurants here and it's always a pleasant experience to visit. Like Fashion Outlets in Rosemont, every time we visit there is something new here. One business or another has left and another has stepped in. The rent must be high here, and if you don't continually draw the requisite traffic, you won't survive. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go. Remember Ted's Montana Grill? - it was a favorite of ours and also one of the first to disappointingly close in our earlier years, and that's now The Oak at the Glen, and in a prime location. Some of our favorite and long standing and still standing businesses here are Von Maur, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the Yard House. I could probably name another 20 shops or restaurants we liked or tried here, but that have all since closed. Jibek Jolu is a relatively recent addition that we like for what that's worth. We were going to try Dee's Place (soul food) one day, but dang, they closed before we even got to it, and that was a big investment in a large space for that restauranteur, and too bad. It can get busy and crowded, but nicely there is alway parking to be found in one of their parking lots. Oh well, business is tough here for the tenants, but for us consumers, this is a great upscale town center.

We had a good dinner at City Barbeque and were able to get groceries quickly at Jewel-Osco. I recommend both of these businesses. Other stores at Deerbrook Mall included Starbucks, Subway, Hobby Lobby, and Brunswick Zone. I highly recommend Deerbrook Mall and will return in the future.

I've decided to do a review in Plaza Del Lago because I recently went over there to see all of the…read morenewly renovated areas as well as the new tenants and stores that are here. I remember this place from my childhood from over 35 years ago and nothing has really changed. Meaning there is no additional parking there is no additional space. There is no additional signage in the parking lot to tell you that something is one way. So fantastic that all these stores are here and especially all these high-end stores, but there is no place to park and we all know damn well that all these North Shore women, although they all are within walking distance of these fantastic shops will not walk here and then carry their bags home. They would rather drive here. So not sure why there's an over abundance of tenants and again a lack of parking. Someone do something about the parking. And if you know anything about this area, you also know that if you go directly outside that you cannot park on the street you also cannot park on any of the residential roads as well. God forbid you put your random car in front of the multimillion dollar wilmette homes.

Wheeling Commons is a shopping center that I go to quite often. It has a lot of high quality stores…read moreand restaurants. The restaurants here represent and great variety and are all really good (Heaven's BBQ On Earth, Bella's, HD Cuisine, and Kopa Tea Bar). Visited here for the Tuesday night market and had a great time. There were a nice selection of…read morevendors who were friendly and presented lots of options of different foods and items to purchase at reasonable prices. Despite being pretty bustling, it never felt overly crowded to me and the live music playing was at a good volume to enjoy without it being difficult to hear my friends talking or distracting to talk to vendors. Parking was plentiful though it wasn't super obvious how the layout of the center is. Surrounding the night market are a great assortment of tenants which serve everything from coffee to pizza to Mexican to ice cream. Once inside the main town center area, I was pleased to be able to walk around to the different businesses without having to walk across traffic.
