I have a gluten allergy, so my husband and I ordered a couple gluten free pizzas to go a few nights ago. Mine also had the vegan cheese. While Mellow Mushroom's gluten free crust could be better, it's not the worst I've ever had. It's pretty close to Udi's. I appreciate that it is also egg free, because I also have an egg allergy. Pizza was okay. Service was poor. We ordered several pizzas, salads and pretzels. After a lengthy wait, our pizzas came out but still no appetizers. At this point, I'm irritated that we didn't get the salads or pretzels prior to our meal so I told the lady who brought the pizza (because our waiter was not the one to bring the pizzas) and I was told she'd get them, but at this point, the pretzels were useless so I rejected her offer to get them and asked for the salads. When I originally ordered the salads, I asked for 2 extra plates and they didn't bring them so that meant more waiting. A manager finally came over and said he'd come with the salads. While he was at the table, I showed him the lack of pepperoni on one of our pizzas, one slice had none, but he didn't seem to care or show any concern. My group ordered two pizzas and some pretzel bites. It came to $77.77, which ridiculous for the cost but that wasn't the main issue. The pizza was cold and a few people got sick that night. I'm not blaming the pizza but it wasn't what we have come to expect from MM. I overheard one of the workers say tell them it will be 45-60 minutes on any call. The other one said well it's done in about 15 minutes and the response was, it's just too crowded right now. If it is done in 15 minutes then let us know and don't wait so we have to get cold pizza. Never had mellow mushroom but I had a great experience. Staff was SUPER friendly! Ordered online, came in store to pick up and decided to order another small pizza. The gentleman behind the bar was super super accommodating and offered waters and made sure we were comfortable while waiting for our pizzas. I order this speciality mushroom pizza and a half Hawaiian half pepperoni pizza. Both cooked so well, the mushroom pizza was absolutely amazing. I could've eaten a large alone. read more

We were wanting a quick lunch and decided on Mellow Mushroom. I loved that this one was a counter service restaurant. They serve all of their most popular items so there is plenty to choose from. I ordered the House calzone while others ordered pizza and a Greek salad. Once we ordered, we grabbed our drinks and had a seat. They give you a buzzer to take with you so they can find you to bring out your food. I loved that vs the usual number ticket in a stand on your table. They never can seem to find you easily with numbers. The food was what you would expect from Mellow Mushroom. Delicious and rather huge portions. My calzone was cooked perfectly and full of toppings! My only reason for giving it 4 stars is the price. This was our most expensive meal the entire time we were visiting. It was also the only counter service we ate too. $50 for two calzones, a Greek salad and a Mighty Mac meal is hard to take. We all drank water to cut down on cost too. read more

This place is awesome! We stopped in a few times during our stay. The staff areso warm and welcoming. The food was always hot and fresh. The manager was there the last time we stopped in working the register. He was a great guy and had a wonderful attitude about his customers. The pizzas are full of tasty ingredients and loaded too! They don't just sprinkle a few pieces around like most places, they really want you to get the flavor in every bite. Our son loved eating here.
