In many ways, this is a pretty typical country diner and sandwich shop. My wife and youngest daughter had a fried chicken plate that they thought was quite good. My oldest daughter had a vegetable plate that that she thought was outstanding. I ordered a shrimp po'boy and knew the second she put it in front of me that it was a mistake. For reference, I grew up in Louisiana and know the difference. The breading on the shrimp was wrong, the bread was wrong, the sauce was wrong. There was just nothing redeeming about this sandwich. Downtown Gatlinburg gets insane and this place was so peaceful. They have a really extensive hot sauce bar which my husband loved. Came here while heading towards pigeon forge and wanted something not too heavy for lunch. Decided to get the Philly cheesesteak which honestly didn't come with anything except onions so I had to add more toppings to my liking. I just got the 6 inch and a fountain drink. One thing I didn't like was they were allowing people to keep coming in there with no seating . we literally had to wait for one of the workers to clean off the tables in the screen in patio that was pushed together.
