I found Mellow Tea Studio because they're located next to my nail spa. The first time I went in there, they told me they didn't offer any non-dairy options, which was a bummer. But my husband went back a little while later and they had finally jumped on the non-dairy train! Right now, they only have a couple non dairy (almond milk) options, which are tasty nonetheless (strawberry milk tea, mango milk tea, Oreo milk tea, and some others). But I'm hoping they'll add coconut milk and/or coconut cream to the mix. The optimal drink would be a non-dairy mango coconut option! read more

We have tried almost every boba tea house, nothing was like Mellow tea house! Until this place changed the owner over a month ago. The boba was (and still) hard, was not soft chewy as before. The Taro Yurgart flavor was way off!! I suggested that they should ground the Taro more smooth but it was still not good. Very disappointed! Lily (previous owner) made everything so good and tasty! After trying countless boba places I haven't found many just like this one, the strawberries taste so fresh and doesn't have that artificial taste a lot of boba places do. My boyfriend and I went to Mellow Tea Studio not so long ago craving boba. We looked at the menu, and I got a Taro Milk Tea with Boba and he a Matcha with Boba. The Matcha was great, but the Taro Milk Tea was HORRIBLE. I am assuming they use real Taro instead of a syrup or powder; but even then it didn't taste or look like Taro -- it didn't even have enough sugar. The consistency was disgusting that my boyfriend needed to spit it back out. I do not recommend, try Kung Fu Tea or more authentic boba shops. read more

Yummy!! I found my new boba spot! The Thai Boba Milk Tea is so good and creamy. The owner is very nice and she took time to explain that they do not use powder. They brew the the tea over the stove and use evaporated milk to add more creaminess. I will definitely be back. Someone from the older posts said that their boba was hard but I disagree. It was perfect when I tried it today. I ordered normal sweetness and normal ice and wouldn't change a thing. Supporting a small business that cares about quality is always a plus for me. read more

This is by far my favorite boba place out of the dozens I've tried. The authenticity is unmatched and they use fresh and ripe fruit in their drinks. You can tell that they strive to make the best drinks possible. The Golden Pineapple is my go-to. Also, the person harping on the Taro Milk Tea is probably not used to how real taro tastes. Yes, the drink consistency is different compared to powdered taro that most places use. Last week their cheesefoam had a sour burnt taste and the drink was not sweet even though its on the 100% sweetness level. Friendly workers and the store always smells nice.
