I like their signature milk tea and tiger brown sugar. The boba is especially good and chewy!

Very good Boba drink and a few interesting drink choices. The service was also good too. They also serve chicken there which looked tasty

If I could leave one star I would. Boba was not chewy at all, completely underdone. Complete waste of $8

Showed us the top ten drinks so we tried 1) Taro Frappe (1/2 sugar) & 2) Cookies & Cream. I really enjoyed the consistency and taste of taro frappe!! It tasted as though he used real taro!!! I also appreciated the paper cover as opposed to plastic. It's a nice sit down - with tables and cushions. Would like to return for a date or hangout - Buy 3 get 1 FREE deal!

We've gone here 2x, and both times the customer service just feels lackluster. The overall feel of the place is not inviting. They have a few seats, but it doesn't make you want to stay in and hang out. They're nice, I suppose, but this last time we went, my husband wanted to get the Brown Sugar Coffee w/boba and a creme brûlée top. However, the owner said that the Vietnamese coffee is more popular. My husband said, "Nah, I know what Vietnamese coffee tastes like, I want to try this." And the owner said insisted, 2 more times, that he should get the Vietnamese coffee instead, mentioning that he was the owner and wouldn't tell us to get something that wasn't good. By this point, we were completed turned off by the interaction and just decided to leave. We told him we changed our mind, and he kept trying to figure out what went wrong. It's great customer service to offer suggestions and share the most popular items, but when it turns into insistence, it makes us lose confidence in what you're selling. Why is it on the menu if you're going to insist on something different? Lastly, we saw all the different flavors of milk teas that they offer, and it appears they're just different syrups. It kind of made us feel like things weren't as fresh as some of the other shops we've been to, and with so many to choose from, why go to this one? We won't be back.

The Thai tea was nicely balanced and not overly sweet, and the Jasmine tea was fragrant, thick, and perfect at 50% sweetness. The matcha latte was the best drink here for me: earthy, not sweet at all, and with a subtle nuttiness that made it so satisfying. The only miss was the strawberry taro, which leaned too sweet for my taste. Overall, a beautifully designed shop with some truly great drinks.

That said, it's good enough for a place to go when you're on somewhat of a budget. The Dubai Chocolate Frappe was a semi-let down because the advertisement photo looked like it had a lot of chocolate. When I got my order, my first reaction was..."is that it?" The first several sips lacked the chocolate flavor I was anticipating but it was a fairly decent drink. It definitely would have been better with more chocolate as advertised. The Beef Teriyaki Bowl was a generous size; again, it was good enough. The TTEK-BOKKI (Korean Spicy Rice Cake) was extremely filling especially with cheese (which was a $3 up charge). Not sure I'd get this one again if I came back because the price point and the quality just didn't match. Parking is easy and free since it's in a complex with a now abandoned Rite-Aid. Even so, I'm not completely sure I'd come back since this place is small and the setup seems so cramped. It lacked the vibe I thought it would have based on social media posts. The staff could use a bit more energy and enthusiasm like other spots that offer similar items.

Happy Re-Grand Opening Presotea Torrance!…read more Today Presotea Torrance celebrated their re-grand opening. They're under new ownership and the owner is a South Bay local who really wants to promote the community. The celebration was a perfect way to celebrate community, good vibes and treats! It also happened to be National Boba Day! I got their Mango Cloud and also tried the Bubble Waffle with strawberries and bubble. I really enjoyed both. The Mango Cloud was refreshing. The topping of boba and lychee jelly were so soft and chewy. Equally as delightful was the bubble waffle. It was sweet and tasty. The good flavor was enhanced with the strawberries and boba. I'm happy I was able to join in today's re-grand opening celebration and hope to be back soon for more tasty boba treats!

Every time that I've been to this location, there seems to always be a small crowd waiting to get their order completed. Today was extremely bad as they were working on a 20 drink online order without addressing those that were in the store waiting for their single drink. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my order which is unacceptable. I don't necessarily blame the workers as they seem to be doing their best. Having just 2 employees working on fulfilling orders may not be the right number or the methodology of fulfilling drink orders may not be the most efficient. I caution those that come into this store that if you see more than 5 people waiting in the store, it may be a minimum 10 minute wait. In my case, it was 34 minutes.

They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with two swing chairs inside and Edison bulb string lights & blue sails over the tables outside. It was very clean, and the staff were super friendly. You can either order from a screen or directly with the cashier, which I recommend if it's your first time or if you have questions. They have a restroom for customers, and there is also free parking in the connected lot, and I appreciate that convenience. I asked if they have any drinks without syrups/sugar, and they recommended their iced tea. I went with the Four Season Iced Green Tea with no sugar & regular ice, and since it is a boba spot I added the Lychee Coconut Jellies. The jellies went perfectly with the iced green tea, and it was a balanced and refreshing beverage, with hints of rose and a delightful lychee flavor and even a similar lychee texture. I also enjoyed the quality of their plastic cups and selection of large colorful straws - you get to select your favorite color. It definitely caught our attention, and the menu had a lot of refreshing options. The lobby looks empty but they have a large seating area that was full so don't be fooled by my photo. We ordered the peach fruit tea and a matcha with boba. The matcha with boba was a delicious pick. The boba had a great texture and was probably the highlight for me. The peach fruit tea wasn't quite my thing. It came with A LOT of fruit bits (I'm pretty sure they were pears), which might be great if you enjoy that texture, but for me it made it hard to actually enjoy the drink. It was really lacking on the peach flavor but having to work around all the fruit took away from it. Overall, a decent stop if you're in the area and like fruit-forward drinks with real fruit pieces...just something to keep in mind depending on your preference.
