Our food was great as well. Zero complaints on what we ate that day. Orange juice was also very good. Even though it was busy, it wasn't loud and the crowds dispersed pretty quickly with how fast we were being served and it wasn't like we were rushed or anything.

Most of the wait staff was wearing very tattered clothing and the worst offender was the bus boy. Although he was working his tail off, he looked like he hadn't showed in several days and hadn't washed his clothes in a week. His bus tub was disgusting. As he was cleaning the table beside us, he put the tub in the table top and as I turned my head to look over I lost my appetite seeing the condition of the tub. To know that he put it on top of the table made me even more disgusted. Not only was he bussing tables but he was also taking plates of food to tables. I, personally, would not have accepted food from him because it's very unlikely he washed his hands after cleaning tables off. Our waiter was nice but he looked very sloppy. I realize I'm not at a white table cloth restaurant but at least make sure the serve staff looks presentable. We won't be back.

Sweet Hubs got another to go order from here a week or so ago. The order was someone else's order…read more Hubs is generally non picky and he enjoyed the meals received. I was surprised he liked hot sauce on his eggs, for example, and he said he did, which is great because one dish came with extra hot sauce. I reheated the grits the following day and they were actually good! That was the highlight of this take out meal for me. I thought the gravy in one of the dishes was sausage gravy, because doesn't everyone in the south add sausage to their gravy? But, it was just plain gravy. Boo! The eggs were pretty dead looking the next day (not their fault, I know), so I didn't try any of them. The bacon was undercooked for my preference but could have been easily remedied by popping in the air fryer. That was more effort than I wanted to expend on salvaging these dishes. Hubs is a biscuit fan and he was happy to devour whatever I did not, and again, he had no complaints which is excellent! I am not a biscuit fan at all, I just can't make myself like biscuit-forward dishes. I'm not even a fan of potatoes, which were in several of the dishes. They appeared to be prepared well, just did not appeal to me.

Came here a couple of weeks ago to have a quick lunch. Having also recently dined at Big Bad…read moreBreakfast, I'd say this place edges it out for me, though the experience was still more or less just okay. There's ample parking and the restaurant was clean, airy, and open. You order at the counter here. While their focus is biscuits, they have other offerings like waffles, hash bowls, and even tacos. The service was very friendly though my food was a little slow to come out. In their defense, I think some folks from the corporate office were there assessing the place and they ordered almost everything lol. I had the hash bowl with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese. I enjoyed the array of different goodies inside the bowl and the ingredients were balanced -- not too much of any particular item. The mushrooms were a little slimy and the eggs were a little hard for my preference but the potatoes were crispy and the chopped bacon was perfect. Oddly, despite the somewhat long wait for my food, the whole dish wasn't as hot as I'd have liked for it to be. It wasn't cold, just not piping. Overall, I had a pleasant time. I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip just to come here, but it's a decent choice for quick service breakfast/lunch/brunch in the area.

I have to say hands down this is one of my absolute favorite places to go for a great home cooked…read moremeal like I used to have growing up. I have never had any issues with the staff because they honestly show you how the southern charm is and you can tell that it comes naturally for them as well. I love the way the restaurant seating area is, very calm, clean, and simple...I know a,lot of people nowadays prefer the whole flashy, more expensive decor and feel, simply because somehow the world has changed into the idea and lifestyle of "enough is NEVER enough"l so if you love the old ways as much as I do then you have to go by Mia's Cafe, I promise you won't regret it. I've built a reputation as an extremely honest reviewer of anything and everything I have ever tried, from products to places and anything else in between. So I make a point to always say this at the end of every review I make to let everyone know that as a reviewer (some call me an influencer but ‍) I give exactly my truth about it and it's impossible to get me to do anything else. So you now know that everything I said above is absolutely my truth. Have a great day/night whichever it is when you are reading this review

Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and delicious, and the portions were generous for the price. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made it a great place to relax and enjoy breakfast. If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm an honest reviewer. The restaurant is small. What I…read moremean by that is, the ordering area will only accommodate three or four people tops. The indoor seating area has only four or six tables, so be prepared to eat outside or take it home. The place is very clean and the people are very friendly. I had the cheesesteak sandwich which was delicious. It was packed fully with beef and sweet peppers. It was a little lite on the cheese, but that's ok with me, just so you know. Opted for fries instead of the other sides available. They were very good, hot and crispy. Yes the price is a little high, but that's the world we live in now. It was very comparable to any other sandwich shop or a fast food chain.

The app did not work on my dear friend's I phone, but I just added her order to mine and that worked fine! I did not like you couldn't modify or cancel your order after placing it via the app. I had the American Wagyu French Dip, half sub, 5 inch, no mayo which was $8.73 after the $2 discount, and friend had the Homemade Turkey, small sub, 8 inch, no raw onions which was $10.84. Both sandwiches were made correctly. We arrive 20 minutes prior to the pickup time I indicated on the app and they were just starting the orders. We were the only customers. The staff were all wearing matching uniforms, hats, and plastic gloves [I'm not sure if the cashier had gloves on]. The restaurant interior was tight, and I thought the music was too loud. The restaurant was clean, including the single unisex restroom. The staff were friendly and smiling! They forgot my au jus and were happy to give me a giant container of it, which was overkill for the size of the sub. Dear friend loved her sub. She was very excited to try this Capriotti's since she loved the Bobbie sub she had in Vegas as Capriotti's. I thought Wagyu beef was wasted on a sub sandwich. The sandwich was very filling, the au jus was hot, and I was grateful to have ice water from their fountain machine while friend got a diet drink. I'm not really a sub fan. I never wake up craving a sub. I also thought these were pricy subs! Friend's coke was $3.25. Do know, there is not ample seating inside and the "feels like" temp yesterday was supposed to reach 107 degrees. I was grateful we were able to get indoor seating. I'm glad to have tried Capriotti's; however, I personally don't have a desire to return, because of not being a big sandwich fan. I also just prefer table service and don't want to be constantly walking around to pick up the order, get napkins, refill my water, get the au jus they forgot, throw away my trash, because I've already worked a long day and I prefer to relax while dining.
