I ordered coscia on a roll (prosciutto, fresh mozz, Romaine lettuce, sun dried tomato pate, olive oil and balsamic vinegar) (~$15 including tip) I love how much prosciutto they gave me because they aren't skimpy w it at all. Everything was SO FRESH. The bread was not stale. The lettuce wasn't wilted, which is a majorrrrrrr ick of mine. The mozz was really fresh, like they claimed. The only thing I would've liked, was a little less balsamic. But other than that, such a great sandwich and I was definitely satisfied and will definitely be back I ordered in the morning, so it was relatively quick since they have a lot of employees but I do imagine that during lunch, it will be a little bit of a wait. Toasties used to be my every day breakfast place when I worked on the east side over ten years ago. Fast forward to this week, my office is a few blocks from here, and my prior office was about a block from here, but I had no idea this location was here. It was the same experience where they have a lot of staff, who are always pleasant and immediate greet you and take your order. I was surprised that the pricing was still extremely fair. I believe $3.90 (tax included) for a bagel with scallion cream cheese. The bagel was excellent, as I was always used to. We had our second breakfast in NYC at this Toasties. We looked up the menu before we went so we wouldn't hold up a possible line upon arrival, which was a smart move. We all ordered our preferred breakfast combos and then the boys and I went to get a table while the husband got in line to pay for our order. This place had a decent size seating area in the back, which wasn't immediately visible from the street entrance and as most people seemed to be getting things to-go, the seating was not crowded. I was on a mission to find an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, but when I went in, there were so many options, and it took me a moment to remember why I had walked into here. The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful. You can tell that they want to serve you as fast as possible. There are three places where you can get food served. The first place is where you can order salads and section 4 sandwiches, and then further down, there is a section for hot plates. A man outside asked for money, and I suggested food. He immediately ordered the hot plate with yellow rice, chicken, and gravy. It looked amazing. I stuck with my original plan of getting an everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese, and I am so glad I did. The veggie cream cheese has real veggies in it. I'm gonna keep this place saved as one of my favorite bagels in New York. Carrots scallions meat celery can't really tell but something crunchy really good.
