Queens Jewelers is a wonderful family-owned business here in Redlands. Alexia met with me on…read morenumerous separate occasions to go over my specific vision for my engagement ring, and it was executed beautifully! Down to the cathedral setting and hand engraved band, every detail was perfect. I fully recommend this business.

I brought my wedding ring into this jeweler because some of the diamonds were loose, but they were…read moreall still intact and clear in color when I dropped it off. I trusted them to properly secure the stones and do a routine cleaning as they have three times prior to this. I went the next day to pick it up. When I got my ring back the first time, I immediately noticed that the diamonds looked yellow and dull, which had never been an issue before. I brought it back and explained my concern, expecting them to fix it. No hesitation they said they would reclean it. I thought oh great did not question it went on about my day. I reached out to Alexa asking if my ring was ready for pick up a few hours later. This is On the second attempt - I was told that multiple diamonds had fallen out of the band during their ultrasonic cleaning. I had stated as long as they weren't damaged I understood as long as they were put back. (Although this has NEVER happened before in the ultrasonic after multiple cleanings) After I asked, "the diamonds were pretty yellow so it will be back to clear?" And she responded "yes it will." And then which prompted her to call me saying that I need to come look at my ring so I knew what she was talking about. That's when I knew something had gone wrong. I was given my ring back with a missing stone, and still no resolution to the yellowing of the diamonds. The owner said that this would be the last time he ever did two prong diamonds that he's done after this because it fell out on his care. Which I understand, things happen but there was no sorry or how can I make this better. I asked, I thought the diamond are clear in color and Alexa had stated that we all see different colors that she might see clear and I might see yellow, but her father did agree that it was yellow. He then started to blame it that there was lotion underneath my ring and that's what caused it to be yellow putting the blame on me for the outcome of the ring. He kept trying to make me look and I didn't need to look at an obvious yellow diamond - whether it was lotion or whatever the problem was return it in better condition or same. Alexa then proceeded to state "what kind of ring is this? Is this lab grown? Whoever sold this to you, should have informed you on what can occur." Then the father had stated if I had thought they were stealing from me, which I never accuse them of, but he then continued on stating my ring was worth nothing to them in value. I said this ring is very expensive and Alexa proceeded to be degrading stating we have one just like that here for under 3k saying they sold my ring to me at a wrong price. What made this situation worse was how it was handled. Instead of taking accountability, the staff was dismissive and made comments that felt unprofessional and honestly rude. I was made to feel like this was somehow normal or not a big deal, when in reality, I brought my ring in with all stones intact and left with visible damage. There was no sense of urgency, no real apology, and no clear solution offered. I had to keep bringing the ring back, and each time it came back in worse condition than before. At this point, my ring is now damaged, missing stones, and discolored--all after trusting them to fix a minor issue. A professional jeweler - especially FAMILY OWNED , I have came here numerous times you'd think they'd treat me better. I wish I would've recorded the conversation! No business should never return a ring in worse condition than it was received, especially when the entire purpose of the visit was to secure and protect it. I'm extremely disappointed not only in the quality of work but also in the lack of professionalism and accountability throughout this entire experience. I would strongly recommend being very cautious when trusting this business with valuable or sentimental. to add I took it in to Kevin Jeweler right after and they gave me a few day turn around time to fix the ring & discoloration but it will be corrected. They said ultrasonics don't loosen tongs unless it was poorly handled before hand , and the yellow in color could be from a dirty ultrasonic. + in response to the company - I am not sure who would go back to a company that didn't fix the problem not once not twice but now then can fix it a THIRD TIME! that is insane at that point. It wasn't about it being a cost. The moment they realize the second time they could do nothing for my ring is when I should've walked in, and the first line of customer service should have been that. Not argue with me and then 20 minutes later come to a resolution after you notice that I'm not dumb and I see the yellowing and I wasn't going back down. I have showed multiple people that before and after and even got a third opinion from another jewelry place and they were astonished and they agreed that why would I let them touch my ring for a third time after it keeps getting worse.
