Pork verde crepes
Cindy H.

MeMe's has a charm and down-home atmosphere you can't fake. MeMe herself is all over the restaurant, taking orders, greeting guests, and sharing fun facts about her menu. Homemade BBQ sauce! The slow-cooked pork is cooked for 14 hours! This is a woman who takes pride in her food and enjoys her job! Very nice servers too. Food is delicious! I ordered the BBQ salad with aforementioned shredded pork. What a masterpiece of a salad. Plenty of juicy shredded pork, lots of real bacon pieces, mixed greens, cheddar cheese, cabbage, tomatoes and onions in perfect harmony! Pour that BBQ sauce and ranch all over, and you have yourself just the ticket after hiking 7 miles! My hubby snagged the pork verde crepes which he loved too. Check out the pics! MeMe went out of her way to find me a size small t-shirt that is beautifully screenprinted with a design that celebrates both Zion Canyon and MeMe's! Check them out! Unfortunately, it was a tad too big for me but they probably have your size. The meal was very reasonable for Zion/Springdale. We ate at the Red Rock Grill at the Lodge the night before. This meal was superior and half the price. The menu here is creative and unique. I loved this lil café with a lot of clocks, a bit of funk, and a thoroughly engaging owner in MeMe herself!! Go here for a yummy dining adventure when you are sick of the same ole overpriced steak and fish.

We were staying in the area and had walked over to Sol grocery store. MeMe is next door to it. It's a nice cafe style place- we ordered at the front (guess the QR code ordering wasn't working) and found ourselves a table. There are lots of tables inside and out. The food was brought out to us pretty fast. We had the BLT sandwich which my hubby deemed the best BLT has had in a long time. We substituted the fries with onion rings for a small upcharge. I had the chicken mushroom crepe. The filling was very tasty although a little too salty for me. The crepe was light and crispy. Yum! It's a good place to have a simple meal

This restaurant is one of the more affordable options in Springdale and has stunning outdoor views. I got the chicken basil crepe, which was filled with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, grilled onions, and cheddar. It was absolutely delicious, and the portion was very filling.

What a pleasant surprise after reading the reviews from others, I have to disagree. MeMe Cafe provided great service, polite, fast, and the food was so affordable and really good! Although we were early at 5:30 p.m. on a Monday evening. The BBQ Chicken salad was very savory, had cheddar cheese in it with grilled or fried chicken and lots of nice veggies. We also got the chicken and spinach savory crepe; so good! We also loved the fresh brewed iced tea.

A+ for us. Started at Zion with a couple hikes and then came to eat brunch. MeMe was great and the food is delicious. Omelettes straight forward with crisp potatoes. The Lemon Crepe was awesome!

Meme's cafe quality in food and service exceeds all expectations. You can tell the love and passion that goes into this cafe especially with the owner and staff. Shout out to Meme and Jailin for the stellar experience and checking in on my husband and I. I ordered slow roasted pulled pork omelette while my husband had the breakfast crepe. The huge portions and the superb taste made it worth the drive. The chili verde sauce tasted fresh while the pulled pork smokiness tied it off together in the omelette. I tried a bite of the breakfast crepe and I can see why a good portion of the menu dedicated to crepe variations. The crepe's soft but structured texture brings a welcomed experience on savory breakfast. We loved the food so much we came back the same day to try out their dinner menu. The MeMe's Hawaiian sandwich was my absolute favorite. The teriyaki sauce had perfect amount of sweetness with the grilled pineapple. Also the juiciness and smoked flavor of the pulled pork balanced the sandwich pretty well. I highly recommend trying this dish out. The Veggie's Delight Crepe tasted delicious with the extra bacon. I wanted something light to try after snacking all day from hikes. If I were to come back to Zion I would not hesitate to eat their breakfast and dinner the same day again. Please give MeMe's cafe a try and support the local businesses!

In & out quickly for a to-go breakfast. Order at the counter - super friendly & helpful! Laid back, casual indoor & outdoor seating for hikers and National Park visitors. Get here for breakfast! Very delicious and fairly priced. Breakfast for four = $65 Nice grassy area for kids to play and a little trinket shop next door.

Cute spot to grab a bite. BLT was pretty good and my family liked their crepes. Sweet potato fries also very good. Food came fast. One thing to note is you can only get breakfast before 11:30 and lunch starts after 11:30.

We stop at Meme's every time we pass through Zion. Their service is always wonderful and their crepes (both savory and sweet) are delicious. Jailin was our server this time and she was on top of everything... with a smile. Passing through or staying in Springdale, Ut? Give Meme's a go. Your tummy will be glad you did.

Hawaiian Sammy

Go here! We went twice! Plenty of free parking. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the view. Very Friendly staff. The salads are fantastic (cilantro dressing!). Hawaiian sandwich and Bbq pulled pork with waffle fries, amazing. A Kids meal is three solid fingers/nuggets with waffle fries and a drink. Kid was so excited for waffle fries. This place is the most reasonably priced place.

MeMe's Hawaiian Sandwich

Very friendly and helpful staff! The food was excellent! I had the MeMe's Hawaiian Sandwich and hubby had Bacon Chicken Ranch Sandwich. They were both very good! Small but cute dining area - plus outdoor seating. Glad we chose MeMe's Cafe!

This place was great! The service was so fast and kind to us and kept checking in on us regularly. Jailin and Ivy specifically were so attentive and great! Highly recommend for the service alone.

First of all, this place was in SUCH a cute part of town. There were so many small businesses, including local coffee shops, gift shops, and bakeries in the area. Additionally, the area had a fantastic view of the mountains of Zion National Park. Secondly, upon entering, the friendly and light atmosphere was palpable. The staff were so friendly, and the natural lighting and clock decor added such a cozy vibe to the cafe. Finally, the FOOD. Oh my gosh, the Hawaiian sandwich was the best sandwich I'd ever had. The pork was so juicy (its savory flavor complemented the pineapple's sweetness so well) and the sauce was so yummy. My sister got the Cubano sandwich, which was also super tasty. The sweet potato fries were fried to perfection (so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside). I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zion!

There is indoor and outdoor seating but definitely try to eat outside. The view is so beautiful. The menu was pretty varied from tacos, sandwiches, burgers and meats. The drink menu was good too with lots of different draft beers and cocktails. We had the crispy Brussel sprouts -so good! The beer battered shrimp tacos on corn tortilla was really good and came with chips. Do try the "dirty soda"--vanilla root beer, coconut cream and lime. Loved it. The staff was super nice and even accommodated my request for no added salt. Definitely recommending this place!

We ordered the Slow-Roasted Pork Sandwich, but the meat was dry and the bread kept falling apart, making it difficult to enjoy. We also tried the Camp Burger, which was decent but lacked any real wow factor. Overall, it just felt like an average burger without anything particularly memorable about it. While the atmosphere and patio are nice, the food was bland overall and not something I'd personally come back for. If you're in the area, there are probably better food options nearby.

We visited Oscar's Cafe for lunch after being promised some of the best food in Springdale. We were…read morepretty surprised when we arrived at 11:25 AM and they were still serving breakfast! The waitress explained that their menu switches over to lunch at 11:30. That's certainly one of the latest I've ever seen! At any rate, we were happy to wait the extra 10-15 minute wait for the kitchen switchover. At this point the place wasn't too crowded at all all, and just as promised, we were able to place our order at 11:40. Garlic Burger ($18) - This is a huge plate of food with a mound of fries and one gigantic burger. The burger starts with a soft bun, lightly toasted on both sides, which is then piled up with onion and plenty of piquant pickles, making the burger extra tangy. There's a weak creamy mayo/mustard mixture that soaks the veggies, followed by a giant half pound burger patty on top. It's slightly pink in the center, but is somehow dry. It doesn't have much of a grilled/char flavor, nor much of a beefy flavor either. The patty is large but disappointing in flavor and execution. There's a pitiful spoonful of garlic on top of the patty. It such a small amount it's almost indistinguishable in flavor and texture - in fact, I didn't even know there was any garlic until I deconstructed the burger. That's a very poor showing for a burger with "garlic" in the name. On top of the garlic is a thick slice of melted cheese, more mayo/mustard, a small bed of shredded lettuce (complete with shreds falling out all over even before being brought to our table), and a couple of tomato slices. There's plenty of mayo/mustard sauce for the sandwich, enough to overcome how dry the meat is. The sandwich comes with a choice of regular or sweet potato fries, of which we went with the former. They are standard food service battered fries, not fried long enough to give any coloring to the exterior, making them extra pale and soft. We asked for a side of fry sauce which we found to be thin, watery, and drippy. (2/5) Pork Tamales ($22) - This dish comes with a side salad, which came immediately to the table. It's a pretty large portion for a side salad and includes plenty of romaine, full cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, charred corn, olives, and a pile of shredded carrot in an extremely tangy and slightly sweet dressing. The dressing is both way too acidic and way too watery for my tastes. It's so overdressed that a large puddle of dressing remained after finishing the salad. The tamales aren't very good either. They are doused in a green chile sauce that's only added after being blasted in whatever cooking appliance they use. The masa feels woefully under-steamed. It's quite coarse in texture and is hard, dry, and crumbly. It's so hard it's almost crunchy. The tamales seem to be pan fried on both sides, or perhaps broiled in a salamander for far too long. The green chile inside isn't even that flavorful, making the tamales a bland disappointment. There's a bed of shredded pork underneath the two tamales. The pork is not as far gone as the tamales. It's a little stringy and dry, but still retains at least a minimum amount of moisture. The pork has a pleasing pink/red tinge, but isn't smoky whatsoever. The overall profile doesn't display much in terms of spices, and the flavor of the pork itself isn't my favorite. I have a feeling that this is microwaved food service pork rather than being made in house. On top of everything is a chile verde sauce. It's again not that flavorful, with more acidity than anything else. There's absolutely zero heat - it's one of the most mild green chile sauces I've had. I feel like the dish could be improved a little if they simmered the pork in the green chile to help layer the flavors more. Unfortunately they are clearly cooked and assembled in a modular manner to save on ingredient cost. On the side is brown rice, actually cooked with green chile, and tender black beans that are appropriately salted. (2/5) Tip: If most people are sitting on the patio, I recommend not asking for an indoor seat. We were basically ignored by the waitress after we got our food since we were the only customers sitting inside. Also, get here earlier for fastest seating. By the time we left half past noon, the place was bustling with the entire patio being full of patrons. Oscar's Cafe serves huge portions with mediocre to bad quality. It's definitely a quantity over quality type of place and seems to be catered towards people who are scared of flavor and spices. I certainly would not return. Bathrooms - Single unisex room in the restaurant itself, but there are more in the mercantile area.

One thing to note is that the chips and salsa are ordered separately, and the queso is an added extra charge on top of that. For our meals, we ordered the special swordfish taco and the carne asada tacos. Both proteins lacked flavor and were heavily covered with pineapple salsa, which overpowered everything else. The tacos themselves were very bland and desperately needed salt. Once we added salt, they became much more enjoyable. The same went for the rice and beans -- both were pretty flavorless until seasoned. The highlight of our experience was Jimenez (Hopefully I'm spelling his name correctly) who did a great job handling a very busy bar section. Service was attentive despite how packed it was, and we appreciated that. Overall, the food just did not meet expectations, especially for the price point. Sadly, Bit & Spur would be a hard pass for us if we return to Springdale.
