The carbonara was the bomb. Honestly, I haven't had carbonara this good before. It's classic, creamy, and the bacon bits made it even better. Definitely the star of the meal. The onion rings were really good too. Super crunchy, and the porter sauce made them even better. The burger was good as well, but the carbonara definitely stole the spotlight. I like that they give you an option to order half French fries and half sweet potato fries. The burgers were really good and the fries were hot and crispy. My friend was excited to have breakfast at the restaurant but when we pulled it, she said it was gone. Upon further investigation, she said that it was in the back. Well, the restaurant must had had a change in ownership because it is half the size from before and the food was okay. I had a veggie omelette that came with premade seasoned potatoes. My wife and I stumbled into this little gem on a quiet Thursday morning and was immediately charmed by its small, vibrant, and colorful atmosphere. While the menu is curated and tiny, the portions and flavors are anything but. Came to Porters after a long day of hiking at Zion after reading reviews online. Sat outside because the weather was so nice (which I dont get to do a lot in Florida, where I'm from). And the views were so incredible. Cindy was our server and she was so funny, sweet and attentive. She made the whole meal even more special! We ordered 2 diet cokes, potato skins, shrimp pesto pasta and the bleu bacon burger with sweet potato fries. The potato skins were crispy, cheesy and fresh tasting. We did, however, order a side of sour cream to go with them. Would recommend. The Bleu bacon burger was cooked to perfection. The fries were also nice and crispy. The shrimp pesto pasta was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Pasta cooked perfectly, tons of big shrimp, pesto was bursting with flavor. And came with two pieces of crispy garlic bread to help soak up all the sauce. Couldn't have been happier with this meal. Overall, it was only $57.36 and considering how great this meal was, seems more than worth it. Sucha good deal because you get a free drink and breakfast item! All we had to pay was tip! I ordered oatmeal because I wanted to be healthy and it was good and came with strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. They also give you a choice of toast (wheat or sourdough) and they have lots of good jam flavors. They also provide raisins in a small cup and milk (lots of options of milk) in a small cup for your oatmeal. And a cup of brown sugar! My husband got the eggs and potatoes with sausage. They even have an ice cream stand nearby, which adds a lovely touch--you can enjoy a sweet treat after your meal or while shopping for some bumblebee berries. Had a lovely dinner here after a busy day of hiking in Zion. We planned an impromptu trip to Zion while visiting Vegas, so we had prepared very little. When we finished hiking and decided to grab some food for dinner, not surprisingly many of the restaurants were busy. We found Porter's and decided to give it a try. While the restaurant was busy we were seated almost immediately. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the scenery of the mountains. We got to watch a storm roll in from the distance while we ate our meals and it was amazing. The service was decently fast and very friendly. We had potato skins as an appetizer and they were great. I had a burger and fries as my main meal and it, too, was delicious. My table also enjoyed a pasta dish that looked fantastic. After dinner we went next door to the shop connected to the restaurant and looked through a massive collection of Zion apparel and tourist items. We were expecting a breakfast buffet like most hotels offer, but this one has waiters and each person is entitled to an entree and a drink. We got coffees, french toast, and an omelette. We recently stayed at Bumbleberry Inn and they offer breakfast vouchers for Porter's Restaurant. 1st breakfast we had omelettes. They were a bit under cooked to us but, the potatoes were good. Second day breakfast--NO COFFEE! They tell us to go next door to the coffee shop and buy?!? Seriously!! Then, my husband ordered the Chicken fried steak...it comes out and he takes a bite and says this is not Chicken Fried Steak?! Asked the server she says no it's chicken--then comes back and says I think it's pork?!? I ordered an Ice tea and had to ask 3 times then I got water. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and, unfortunately I threw that up 3 hours later in the parking lot of my next hotel with explosive diarrhea might I add. Not my favorite moment! Porter's is just you're good ole classic diner! The Bumbleberry Inn has a partnership with Porter's. If you stay there, you get breakfast for free at Porter's. It is quite the deal. The complimentary breakfast includes a main dish and coffee or juice for kiddos. It does not include tip, so please bring some extra cash for the servers. They were in great spirits every morning and work hard to get customers in and out so they can go enjoy the park. They even offer to-go coffee after you've had your cups at the table. Quite generous, kind and appreciated! Over the course of our stay, we tried... Chicken Fried Steak Chicken Fried Chicken Biscuits and Gravy Belgian Waffles (*warning, very sweet!) Denver Omelette Denver Omelette (switched out ham for bacon) My favorite was the Denver Omelette (switched out ham for bacon), while I think my husband's was the Chicken Fried Chicken (of course, lol). The service here is great, they are constantly busy in the morning with everyone waking up to head to the park but they don't lack in service. The food was pretty good. Nothing wow, but just what you need for a long day of bike riding, hiking, and walking around the park. It was raining when we went in but it cleared up pretty quick. And when you look out the window you get a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. There's a coffee and dessert bar, and gift shop attached to browse and buy while you wait. We absolutely loved Porter's. After long hikes, all we wanted to do was fuel up, have some cold drinks, and sit peacefully for a little while...and Porter's totally delivered. Porter's was a 2 minute walk from our B&B, so by proximity it was our choice the first night we were in Springdale. But because the food was good quality, their menu had a lot of choices, and there were gluten-free options for one of my family members, we ate here every day we were in Springdale. The views of the surrounding area on the patio were excellent, and the staff was quite friendly (ask to be seated at one of Ludo's tables).
