Formerly known as pork belly but now is the kitchen table. We decided to come back here a year later with extended family! We loved it the first time and wanted to share it with them. The reason for the 3 stars instead of 5 is fully on the service and not the food. We were there 1.5 hours with no wait to get seated, but once seated we waited 15 minutes before the waiter came to check on us. If they had been busy I would have understood but we were one of two tables in the restaurant at that time. Once the waitress came and took our order we waited forever to get our food. I think there was only one person back running the kitchen. The food was really good but considering how long it took to get our drinks and our food I give it 3 stars. The waiter was never around when we needed refills or had questions. I would like to return but I'm hesitant at the moment. read more

Besides being a bit empty, possibly because of our own timing, everything was great! TVs were on, servers were funny and great, and the place was really clean! I came here because I wanted to try funeral potatoes and I was not disappointed at all! A lot of the food sounded really good and I had trouble picking. First, I have to say if you are looking for pork belly, you won't find it here. Yes, the name is misleading! BUT, if you are looking for pulled pork sandwiches then this is the place. The staff is really accommodating and want their customers to have a nice experience. The best thing I discovered there are the sweet potato waffle fries. Everyone in my party loved them! Let's start. We used to come here every month or two, mostly when we felt like having a hearty sandwich, so we've eaten here probably a dozen times. The food would be hit or miss, but the first, tots and onion rings were always great. I was really happy to see the new name and was hoping to see a "lighter" menu. The place hasn't changed, just the name and some new tables and artwork. Now, for the bad. Our food took a really long time (Sunday, 10:45 AM). I had asked our server if I could order lunch (menu states 11:00). Without hesitation., our server said "No". I have always been able to get a tri tip sandwich or something as the same menu items are on both menus. Since we didn't get our food until nearly 11:30, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas. I expected enchiladas. The menu describes them as corn tortillas filled with sausage covered in pork chili Verde sauce. Not what I got. When we questioned the waitress, she said what she brought was correct. It was 2 corn tortillas with some sausage inside, wrapped and browned on the grill. No sauce. No chili verde. No cheese. Dried-out tortillas. I don't eat eggs, so I ended up eating a few tater tots. The server finally came by about 10 minutes later and we showed her the description on the website. She offered to remake, but my husband was almost finished and I really wanted lunch anyway. She still charged us for both meals $40+. I had eaten 5 tater tots. Nice restaurant. Clean and good service. Kids meals were $6.95 for Mac n cheese/grilled cheese and fries. My kids loved the fries but they were so so on the food. You have to pay $1.50 for a drink for the kids meals. Doesn't come with one. I think they put country gravy in the mac n cheese, which was interesting, but my son didn't recognize the taste so didn't eat it. But I enjoyed it! We got chicken tacos and pulled pork sandwich. Both tasted fine. A little pricey but a nice environment to eat. Clean and not too busy. We also upgraded for a side salad for $2.99. A nice place to check out if you are in the area. read more

The place is cute and has fun decor. Staff was mostly friendly. Got the smoked pulled pork melt and jacked up sandwich. They tasted the same except the jacked up had jalapeños. It was pretty heavy and hurt both mine and my boyfriend's stomachs after. The tater tots and sweet potato fries were delicious though and would definitely get those! That was the last we saw of the server u til she noticed the credit card at the end of the table. The avocado toast had the thinnest amount of avocado spread on the toast. The bread could have been toasted more for better crunch the veggie omelet was full of veggies but the accompanying side of funeral potatoes was very small. Great coffee and iced tea. The owner was sitting at the table next to us wooing a group of three who were deciding whether to use their catering services. He was clueless to what was happening in the rest of the restaurant. Service was great, the server was super nice and friendly, the ambiance was like you would expect, kinda of a homely feel. As for the food, I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings. The onion rings were tasty! Nice breading and cooked to my liking. As for burger, smelled and tasted like it was cooked in old grease! I couldn't even finish it! I was very disappointed. Stopped by while charging at the Tesla Super charger for a quick lunch. The food was excellent and the service was great as well. Our waitress Ashley offered us ice water to go as it was in the high 90s. It's rare to see staff go above and beyond like that and I certainly appreciated it. I love visiting pork bellies! My boyfriend and I discovered it a few months back and stop by at least once a month. I love the jacked up sandwich it's the perfect sandwich that offers a small kick of heat and the meat is juicy and tender. My server is usually Ashley. Wanted to like it...but the food was terrible. I ordered a half a rack of ribs...overdone, burnt and dry. It looked and tasted like they were cooked a week before and they warmed them up in microwave oven and drizzled some bland generic BBQ sauce over it. The white plate they came on had brownish oil running below the ribs. The mac n cheese and beans I asked for were no better than generic stuff I would get at the deli counter at the local Harmon's or Digbys. My wife ordered a salad...she was not impressed with it. We'll not be going back. Too bad. We were looking for a decent local place for comfort food and bbq. We'll keep searching. read more

We stopped in for lunch and honestly left underwhelmed. The food tasted like it came straight from the freezer and was just reheated. The salad was basically plain iceberg lettuce with little flavor or effort put into it. For what it was, the prices felt way too high. On the positive side, the place was clean and they had some fun games at the table, which kept us entertained while waiting. But the overall vibe inside felt a little off, and the servers (who all seemed pretty young) checked in so often it actually became distracting instead of helpful. Excellent dining spot on the west side of St. George with a very "all over the place" menu that leaves you wanting to try more and different things. Seafood, smoked dishes, salads, burgers, home style meatloaf, and even some Asian inspired flair. This menu is complex but feels like "home" as well, We ate here on two separate occasions for lunch / dinner and loved the options. Everything we tried we really liked and would order again. BBQ is their specialty but they've got burgers and other non-BBQ food, too. The menu is extensive. Head's up, no alcohol of any kind here so keep that in mind, if that is important to you. The decor is a little sparse but who cares, you're here for the food. The place is spacious and clean and there's plenty of fry sauce on every table so they've got you covered. Our server was great and there is plenty of parking in the lot. The Blackberry Bourbon Burger was fine but a little uninspired. It had just a sprinkling of blue cheese on it. The Pork Master, apparently their most popular sammie, was good. It's got pulled pork, ham, bacon, cheese, etc. It sounds massive but it's modestly-sized. We tried the funeral potatoes (basically, cheesy hash browns) as our sides and they were fine. Family friendly and lots of food options for all tastes. It's not just BBQ, trust me. read more

Needed a barbecue fix, so tried this restaurant. The place is clean and looks like a barbecue restaurant, concrete floors, country music playing, paper towel rolls at the table. Plenty of parking. Service was friendly and helpful. My wife ordered the three rib basket with Cole slaw and BBQ beans, even though the baskets come with battered fries and coleslaw. Our server informed us that we can choose any of the sides which include battered fries, tater tots, funeral fries, sweet potato fries, salad, coleslaw, Barbecue beans or onion rings. The Cole slaw was good, not soggy. Ribs had good smoke flavored and ring plus were meaty. The bbq sauce on the ribs was a good addition, server offered more if she needed it. BBQ beans were tasted, a little spicy but help round out the meal. Quantity was good for the price. I ordered the lumber jack, a tri-tip sandwich on a grilled French roll with BBQ Sauce, plus sliced mushrooms, bacon, cheddar cheese and horsey sauce piled on top of the standard tri-tip sandwich. My side was battered fries with fry sauce (thousand island dressing) which were the best part of the meal. Unfortunately the sandwich missed the mark. The tri-tip was OK, a little on the dry side, the flavor was almost there. I counted 4 small slices of mushrooms, the bacon was MIA in the flavor department, as was the horsey sauce. There was limited barbecue sauce in the sandwich and the French roll looked more like a large hot dog bun. I wish there were more fries as they tasted delicious by themselves or dipped in fry sauce. So as a BBQ joint this placed missed the mark for me. We are reconsidering trying their breakfast as the food took longer than expected and was not the quality and quantity I prefer. Holy cow! This place was incredibly surprising. I'm a bit of a barbecue snob, after spending 40 years near Kansas City. But I have to tell you, this place is legit! My wife very much enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich. I thought it was a tiny bit dry, but she raved about it! I had a smoked meatloaf sandwich, which was the best one I've ever had. It's absolutely extraordinary and you should have one if they're available. They are limited each day so go early if you want to have this delectable delight. Their beans and coleslaw are both excellent. The management and staff at this place are really spot on! They care about their customers, their service and clearly their food. We will be stopping by here again anytime we're in the area. Heck I think it's worth a road trip from Vegas anyway. You will not be disappointed! read more

I picked up a catering order for my group of 25 earlier this week. I called that morning to confirm the order and was informed that everything was good to go. I scheduled a 6 pm pickup and when I arrived, three employees helped load the food into my vehicle. The food was impressively hot! Even with my 20 minute drive I didn't have to worry about serving cold food. Everyone loved the food and devoured everything. We had tri-tip, pork and chicken - and while all were great, the chicken was a surprise hit with its terrific smoke flavor. We wrapped up with their peach cobbler. A perfect finish. We went earlier in the day so it was not busy. We had a very friendly server. I tried the Blackberry Bourbon Burger. I am not a fan of fruit and meat together, but that actually had a good flavor. The sweet potato waffle fries I enjoyed. They were crispy and well flavored. My husband ordered the Pork Master and I had a bite. Um....I now understand why this is such a popular sandwich. The food was awful in all ways. Food was cold, cooked incorrectly, items forgotten, biscuits dry and all of it took extremely long. We were understanding because we were a party of 10, yet sending back steak and eggs 3 times for the steak to still come out wrong was disappointing. The kids had a kids bacon and eggs one order came out with one piece of bacon the other with two. Chicken fried steaks were ordered, one came out with chicken fried chicken and the other chicken fried steak, has browns were cold, refills of hot water for tea didn't happen till we were ready to leave.
