Decent private parking lot in rear (free parking), entrance is on Kenmore Ave. They have indoor seating and a small outdoor patio. Seems like a great spot to study, work from café or coffee date. Wasn't too busy on a Monday morning. They have food and a handful of donut options. Matcha Latte -solid matcha drink. Matcha Einspanner -cream top isn't the best I've had. Memory Look is a spacious and really nice coffee spot. They offer a good variety of drinks and pastries, which makes it easy to find something you'll enjoy. My friend and I found out about this place through Instagram, and after seeing the photos and reviews, we were really tempted to try it. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it was totally worth it. We tried the matcha einspanner and the einspanner latte, and both were high quality and very well balanced. I always recommend letting the baristas know how you like your drink, and they're happy to adjust it for you. I was in the area and decided to try out Memorylook since I had it bookmarked for a while! Memorylook is one of the few cafes in ktown that have their own spacious parking lot and it's opened until midnight on the weekends. I went on Saturday night and it wasn't too packed and the line was not too bad. They have a variety of coffee, teas, and food but they're mostly known for their einspanner. The interior is very clean, modern, and spacious. There's indoor and outdoor seating so it wasn't too hard for us to find seating because they weren't too busy. I was looking forward to trying their pastries but unfortunately they were all sold out so I was slightly disappointed. Probably needed to come earlier if I wanted to try their pastries. We ended up getting the hojicha einspanner and it was really good and so creamy! Even though it was really creamy, the hojicha is still prominent in the drink and was perfectly balanced with the right amount of sweetness. Came on a Monday morning around 9am and was able to snag a table. There were a few people in line, but it moved quickly. I fear this had the best iced coffee drink I have ever tasted. Unfortunately for me I'm not a local. Stopped by on Sunday mid afternoon and to my surprise there was no long wait time. I loved the atmosphere and outdoor patio space here. The Matcha Einspanner was a bit sweet (sinilar to haagen dasz matcha ice cream in flavor/sweetness). The strawberry donut was absolutely lovely, very light and yeasty and chewy with just enough sweetness from the strawberry whipped cream filling. I went back again today and tried their Hojicha Einspanner (not pictured) which was really lovely. I was a bit disappointed that when I asked if they could make it a bit less sweet I was told this would mean less hojicha flavor, which implies to me that they use a premade/sweetened mix for their matcha and hojicha. The sweetness was less overbearing than the matcha, but I wouldn't have minded it a bit less sweet. In my opinion it's worth the wait if you go early enough for the donuts to enjoy the outdoor space. I will say the experience was somewhat less comfortable than it could have been due to the multiple rotating vloggers filming themselves the entire time I was there trying to work and enjoy my lunch. read more
