Well, Robert from Hope Auto/AAA brought us a new battery (all done in about 20 minutes from the call) and while he was putting in the new battery I made my first call to Elite Auto. Elizabeth was great! Took down my info and checked with her team and said bring it in - we can get your parts AND get you back on the road in 2 hours or less. Wow! I am so used to getting the standard "bring it in and MAYBE we can get to it tomorrow or the next day" response. Well - they were on the money timewise. Steven did a fantastic job on the repair - very fairly priced and even gave us a great place to have a burger and a few beers (Henry's) while we waited. They are a little hard to find (need a better sign out front), but they know their stuff as they do a lot of work on some serious offroad rigs and Carmax contracts - and If I need any work done in the future I am going to go there for sure! Then when I got the car back it ran AWESOME! Like a new car. He's so reasonable and will return your car to you with a steam cleaned engine. My husband then brought his 2001 Toyota tundra to him to get a bunch of work done and man what a reasonable deal he gave us. My husband thought it was going to cost well over $2k, but he only charged us $1,300. Again his work is impeccable and the engine was so clean. Never going anywhere else!!

Not anymore! $200.00 for a 50 cent fuse!!! My engine light was on. I told Plus One that it's for a system that speeds up engine warming in cold climates. Not necessary in SoCal but I needed it to power up to pass the smog test. They said it needed a fuse. Diagnostic Fee: $200.00 Dollars! I purchased four travel trailer tires from PLUS 1 PERFORMANCE at a cost of over $600.00. About 1,000 miles later one of them blew up on the highway in Texas! After being reamed for the fuse I'd had enough of these guys! I asked for a refund for the tire, THEY STILL BILLED ME FOR MOUNTING AND BALANCING! For a tire that blew up in two days on the road! And BTW not one balance weight on any of the tires.

We got both of our cars done here after getting a set of new tires for both cars, and now roughly 6 months later both of our cars have SEVERE balding on the inside of the tires. Wires exposed, tread gone, balding. We never would have seen this if I hadn't need to take my car in for a break and lamp inspection; this could have killed us. Prior to this, we had our alignments done elsewhere and they also didn't do a good job, it wasn't perfect but it wasn't great. We suspect that this business took our money and didn't do a single thing to our cars, just robbed us. We took our cars to the much more reputable Synder's Tires here in crestline; it was more expensive but we got a complete report of how terribly aligned my car was, something Plus One didn't do. Provided are photos and evidence of how mismanaged my car was. I repeat- this could have killed us.
