Upon arrival she said because of the size, that it would be an additional $50 to move our tv since there was no box (she explained it was so their insurance would cover it. But they broke the tv and after their insurance wouldn't give their money for their fault, we were stuck paying $700 for a move and then having to buy a tv for $600 to replace the one they broke. They asked for photos, said they would pay us in 30 days, and still haven't a month and a half later. We will have to take legal action against them but I wanted to warn everyone not to use them. They overcharge for random fees and are incredibly difficult if something happens.

Background follows: I had some cherished family furniture that I needed to donate. After learning about Habitat for Humanity ReStore, I used their very efficient web site and scheduling system. It was easy to navigate, and it worked perfectly. I received follow-up emails and text messages for the pickup, where the donated furniture was going, and reassurance that the family furniture was going to the right place. Because the furniture was too big for me to move outside, and as Restore can't come into the house, Restore assigned the pick-up to Bulk Brothers. Bulk Brothers acknowledged the assignment, and began their own follow-up text messages, keeping me informed of the vehicle license plate that would do the pickup, driver, and time for pick up. This whole interaction, and follow-on actions by Restore and Bulk Brothers was easy and professional done!

PLEASE READ if you're considering hiring a moving company:…read more We hired a company called "MOVE CREW LLC" and it was by far the worst nightmare experience we have had with any company providing a service, not just for moving. This is the most unprofessional company and people we have ever encountered. There were so many things that went wrong but here are a few to highlight and to warn people before they get in business with them. DO NOT HIRE THEM! 1. PACKING (See pictures)- Dishes and cups were just thrown in boxes with no packing material. They also used the truck blankets to cover our dishes, cups, utensils because they didn't bring packing material and is so unsanitary because they use them for covering floors or the trucks. We actually provided them with the packing paper, tape, and scissors to half ass the packing that they did. They didn't even label any boxes so we have no idea where anything is until we unbox everything. We paid for a whole house moving and it even stated on the contract "packing ALL materials. They only packed 70% of our kitchen only and nothing else. We ended up having to go back to the house and fill our SUV multiple times to pack the rest of the house. 2. Their guys were under the influence and smelled like they had just did it in their car before they came into the house. One guy was wearing sunglasses even though it was raining and cloudy the day of the move. I imagine for a service job like a moving company, that should be completely unacceptable but the owner seemed fine with it. I didn't feel comfortable with random people coming into my home and moving our valuables while they're high. They also went through our pantry and ate our toddlers snacks and even decided to throw a couple bags of popcorn in the microwave which they ate halfway and just left the rest on the kitchen counters. 3. Wall and furniture damage (see pictures) they simply said "oh shit my bad" when we pointed it out. They didn't wrap our couch cushions or tables and they're all scratched up and stained from being thrown in the truck. We asked them to fix these things and they said they're too busy for it. It clearly stated on the contract "wrap all items with shrink wrap for maximum protection" LIES. 4. They brought their 10 year old kid on the job who just kept grabbing little things throughout the house and throwing it on the back of the truck. Probably a good idea to ask the customer if bringing your child to the job site is okay beforehand. 5. Appliance damage- they lost hardware for my fridge and washing machine. They also didn't connect the washing machine correctly so when we turned it on, it flooded our laundry room. We asked them to fix it but no one reached out because they said they're too busy. I'm still looking for my desk hardware which they disassembled. 6. Moving items to where they go- I imagine part of a moving job is putting things where they go. These guys didnt do it but when we asked them to put heavy stuff or boxes to where they go, they gave us an attitude for it. We kind of got scared to ask them to move stuff towards the end because they just kept giving us dirty looks and attitude for doing their job we paid for. 7. Terrible customer service- I have tried to reach out to the owner, George Williams many times and he has ignored my calls and texts. I finally get in contact with him today. He was extremely rude and told me "I have other customers besides you". He then texts me "not to call or text him anymore because he wants to get his attorney involved". Dude, you and your company did an extremely terrible job for a service I PAID FOR and you don't want to discuss or fix anything? What the hell kind of company is this? We have 2 young kids so the moving was already stressful but this company just made it 1,000 times worse. There are many moving companies so I would avoid this company. The team was polite and friendly…read more Unfortunately- there was confusion on the date selected, I changed it once over the phone but was also given the ok to change it via the calendar but that did not go well. Day of the move the team was late and I didn't receive communication. It also took 10 hours to move a 3 bedroom 2200 sq house to a 1600 sq foot townhome and we had to leave a number of items in the original home that I had to go back to retrieve on my own. I asked for patio furniture and a grill to be added day of (1 table, 6 stackable chairs, 2 wicker chairs with ottoman's) and am unsure if this contributed to the increased time of the move (the estimate I was given was for 7 hours). I was told dismantling the beds could be easily handled by the team, I mentioned I could handle them but didn't get to it in time so they dismantled them but then the screws were lost to one bed and they refused to put the other two children's beds together (citing liability which I was not informed of). I was left with multiple broken items (the leg and attachment of my dresser completely broke off, both my children's dresser legs were broken, there was a hefty chip on a buffet table, a plastic storage bin was broken, and my suede ottoman was covered in water after being placed near patio furniture. Freshly painted walls are now scuffed and several doorframes have dents/dings following completion of the move. It has been several weeks- I contacted the owner with photos of my broken items and was immediately told he would be happy to fix/replace things and asked for item numbers which I provided. Since then- nothing has been done and I assume nothing by will be done.
