He was not only safe, bu t HAPPY there! They responded to my first check-in text within minutes, with a photo that warmed my heart. They continued to communicate (unsolicited) during his stay. When I picked him up, he had his exit bath, nails clipped, and a sweater they threw in because "he might get a chill out there because he's still damp." Over and above! I love this business model and the dedication of the women who own the business and employ others who obviously love the dogs. HIghest recommendation!

She had basic manners when I brought her there, which I did for socialization and to give myself a break from a demanding still puppy of about 2.5 years old. In the time she has been there she has come a long way. She loves her caretakers, and has several favorite playmates. She has calmed down significantly. They definitely know how to handle larger stubborn dogs without breaking their spirit. My dog is always excited when we drive there. As soon as the car turns onto South Tacoma Way she perks up and start whining and wiggling her bottom. If my dog was unhappy there I am sure that her reaction would be quite different. I hope that she can go there for many more years.

After our local training place closed we were looking for other options and committed to positive reinforcement training. Unfortunately a lot of trainers use aversives, especially with large strong dogs. We were so excited to find Julia, and after our meet & greet we were confident she was a good choice. Julia did a 2 week board & train with our dog while we were traveling, mainly focusing on leash skills and practicing calm behavior around exciting things. We noticed an immediate improvement, but have also been continuing to work on the training at home after our follow up. I'm happy to report that we are continuing to see improvement using Julia's methods.

Both kitties required medications and copius amounts of love and attention, daily brushings were mandatory (per the kitties). Nancy was always extremely diligent, trustworthy, reliable and caring. She would give me advice on caring for them and whether she noticed any changes in their habits that might indicate potential problems - very much appreciated. Plus, she kept an eye on my house and made sure my plants were watered & mail picked up. I always returned to a house that was in order and well-fed kitties. I would recommend Nancy to anyone looking for a petsitter - she's the best there is!

We are licensed and insured, specializing in Dog Walking and In Home Pet Care. There are numerous references that can attest to the company slogan, "Your Pet's Are My Concern." Dog Walking is only part of the service we provide. Pet Sitting while you are away, no matter how long that may be, is also a service. Don't think we're limited to dogs...cats are welcome to experience our care too. We want you and your pet's to enjoy your time away from each other. That way all of you are happier when you're re-united:) Pet's that need medication can be cared for also. Geriatric pet's are appreciated and treated with the respect they deserve. It's important to understand their needs after a lifetime of faithfulness. After being with three of my dogs when they departed, I truly understand the loss of a pet. But I know they go to heaven, just ask Dean Braxton:)

The trainers are all very knowledgeable and very nice. They are attentive to each puppy and their owner. The class sizes are small, which is great. You are able to get individualized help throughout the class, which is nice. Every week is a new topic, which rotates on a cycle. We like this approach, as it gives you the ability to plan maybe what you need more help with or are able to take less classes that week. The playgroups are very well ran, with a lot of attention given to the puppies to make sure they are getting along. These playgroups have been great for our puppy's socialization and having more positive interactions with other puppies. They have a nice waiting area with coffee/water/snacks for people who may be there to observe. They have many different types of treats and toys that you can purchase if needed. Make sure that you bring a lot of treats for the training, you will definitely use them! Also, make sure to schedule your classes in advance, as they tend to fill up quickly, since they are such small sizes. Overall we are very happy with our decision to bring our puppy here!

If we ever get another puppy, I would definitely consider coming back. Here are some things I would keep in mind if I could do it all over again: Pros: -We got lucky with the timing of when we got our puppy, and were able to get our class package at a discount for Black Friday. -Staff are very friendly and helpful whenever I called in. -I was nervous bringing in our puppy that wasn't fully vaccinated for Puppy Preschool. However, they did a great job keeping up with vaccinations as well as sanitation. -Sudee and Diva were excellent!!! While all 5 instructors that we had were experienced, I think they were the most energetic. I felt that the classes with them were more fun and went by so much faster. -Highly recommend Puppy Preschool. Our Alaskan Malamute was SO shy when we first took him to class. He hid behind the stool and would run away from other puppies that were much smaller than him. By the time he graduated, he was playing with other puppies! The classes also reminded us of all the different things that we needed to socialize/introduce our puppy to. There are so many things that I didn't think of, so I'm glad this class filled the gap. The initial months with our puppy were the most challenging, and these classes did such an amazing job stimulating/wearing him out!!! He would sleep for hours after we brought him back from class, and it was a really nice break for us to regain our sanity. It was also a nice space to ask questions and get reassurance as new puppy parents. All in all, I felt these classes were well worth it and I wish we squeezed in a couple more with our class credits. Cons: -Orientation was not very helpful. It felt like a sales pitch for the larger packages. Once we got home and tried to book online, it was unclear what the different packages were for, and we ended up booking the wrong one. Fortunately, I called in and Walker helped set us up with the correct package. -Our primary goal was to socialize our new puppy in a safe and controlled setting. For this purpose, the 12 credit group classes were more than enough. It felt like a struggle to use up our remaining credits based on the schedule/type of classes. -The website isn't user friendly, but they revamped it so it has improved. -You can't interchange credits for group classes vs playgroups, etc.

When I accidently used topical dewormer instead of topical flea med last month, we got fleas. The day after thoroughly vacuuming, flea combing and bathing them. I thoroughly applied the spray to my cats as directed. The bottle says, "yep we know they lick" and assured it was safe for ingesting. The next morning my cats were sick and lethargic. I called the ASPCA vet poison hot line. They looked up the product and yes, three ingredients (lavender, rosemary oil and peppermint oil) are toxic when ingested by cats. The vet instructed they be bathed with Dawn (which removes oils) ASAP. It is fortunate that it was not a work day, otherwise I may not have noticed in time. I made a point of going to Choppers to advise them. I noticed they have several spray on/leave on flea products for cats that have the same ingredients. Shampoos that are rinsed off MAY be safer. I told the young lady about my experience and she seemed uninterested. I asked if the owner could call me. I never heard back.
