Arrived for a wash, blow dry, and curl. They do get you im and out, virgin hair is $65 and I was charged $15 for a trim but they barely cut my hair so I felt that was over priced. They do a lot of upselling for the deep conditioner and hot oil, treatments. At $15 for each service, I said no, because I knew it would be $15 for the trim and I am on a budget. To my chagrin, they kept asking was I sure. Definitely not a fan of telling them "no" more than once. Not a fan of how they described the condition of my hair as they explained why another $30, plus$65, plus $15 for grazing my hair and another $5 for using my debit card was a good deal. I explained, I am a scalp sweater this look will be gone in a couple of days okay. Kept saying trying to stick to a budget then I get the, let's cover up your gray. Okay how much is color, $70! This business has a con artist who overcharged me. I had never been to this salon. However, on Monday, December 15,2025, I needed my hair styled for a work event the following day. I was a walk- in. The stylist, Hanny, had someone in his chair, but walked over to me at the door, and asked if I wanted deep conditioning and a hot oil treatment. I asked how much and he stated $125. I said ok. I don't haggle. After styling my hair, and when I was in the process of leaving, I pulled out my debit card and he said it will be $135 for using the card. I didn't like that, but I paid. Two weeks later, I returned to find out that for the services I received previously, it should have cost $105 at the most and the business has an ATM machine. I got a wash & style plus deep conditioning (special for the deep conditioning) It wasn't that crowded & it was a Tuesday afternoon. I was nervous bc I thought I was goin to be there for awhile but they were really quick. The shampoo man was great! He washed my hair so good...I don't even wash my hair to the extent that he did. It was really nice. My stylist was Kiro and he was really nice & personable. We had a great conversation. Also, he was fast and straight to the point when I asked him questions. Very disappointed!!!! I was recommended by one of my hair client that this shop does good color. When I went in and told Emad ( the manager of the shop) that I wanted to bleach my hair blonde and dye it a bright blue. I tried to show him a picture of the color, he glanced at it and said ok! I let him know that I previously bleached my hair about 7-8 months ago and put a red rinse on it. **i know red is a very suborn color to get out that's why I went to the shop. I figured any hair salon that deals with coloring knows about the color wheel. Immediately I felt uneasy once he started bleaching my hair. He grabbed a handful of bleach and started spreading it all over my head. (No brush!!!) He sat my under the dryer for a few mins. He kept checking my hair color and the look on his face was confused. When they rinsed it out my hair color was pink, orange, and yellow!!!(roots-orange/yellow)(tips-pink).Emad told my he would have to bleach it over. So we bleached it a second time and the color didn't lift a bit! I'm freaking out but keeping calm. I turn around and I see the man who rinsed my hair out mixing my blue hair dye. At this point I'm getting very upset because Emad is not letting me know what is going on with my hair and the workers are talking in there language. I ask him if he was going to get the pink out of my head. He said he would have to bleach it a 3rd time! I didn't want to damage my hair anymore so I said no. At this point I was ready to go home so I let them put the dye on. This time was a different guy. He DID NOT used petroleum jelly around my edges! Now I have a dark blue line going across my forehead. The man was scraping my skin trying to get the color off my forehead.(very painful). After he rinsed my hair I asked Emad for a complementary deep conditioner because now my hair is extremely dry. He said "yes, that's 15$ extra". I told him it should be complementary because he bleached my hair twice. He said "NO! Your hair is not damage, we can give your to 3 bleached in one sitting". He basically said no! At the point I was crying and showing my anger. My hair looks like a rainbow and feels like a Brillo pad, the color is definitely much darker then I wanted! After all of that I asked for a simple complementary deep conditioner.(15$). Once he said No I wanted to grab my things and walk out. My intentions walking in was to get my hair dye, cut and styled. I politely paid the 40$ for my dye because I refuse to give that place anymore of my money walked out that salon with dripping wet hair. I really fell like I handled this situation lightly.
