This Menchie's is under new management. That in its self will be an improvement! I have noticed the store is much cleaner than in the past and the new owner is very friendly and helpful. I have never been "Fat Shamed" before, but today the guy working at this Menchie's location did it - costing him and/or his employers a pretty lucrative arrangement between a Fat Guy and a place that sells Ice Cream. Why would they do that? Why would they NOT want to make money??? I was rudely cut off after 4 samples (they have 16 taps and 8 "swirl" options) - the guy had to literally turn away from a customer that was trying to pay for their ice cream in order to tell me "No more for you, you're done" in a voice loud enough for the whole (small) store to hear. I had never heard of a free sample limit and checked their corporate website just to make sure, no mention of a 4-sample limit. My wife and I were made to feel VERY uncomfortable after that, with the cashier watching us like we're some suspicious teenagers who had been caught trying to shoplift - I'm well into my 40's! A jolly man with graying temples and a Santa-like demeanor! This man did everything he could to deter us from spending any time or money in their store, and I am ANGRY! read more

The day to go is Thursday for Tap out Thursday. Fill it up for just $5. It's still expensive but for the occasional outing not a bad price considering how much you can get. When my family came to this establishment today we were greeted by a dog sitting in a chair at a table. This dog then licked me as I had to walk past it to get to the yogurt machines. There is a clear 'Pets Outside' sign by the door. What was worse was an ON DUTY employee was sitting at this table petting the dog. This employee then was stocking spoons with no gloves and no hand wash! The place was busy but she spent more time petting the dog then working. It was very disgusting and disappointing they could not enforce their pets policy for a dog that was clearly not a service dog! read more

I know what you're thinking, five stars for a froyo place?! Aren't they all the same?! Oh no, not all froyo places are made equal! There's something about the quality of the flavors of this place that stands out to me compared to most other places I've been to. I had cake batter (seriously, SO GOOD here) and pumpkin (also SO GOOD) and they were just delicious! I like the way they set up their toppings too, it's very organized in their containers, which makes it cleaner and of course they label everything. The decor is really cute too. I wouldn't recommend this yogurt place. The flavors aren't very good compared to some other places I've been to. They taste artificial. Plus, I walked into this place to have a little midday dessert and the guy denied me having any more samples after only having two. TWO! That's ridiculous. I just walked in and first of all the two people that were there did not even greet us as we walked in. There was no one there so it's not like they have a lot of people to deal with. When we were about to pay I realized I didn't have my wallet but I saw they charge with Square App and they had a wireless chip/Apple Pay reader. I explained to them I didn't have my card but I have Apple Pay and a picture of my card so they could also do a manual entry. Now as a business owner that has worked with square for 3 years now I know the payment methods Square offers which is: Apple Pay if you have the wireless chip reader (which they do have) as well as card manual entry. They both stood there clueless and kept saying "No we can't do that. What are you going to do with the frozen yogurt?" Even when I explained what a wireless chip reader is able to do as well as the square app. We walked out and saw as they threw away the frozen yogurt we could have payed for. We are currently enjoying froyo from Skinny d's in Mill Creek where the staff are trained to use the Square app. I hope this review helps the owner train their staff properly on how to use their own equipment. My family and I love to go to Menchie's in Bothell. The service is from the employees is good and the yogurt is AMAZING! Tried to go to the menchies in Lynnwood but at 9:30pm on a Friday night, the line was out the door. We wanted froyo so we looked up the nearest one and drove over. This location is clean and had a handful of customers the whole time we were here. We didn't feel rushed to pick our flavors or toppings. They have 7 froyo machines which translates to 21 different flavors. There is a large amount of candy type toppings and a mediocre selection of fresh fruit toppings. For the 5 of us, we spent $22. Can't beat that. read more

Menchies is the best Fro-Yo place I've gone to. They have such yummy yogurt, and they always have plenty of toppings ready for you. There is tons of different flavors of both yogurt and toppings. My favorite is the Cake Batter with some Boba on top. The thing I like about how they price is the charge by weight. How ever much Fro-Yo and toppings you put in your cup, gets weighed and then priced. That way you can pretty much control how much you're going to pay. Yummy! read more

Very disappointed. We have never been here before but promised the kids frozen yogurt. I checked the website before we left and it states they are open until 11pm on Fridays. We pulled up at 9:55pm. The hours on the door say they are open until 10:30. Went to open the door and it was locked. They turned the open sign off as well. There was no sign on the door stating they would be closing early and it surely wasn't due to not being busy as there was probably 15 people inside eating at the time. My kids were super disappointed having to leave without a treat. I feel this is unacceptable customer service. read more

I want to give this place 5 starts because it's clean, the yogurt is amazing, and the staff is very nice and helpful. Here's the thing though.... This stuff it loaded with artificial sweetener. As someone who can not have artificial sweeteners, I find it odd (and frankly rude) that they don't tell you that they are in there. I literally asked, and was told, "No, it's natural." Well, it's not. My bloated stomach and bowels will attest to that. If you aren't allergic, and you don't need to get the "no sugar added" FRO-YO, eat it- it's fantastic! read more

tried this place today. i think i like red mango better, but this is very good. tried the pina colada flavor with dried coconut for a topping. it came to around 5 dollars. the place was packed with families and their small kids, considering this is the middle of january, wont be able to find a seat in july. read more

I don't really know why but after going to Yogurtland I really cant find another fro yo place that measures up to its delectable goodness. Menchie's however comes kind of close. The flavors they offer are good however there are more options at Yogurtland. The cost of the yogurt is fairly expensive and is about as expensive as cold stone. The ambiance is pretty good but I don't think I'll be coming anytime soon. I'm a Yogurtland kind of gal. read more

Yogurt is awesome and so are the toppings BUT they don't pay their employees. The kids are all asking why they were not paid last Friday but the owners keep blowing them off. They won't even tell the kids when they might be able to pay them. Don't bother tipping because the owners keep all the tips too.
