I won't say Debbie is Lady Jesus, but she sure knows her stuff. I've visited her massage studio twice thus far and won't hesitate to return the next time I'm in severe pain. She's extremely skilled in pinpointing issues and explaining what she's doing to *mend* them. Debbie employs a bunch of different massage techniques, including ashiatsu (back walking) and inversion. I never thought I'd be okay with someone walking on me, but it really does seem to help with pain and alignment issues. I appreciate that she listens intently and then formulates a plan to lessen the pain substantially in the selected time session (I've requested an hour each time). I've had some frustrating back issues for several years now (sciatica, scoliosis, bulging disc...you name it), and it's incredibly reassuring to know that Debbie is only a few blocks away when I need her. It's easy to get an appointment within the week. If she doesn't pick up the phone, leave a voicemail and she'll respond within 24 hours at most. Debbie is also personable and easy to talk to. Debbie was wonderful! She's very knowledgeable about the body and what's going on with aches and pains. I've had many massages but Debbie explained things better than anyone ever has! I have trouble with sciatica so she worked extra on those areas. It wasn't the most comfortable feeling but a "hurts so good" kind of feeling instead.
