Mendi doesn't speak much English, however she still tries her best to and is super sweet. The pricing is very affordable. I always pay only $6 and she has a stamp card as well. Love this place!! It's taken me a long time to find a threading place I truly love going to. This is the first place that will ask you if you want more hair taken off rather than just over-threading and leaving your eyebrows super thin. There are times I have to ask them to take a little more off but I would prefer that than having the hair gone and nothing left to fix. I wanted to give it three stars but the threading was good. BUT, she is very slow which means wait times can be lengthy. I highly suggest making an appointment before going. When I arrived on a Saturday, there were three people ahead of me and I spent just over an hour there. She spends about 15 min per person for eyebrows. In addition the salon could be cleaner and have better seating. She is a one women operation within the salon and she does not have a sign-in sheet. She should consider getting one, so patrons don't feel like they have to sit there for the entire time inhaling hair dye fumes. It would also help people estimate the wait times. I would give 5 stars but the waiting time is long. Mendi does take her time for a reason and I believe it's because she wants to do her job right. In other places, they would be like kinda rushing you, even if you don't really like it they always argue and say that it's fine. Mendi would tell you why some shapes might not work for you at the moment. She is a patient and sweet person. She has aloe Vera and witch hazel and sanitizer available, I really like that! I'm terrified of getting my brows waxed because of some horror stories of patches being ripped out and hurting the skin. I've only ever gotten them threaded because the precision makes me feel a little safer. I wish I knew the woman's name, but she is amazing. Her attention to detail and dedication to making sure that your brows look the best they can be is admirable. She takes her time measuring and evaluating if they are even and what sections could use small tweaks. I don't even have to tell her what I want, she keeps my natural brow shape and makes it look even better. I don't go in as often as I should, but honestly I can get away with 2 months between appointments because it lasts for that long.
