Chicken Pesto sandwich with fries and ranch
    Alissa H.

Second time eating at Noe's and I'm so happy there is a delicious restaurant right next door to my office! Very friendly staff, consistent food, unique options and super clean! I would give it 5 stars but I have only had one item from their lunch menu and my mom wasn't as excited about her sandwich, plus there was something strange about the ranch dressing that I couldn't quite pin down. Not that it had gone bad, just strange. I got the chicken pesto sandwich with their delicious toasted ciabatta bread arugula lettuce and cheese. This one is my go to! My mom ordered the Monte Cristo and complained to me that it wasn't quite sweet enough but good nonetheless. I recommend you try this place if you are in the area.

Found this brunch spot near state street and was pleasantly surprised! The outdoor patio faces the courthouse and got to witness a wedding going on. The omelettes were amazing, as well as the eggs bennys and the hollandaise sauce was perfect. We also got the corn bread which was super yummy. Service and staff was great and will definitely come back here when im in SB.

Cute place to grab a bite, I loved the chilaquiles and the cornbread. My wife ordered a veggie omelette but the taste was basic. Service is okay just needs more peep. Overall the restaurant was okay. The parking situation is hard to find so good luck.

Heard the brunch here is awesome! Came for a quick lunch, had chilaquiles and my friend did the burger. Both were yummy - red sauce had great flavor

The owners of this restaurant are super kind and welcoming! The food was delicious and flavorful, especially the hot sauce. It's also across from the SB courthouse and has such a beautiful view from the patio. Will definitely come back again!

ABC omelet with "extra crispy hashbrowns"

Wonderful family atmosphere, with kind and warm service. We watched our host cross the street just to offer to take a photo of a bride and groom across the street at the courthouse. The ABC omelet is awesome. And they actually know what "extra crispy hashbrowns" looks like. Yum! Will definitely return.

Green Chilaquiles and a breakfast burrito

Noe's cafe was WONDERFUL for breakfast this morning! We ordered the green chilaquiles with the Lettie's breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious! The service was great! The staff was very attentive. Location was perfect with a beautiful view of the Santa Barbara court house. 10/10 would recommend and would come here again.

I brought my party of 6 here for breakfast and it was fantastic! Service was prompt, warm, and friendly. We were offered beverage refills and sauces, etc several times. The food was delicious! Items ordered were breakfast burrito, yogurt parfait, monte Cristo sandwich, breakfast sandwich, and steak ranchero with eggs and pancakes. Coffee was good and hot and they had vanilla creamer or half n half. Will definitely return to this place!

Wow, I've never been more excited about something in my entire life The lovely barista working when I went was so personable, fun, and doing a fantastic job considering how HOT it was in that bus! Inside the bus itself was super cute and cozy. I feel like I would love to sit in there and drink all day, but I ordered the Strawberry Pink Peppercorn latte with oat milk and was pleasantly surprised! It was sweet with a little hint of fruitiness and a little floral all wrapped in that creamy oat milk texture with espresso that really woke me up. It was refreshing and energizing on a day when it was like 98 million degrees. I would love to come back and try the other offerings the next time I'm in town. Five stars!

When the server did arrive she was nice and got everything right. I got the chia parfait with fresh fruit that I have loved here before but this time instead of being in a ceramic bowl it was in a clear plastic to go cup like at a take out counter at Starbucks. What? Not very birthday lunch vibes. My cappuccino was very good though and did arrive in a ceramic cup with saucer. Thank goodness that wasn't in a to go cup! Strongly recommend going back to regular bowls for the chia parfait and up level the service a bit. Otherwise great spot and have always been happy with it.

Service moved at an unbelievably slow pace. You could tell the problems weren't isolated to our table either. Plates were piling up in the kitchen window while customers sat waiting endlessly, and several diners eventually gave up and walked out. Servers would occasionally check in, but nothing ever followed through. We repeatedly asked for things, got reassured they'd handle it, and then never saw them again. The food was disappointing. I understand that menu prices are pricier due to you being so close to the beach but come on. Small menu means delicious fresh food not hospital food.

We stopped in on a Saturday for a late brunch/early lunch and were surprised there was no wait. The vibe is super chill--quiet, neighborhood café energy, not overcrowded or hectic like a lot of brunch places. Service was warm and welcoming, and the food really delivered. We ordered the lemon zest brioche French toast, eggs Benedict, and a classic eggs + toast with turkey sausage/patties, along with tea and coffee. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just really well done. It's owned by a couple (they were even featured in a magazine a few years back), and you can genuinely feel that care and intention in the space--from the atmosphere to the team working there. Nothing feels rushed or impersonal. What really says a lot--we kept coming back every day we were there. It's one of those low-key, slightly hidden gems that ends up being the highlight of your trip.

Note that this is a review specifically for a private event (wedding lunch reception)…read more My wife and I recently got married at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and were looking for a restaurant to host a lunch reception and State & Fig absolutely delivered. A 5/5 experience and we would certainly work with them again. We were in contact with Serina for about a year before the wedding and she was very accommodating, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. We initially met with her to discuss our vision, had a food and cake tasting, and also a final walk through with our coordinator to ensure everything was smooth. In terms of food, atmosphere, and service, I would want to go through all three in detail: 1) Food: We had a lunch style buffet and the food options were fresh and many of our guests gave very positive feedback and took shameless second trips. Serina and the owner (Patrick) were able to source many of the ingredients seasonally and cater to our guests' palate (Asian-inspired, etc.). We had a tasting and they took our feedback into consideration in earnest. Moreover, our strawberry cake was AMAZING. 2) Atmosphere: The restaurant had a great layout for our party size (~90 or so) with seating inside, outside, and upstairs. This arrangement allowed us to have an intimate reception despite having a lot of guests. The decor in the restaurant is minimal, which allows customization to make the space truly our own. State & Fig allowed us to borrow a few decorations, which was generous. 3) Service: The two points before were already excellent, but State & Fig's outstanding service took the lunch reception to another level. Serina was a joy to work with in terms of bringing our vision to life and was always there to make things easy for us. Patrick ensured that this was a special day for us, and encouraged us to soak it in and enjoy it as much as we can. And the wait staff and servers on the day of were professional and attentive. For that, we are immensely grateful. There were other restaurants that we toured before selecting S&F, and it was clear that hosting the reception would simply be a transactional business affair. This felt like a genuine desire to make our special day a memorable experience. Overall, a 5/5 experience and we hope that others will be able to have State & Fig host their special day. P.S. A funny aside: we met a couple sitting next to us during our tasting, who were returning to celebrate their anniversary after getting married at S&F. They told us we were in good hands and not to worry, and we AGREE.
