Very very bad experience, we went to rent a tux, told them how long i was going to need it and was told that the late fee was 20 bucks a week ! we had it for a week n a half and was charged 200 in late fees , mind you i was told by multiple people that it was 20 A WEEK not a day do not go here , you'll have a 10/10 experience somewhere else im sure of it read more

I had two suits made for my husband at the Men's Wearhouse. They both came back lovely and fit nicely. My only complaint is I think their prices are just really really out of the ballpark. My experience in your store in Avon was a very pleasant one due to the professionalism of Suzan's. She was very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs throughout my experience. I got real lucky in having her as my sales person because the other two gentlemen sales persons were very unprofessional in their actions and the way they were dressed while waiting on customers. I was told I could wear a slim fit tuxedo. None in stock so I ordered. It really should have never been suggested to me, to ordered slim fit. Ordered over $1000 worth of clothing, to find none of it fit. Waster of my time and needless credit card usage. Took all of the Calvin Kline stuff to the Greenwood store and they actually were very helpful. They fitted me correctly and 30 mins later was finished with a Pronto tux and all other items returned. Customer service level and willingness to help at Avon store all time low. Don't water your time. read more

1. Go to Louie's Tux shop they have better suits and tuxes and cheaper, they're Indiana based, and will treat you better overall. Men's Wearhouse Completely dropped the ball. I had a group code set up for wedding attire measurements. My groomsman and I went in to get sized up July 19th for a Late August wedding. I was never called to confirm size etc. I go in the week before, having full faith and confidence that it would be ready and fit fine as my sister's boyfriend works for a men's Wearhouse in Kokomo and I had a decent experience working with him there. We arrive and are greeted by the staff. A woman named Carrie goes to assist us. She goes back and grabs the orders. And we go to try the garments on. I am the groom and have ordered a tux. Problem #1 it's a suit, not a tux, next to nothing and I mean nothing fits, then just a bonus all the clothing is wrinkled like it had been pulled out of a duffel bag( perhaps they could have fixed this in the store I do not know, as I assumed this would be a ready-made pickup) my groomsmen also had sizing issues. I was irritated but polite with the worker, who tried to help the best she could. They offered to reorder the tux and fix the sizing we initially took them up on it as at the time there seemed no good alternative. They told us they use FedEx to ship the suits and tuxes for rentals. So it was a risk as FedEx is not guaranteed delivery times. We had arrived around 6:30 pm and were told orders could only be placed by 5 pm and my wedding is in two days leaving the pickup time for best case scenario 9 am the day of my event. Here are my major issues, the customer service is terrible, mistakes can happen, I paid full price upfront and no one ever called me to check out the sizes, this entire thing could've been avoided with a simple phone call. The high school kid who measured me clearly had no idea what he was doing as everything was too big, on top of that it took an obscene amount of time to get fitted (probably because he didn't know what he was doing). His rapport was not great very impersonal. This was also the case with any of the other employees I dealt with Ben and Carrie. The company must not care about building relationships or want repeat customers. Customers come in for help for some of the most vital days in their lives and the staff here treat people like it's a Walmart check-out lane, you wait way too long and when you get to the front you're just keeping them from the next commission. We went to Louies Tux shop, told them how men's Wearhouse screwed up the day before the wedding. Asked them if they could possibly help. Confidently they said it would be no problem. Louie's tux shop had better quality rentals the service was great and it was far far less expensive compared to men's Wearhouse. Everything fit great and was pressed when we arrived for the pickup the morning before my wedding. read more

By reading through your reviews Im not surprised of my experience with your store, Very disappointed at the service, walked in and I hear someone yelling from the counter, while the individual is playing on his phone... "what are you looking for" while he sits on the counter, not even a proper greeting, I walked around the store just to be yelled at again, from the same location same gentleman sitting at the same spot like a bossman on top of the retail counter "what you need? When you need the pants by? Go over to the other side of the store to find what you need" seriously my man my POV as a customer I don't need no one to yell at me as a customer to be sold something, I need a real customer service oriented person that can deal with a customer walking in ready to spend 10k in cash if needed even if I need to be followed around the store like the other gentleman was doing with his customer I would have spent my money with him in a heartbeat but instead I was being talked down to as if I wasn't able to afford your product by an individual that doesn't want to help a customer walking in ready to spend money on your store. Your products are awesome, great style great options but your sales pitch has completely disappointed me. Your greeting completely uncalled for, your manners while a customer is looking for something are to be looked at in a granular way since it was very unpleasant. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Took son on a Saturday to get fitted. Prices weren't shown until it was time to pay for everything. I'm a woman so I assumed all the rentals were the same price. $200. I didn't know they had packages that started at $99 nor did I know they were running a special we're I could buy tux for $250. I found this out when we were told the tux was in so he needed to come in and try it on. 1) Pants fitted horribly but weren't given option during our first visit to try on the pants to see how they fit before we ordered the rented tux. During the try-on visit, we were told for the fit-style he wanted, we needed to purchase pants. We did and were only given a discount. We'd already paid for a full rented suit and we received no money back towards that even though we were buy pants so we now had a worthless pair of rented pants. They offered us no money back. Also, my son wasn't measured correctly so either way, we would've had to get different pants. The employee said his rearend was larger than most. Basically saying he had a big butt. Well, shouldn't the person that measured him have measured that area too???? 2) During that same tryon visit, we found out about the cheaper rentals and the the option to purchase instead of rent for $50 more. I asked why we weren't told about that on our first visit when he got fitted and we paid for everything. The employee said they were probably too busy because it was prom season. 3) During the try-on visit, they never had my son try on the bowtie. I'm a woman so I don't know how to put it on. He was almost late to puck up his prom date because we thought it went over his head and there were no instructions to tell us how it worked and no one had shown him in the store. I had to run to the store and ask for a larger one and the guy then acted like I was dumb when he showed me how to adjust it. Most women don't wear bow ties so how was I supposed to know? I called customer service the following Monday to complain and all I received was a refund on the pants I purchased. Lessons learned: Don't go to this store. They're concerned about making money and that's why they don't discuss cheaper rental options more do they have prices next to the cut when they're showing you the rentals to choose from. Customer service is not one of the things they're good at. Plus you go into the store and you feel cramped. There's no place for customers to sit. read more

My boyfriend recently needed to go for a suit fitting for a wedding. We went in probably an hour or so before close. All of the employees working were sitting around and talking to each other which isn't a big deal if they also had good customer service. Once we explained why he was there, the person took his measurements without once talking to us. The whole time he was talking about random stuff with other employees. We asked a few questions none of which I believe they answered correctly. I know they're a chain store but it was like they were trying to be unprofessional. read more

It was my first time at Mens Warehouse but was not my fiancés first time. I was not impressed at all. I had just gotten off work so i wanted to dress comfy in some sweats. I feel like the way i dressed made them not take us seriously, which you should never discriminate or judge a book by its cover. Someone in sweats should get the same treatment as someone walking in wearing a suit. I was told they only had 2 suits he could try on that fit and our best bet would be to go online and buy from there. I feel like i wasted my time and gas money driving all the way there just to be told that. My fiancé said it was a weird experience for him because every other time he has went there with his father or alone they tried very hard to sell him anything they could, but this experience they didn't seem like they took us seriously or cared about making a sale at all. The only difference with his experience was his past experiences he dressed nicer. The whole point in going in person to mens warehouse with an appointment was to see with my own eyes what the suits looked like on him. Not a photo on a model on a computer screen. I am having a small wedding but that doesn't mean small budget, and i feel i was very much judge for wanting to be comfortable after work. Horrible experience for my first time shopping at a Men's Wearhouse store and I would give it a 0 star rating if I could. I am a graduate student and I was hoping to get fitted with just general measurements just so I could browse and come back as a client around May. The guy hands me a random jacket and we both see it doesn't fit and he says it looks fine, and then I mentioned well I have long legs can we measure that as well ? He measures my waist so inaccurate and didn't even bother to check my length and just wrote down my educated guess. So yea quite frankly I think the customer service was laughable considering there were 2 of them next to each other the entire time and they didn't even try to help if not just raise further questions as to why did I even come here. read more

Men's Wearhouse has quite the reputation out there in the wedding world, and I feel obligated to tell about my experience because honestly? It was not the horror story you often hear! When planning our wedding, Men's Wearhouse just made the most sense, they are nationwide and very abundant and we got a discount since I bought my wedding dress at David's. Also, they have a nice deal where if so many (I think 5) groomsmen get paid tuxes here, the groom's tux is free. There are other perks, but we did not earn them. We ventured here one random night and it was pretty deserted so we got to work on picking the tux right away. The woman was knowledgeable and despite trying to get us to rent the most expensive tux (can't really blame them) we settled on a nice but more affordable option. From there you pick the colors, style, extra accessories such as pocket square. In the package, everything is included including socks and cuff links, which is great when you don't want to have to worry about anything the day of. Fast forward to picking up tux, each guy got to choose where their tux was sent and try it on in store ahead of time. This is important because if anything is wrong/doesn't fit, they need to order it in for you and need I think at least 24 hours to do so but they can get the replacements in super fast. Anything that was slightly off for our guys was promptly corrected and everything went very smooth. The guy that helped my husband try on his was very helpful to him and his tux fit perfectly. Tux return was a breeze too and the reimbursement for my husband's tux and deposit was quick too. I would recommend Men's Wearhouse to those looking for an affordable tux rental package and hopefully you'll have as good of customer service experience as I did. They also have really good sales on suits sometimes and we will probably be back in the future for this when we have a need for a couple of new suits for my husband. read more

Went in to buy some accessories and maybe buy a few dress shirts. The saleswoman did not seem very knowledgable and she left me for another customer. As I went to check out I assumed she would ring me out but she walked bu and ignored me to help another gentleman with a suit. WILL NOT be returning to Mens Warehouse, I will stick to the Joseph A Banks in Plainfield although it is a little further of a drive for me, the customer service there is much better. read more

Picked up my rental tux from the Avon, IN store for a wedding that I was in last weekend and the jacket was way too big. Had at least 6 inches of extra room in there for my stomach. Asked to try on the next size down and it fit perfect. Girl waiting on me said she would order it in and said that it would be in by noon on Saturday on the day of the wedding. Then she said no, she would have it by Friday and they'd call and I could come pick it up. Never got a call so checked with them and they said sorry but no delivery on Friday for the jacket so they would call on Saturday so I could pick up. Never ever got a call from them on either day. Also the dress shirt was way too big so I said I needed a smaller shirt. She said that there was nothing they could do about that as they are sized by the neck size. They gave me a size 17" neck with 35 arm length. I take a 16" neck with 32/33 arm length. I looked like a pirate with the shirt on. Do they know how to measure??? I ended up buying a white dress shirt in my size from a local store to wear instead of wearing the overly too big dress shirt that came with my tux. Anyway, pretty disappointed that I paid $250 for a tux that only half of it fit correctly. I was fitted for my tux in Lafayette but picked it up at the Avon, IN store. Everything fit perfectly when I was fitted in Lafayette so not exactly sure how I ended up with jacket and dress shirt that did not fit me appropriately. read more

They are terrible!! They measure you so fast that they get the wrong size on EVERYTHING. We had a wedding to go to and everyone who had a "custom fit" tuxedo had something wrong with theirs. The clothes are nice but it would have been better if they measured right. read more

A group of us came in on a Friday for a Sunday wedding. We were picking up suits and looking for the grooms tie and pocket square and Sabrina was so helpful! HORRIBLE service. The employee that greeted us when we came in couldn't answer any questions about sizing or different brands. They sent us to the seamstress who started marking my husband's suit for fittings even though I was trying to explain to her that we wanted to try on different fits before having this exact suit altered. She looked at me and said "I don't know who can help you," crumpled up our receipt, threw it at me, and walked back into the break room. I have honestly never been so appalled or offended by the way I was treated as I was at this establishment. When I asked for the manager's contact information, the secretary told me that the manager was on vacation so the assistant manager was covering for him, but he was on lunch so he couldn't speak with me. The assistant manager actually came back from his break while we were still there so I was able to speak with him personally. When I explained the incident with the seamstress he said "did that REALLY happen?" And acted like I was lying to him in front of his staff. We will never, ever, ever be back to this place. read more

The only reason this place is getting one star is because I didn't have a choice! This business deserves ZERO stars!!!This place is very unprofessional. My fiance and his groomsmen had an appointment at the Men's Wearhouse in Greenwood Indpls, IN, Sunday 1/24/2016 to get fitted for a tux for our wedding. The salesman that was there didn't let them try on anything! The salesman tried on the tux instead of my fiance! How professional is that?! I don't need to see the salesman in the dam tux I need to see my fiance in the tux!! But the salesman made it clear that they didn't have anything for my fiance to try on or his groomsmen. The salesman told my fiance he could still order his tux without even trying it on!! Now who would order a tux for their wedding day without trying it on first?!? And not to mention the salesman was helping other people during my fiances appointment. That's why we made an appointment so that we could get the personal one on one time that we needed but unfortunately we didn't get that!! I'm going to make it my business to let everyone know how unprofessional this place is. This business needs to be closed!
