Was fitted for a wedding went to pick up my tux they said let us make a few changes upon my request; arm length too short, pants too short and tight. They white mark the suit... I tell them I can come back in a few days wedding was 3 days away... no all set! Got the tux with the white marks all over the suit and no alterations! When I called on wedding day they asked me to bring it in which wasn't happening! The manager said I'll refund you... when I brought the suit back they gave me a $50 discount!!! Never again!!! I rented a ticket for my son's wedding in Quincy MA on Sunday, 26, from the Franklin MA store.I was told my Tux was ready Friday May 24. I picked up the tux and was told that I was all set. Fast forward to 4 hours before the Sunday wedding and I open the Garmet back to find the jacket missing. My wife panics and calls the nearest Men's wherehouse in Braintree MA. The store manager in the Braintree store calms my wife down and says he will fix this. He had a jacket at the store and I drove to get it. Kudos to the Braintree Store Manager Robert. He saved the wedding and handled everything thing calmly and professionally. Robert deserves a raise and a promotion. He saved the entire once in a lifetime weekend. Definitely taking my 5 star review back... Long story short my anxiety went through the roof when I came in to pick up my tux. Reason why was, my tux was a complete DIASTER. Legit, all the measurements were wrong. Only thing right was the shoes. Jacket, shirt, pants, and vest did NOT fit at all. Everything was basically a size up. Even the workers that day we're in shock. Luckily, I was being helped by NIKITA. She's the formalwear manager there. I spent 3 hours that day with her. She walked me around the whole store, accommodated my needs so can put together my tux. I was really annoyed and disappointed at the moment. I couldn't do anything else because my wedding was 4-5 days . Nikita calmed me down and made sure everything will be in by Friday. Sure enough it did. Even with the tailoring (friendly guy and awesome work) it came back Friday. I appreciate Nikita and Andy for helping me out. Shout out to the person who messed up my measurements. Great service at a great price. My husband and his groomsmen rented 4 tuxedos for our wedding. The salesperson walked us through all our options and helped us select the suits/tuxedos closest to what we envisioned. They had so many options that it was easy to pick exactly what we wanted. We had groomsmen from all over the country and of all different sizes and looks, so we knew we wanted a place they were able to go to at their own convenience and had styles that looked good on all of them. We even got to pay the bill for everyone up front. When one of their stores in California had messed up on the order, the store in Braintree was able to get it fixed right away. I've bought s suit, sport coat and had custom tailoring fine at the Braintree location. All in all the products are top notch.... I used to visit other suit stores, but honestly the quality, prices and service is just rear at Men's Warehouse. Casual, dress and black tie.... they really have it all! I went to Mens Wearhouse in Braintree today and was so impressed with Ty. I have not had that type of customer service in years. Ty was so polite and knowledgable. I went in there with my son to get a suit and was dreading it. Ty made it so easy and answered all of our questions. I am going to tell my friends about this store because it was worth the trip. Today I had the pleasure of stopping in at this Men's Wearhouse location with my groomsmen to get our suits fitted. When we walked in we were greeted by a team of employees who quickly grabbed our crew and started getting their sizes. The staff here made it a point to get all the measurements right and took time to make sure that all the men knew what to expect from their rentals. Some of the employees were a bit more pleasant than others, but the experience was great overall. In the end, we enjoyed coming in to this store and would come back in the future to buy some suits. They had a great selection, the staff was great, and they had a ton of deals. We are excited to be getting our tuxedos here and are happy that we chose this location to grab our sizes. read more

He was incredibly helpful, very friendly, went above and beyond to get the right size vest and the right color even though it was not in stock, and he didn't make them feel pressured. Without them asking he even tried to find a shirt they were looking for that was not in my fiance's size. Avoid this place. The prick who "helped" us out--namely by being incredibly obnoxious and a bad stereotype of a used car salesman--introduced himself as the owner of the store. He kept forcing suits onto us that we didn't express any interest in and when we pointed out suits that we wanted to try out he would palm the price tags off of them and rip them in half. When we asked why he was doing it, he claimed the tags were from an old sale--probably a BS attempt to force the suits we didn't want onto us. When we settled on some suits, this idiot owner tried to insist that he couldn't for some reason put the suit in for the buy one get one half off promotion that every single other Men's Wearhouse in the area was honoring. We really didn't feel like driving out of town to another location so we just accepted it to make things easier. Somehow, this d-bag salesman manages to make things even more intolerable. After getting fitted by the tailor and agreeing on sizing, the store-owner rings us up with $100 of hidden tailoring adjustments that we didn't request and definitely did not need. I told him very sternly that I didn't have the patience for this nonsense and he sheepishly swept away his poor attempt at a swindle. Like nearly every reviewer here, I'm going to emphasize: DO NOT GO HERE. IF YOU DO GO HERE, JUST GO TO BURN THE PLACE DOWN. read more

I made three trips, waited politely and patiently each time to try and pickup my groomsmen suit and accessories which unfortunately we're already paid for. So they had their money and cared to ignore the after sales part of it. No one knew what was going on and I was told to come back later after waiting way too long without even an acknowledgement. This happens more than once. I didn't expect the service to be great but service like this was flat out shameful. If this is how all the locations operate this company will be out of business. I'm normally a fan of Men's Wearhouse. I have bought all my current suits and formal wear from them in the last few years. For my upcoming wedding I decided to use this branch in Braintree as it was closer than the Dedham store where I usually frequent. At first, the service was great! Pleasant, polite and professional. This is the reason I did not just give 2 stars. I'm not sure if in the last year there has been job turnover, but I called last week for a follow up on the wedding tuxes. I spoke to a woman who seemed in a rush to get me off the phone as she sounded hurried and flustered. When I asked about details and when I was to expect to hear more about the tuxes, she sounded annoyed and quickly put me on hold as she cut herself off. I'm not sure if it was an off day for her due to any number of reasons (i.e. she had a fight with her boyfriend or she just bumped her leg into the desk, etc.), but her professionalism should surpass whatever reason it may be. If it is an insurmountable feat, then IMHO you probably shouldn't work in customer service. To be fair, I did receive another employee after who was courteous and professional sounding. He put me more at ease and helped me relax. Yes, I know I'm the groom and I shouldn't be as wound up about the wedding, but I want to make sure this goes perfectly for my bride. Less stress on her, the better off I am for sure. Not sure if this deters me from going back for more business, but this experience sure doesn't help their favor in my mind. This location and company hit a grand slam in abysmal customer service. I'm getting married in September and decided to get my suit plus 5 groomsmen's suits here. The initial sales person was very helpful and made the initial fitting pretty easy and painless. Then she quit, which apparently is such a monkey wrench for Men's Warehouse to deal with. Multiple groomsmen did not get their ties I had already bought and paid for. I had to call and/or go in person to ask why they didn't. Every time, the sales rep or manager I ended up speaking to either had no idea what was going, couldn't find my group number, couldn't find my stuff, or just told me to call back/come back later. This happened 3 times. It was continually blamed on the now, no longer employed sales rep. Another groomsmen in NJ also went to a different location to pick up his stuff. I specifically called the Braintree location, spoke to Brian, the manager, and he assured me he would be all set. He wasn't. They didn't have my group number (again) and said he had to pay for everything. I tried to rectify this by offering to pay via credit card over the phone to the sales rep in NJ. He said "we don't do that." Don't take payments? Ok, dude. I then called Braintree and asked to speak to the manager. He wasn't there. I demanded a call back explaining the situation from him. I did not get it. I asked them for HIS boss, Eric in Dedham, to call me to explain the myriad of issues. He did not call, either. This company's customer service is a joke. The only helpful person there was Helena, who seemed to be actually trying her best and actually followed d up with me. WHAT A CONCEPT. I went to the southshore mall to meet some friends this weekend and since there is only one or two affordable men's stores I stopped here in a strip mall on the way out of town to try to find my husband some golf shirts. Went into Men's wearhouse to get my son fitted for a wedding that he was going to be in that was in Colorado... once we arrived to our destination (Colorado Springs) we went to pick the tux up and when it was tried on it just wasn't what it was supposed to be!! The Staff in the Colorado Springs store was Awesome telling us he couldn't let us walk out the door with a tux 2 sizes to big for a 12 year old kid... they attempted to correct the issue and couldn't due to time frame and my wife ended up purchasing a suit for him to wear..... I will honestly say the staff between both Men's Wearhouses where friendly but that didn't solve the issue of something we paid for... this issue ended up being made right by Men's Warehouse but it was something that just should not have happened at all... read more

This company is a dishonest disaster. We faced so many mini-disasters and inconveniences by dealing with them for our wedding. People were missized, given the WRONG colors, misinformed, given emails to pick up their tuxes when their tuxes hadn't even arrived yet, and created a stressful situation for everyone involved. The workers are kind but hide behind unethical and dishonest company policies instead of being empowered to think critically about situations. I would never, ever recommend anyone use this company. I was originally so pleased when I remembered there was a location right off the highway that I could conveniently take my hard to nail down visiting brother and my groom to be into get measured for their suits for the wedding. Once the saleswoman who was very unpleasant found out I was actually ordering from another store location she immediately tried to tell me I had to go to another location for them to be measured. She argued with me until finally slopily measuring the boys. She asked both of them their waste size which defeats the whole point of actually taking measurements!?!?! I found the whole experience horrible and I would never tell any of my friends to go there for their suits or tuxes. read more

To start- I love Men's Warehouse-only place I will buy a suit. Bought over 20 suits and my wedding tux at different Men's Warehouse and never had a problem until this week. This is also maybe the 2nd or 3rd bad review I have ever written. Stopped in to get a pair of khaki pants for an occasion two weeks forward. Found a $150 pair I liked- guy told me they had a sale and they were 2 for $100- or 1 for $150. Seemed odd but didn't want to argue. I wanted a second pair of the same brand in olive and he said they didn't have it but looked it up on the computer and called a store while I waited and they said they would ship it over right away. Went to try on the pants and the guy said sorry, he was wrong and the pair I wanted were on sale for 2 for $200. Not a big deal- guy mixed up the brands- honest mistake. They measured them for some tailoring (awful tailor- don't get your stuff tailored there but that is another story) and told me they would be done in a week and they would call when the olive ones came in. Never did call. Came back a week later to try them on- they handed me the Khaki pants to try on and I asked where the olive ones were. He said he didn't know what I was talking about and said he would find out. I tried them on (they were not a great fit but I didn't want to argue)- and what I think was the manager came back and handed me a pair of olive pants. I asked if he was sure they were the same pair and brand and he said yes. I went to try them on and noticed they were not the same brand, they were in fact the much cheaper store brand. When I told him this he said the other store must have sent the wrong ones. Now that means when he told me they were the same brand, he either lied or was incompetent. My guess- both. He then said he would get them from a store and call me- said they were coming from a store in Acton and would be there in the next few days. . I told him I needed them forbthe following Friday (this was Saturday)- he said no problem. Then when I was ready to leave with my Khaki pants, he told me I had to take the olive pants that were the wrong brand with and bring them back to return them when the right ones come in. I told him I didn't want to do that- he said I didn't have a choice. Didn't want to argue so I took them- pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Monday came- no call. Tuesday- no call. On Wednesday I called. He told me he did not have them, that no store had them. He never called me to tell me this. He knew I was in a hurry- yet no call. Then I had to come back to the store to get a refund, because I had the olive pants I didn't want in my trunk. Awful store. Awful manager. Not ready to give up on Men's Warehouse-but one more experience like this and I will. read more

We stopped in here on a whim today to see if we could nail down some ideas for the guys in our bridal party. Caitlyn assisted us and she rocked! She explained everything and showed us all kinds of options and helped us make the decisions about what color schemes to choose for the whole shebang. Getting things squared away for our guys was SO easy! We placed our deposit and got our group set up so now people can take their time getting measured, but are eligible for discounts at their local Men's Wearhouse in the meantime. Went to this store to buy a suit today. The employee asked me what we were looking for, showed me where the suits for my size were and went away. The rack had less than 10 suits. No other help or anything, didn't even offer to help me try any. This was when we were the only people in the store. I went here to look at tuxes for my wedding in May 2010. When I first went in, my (at the time) fiance and I waited around for 15 minutes and nobody helped us. We found someone to ask for help, explained that we were looking for tuxes for a wedding party, he told us he was the manager and they were too busy, we would have to come back another day. I asked about later that day, he said we could try again in a couple hours, gave us his card and said to call first. I called a little while later, another employee answered and told us to come on over, it had slowed down a bit. I got over there, the manager ignored me for a while, then I made eye contact, he looked at me, shrugged and walked away. I was about 30 seconds from walking out when another employee came over and helped us. The manager is just as rude as people in the other reviews said. Absolutely awful!!!! Rude, Ignorant and incompetent. Went there for tuxedos and nothing fit, which is fine. Had to go back 4 separate times until they finally got it right. That isn't even the bad part, the service was 100 times worse. All of the service people sit around in the back until you verbally ask them to help you. There is one girl who works there that has such a dismissive and snotty attitude that I'm surprised she's still employed. Whoever manages the store should be fired, he has absolutely no control of his employees. I can honestly say they have the worst service from any retailer I have ever been too. My fiance and I went there this evening to check out Tux styles. What a mistake! From the moment we walked in they were not very helpful at all. Caitlyn, whom another reviewer raved about, was indifferent, rude and refused to allow my fiance to try on any tuxes or suits. When we asked to see the different styles, she reluctantly took out a style book and told us that customers are not supposed to see the book. How are you supposed to know what styles are available?! Her bottom line response was to go to a smaller tux shop if we actually wanted service and wanted to try on tuxes. We will never go back to Men's Wearhouse. I wish I didn't choose this company. 2 of the suits arrived a week early, most arrived a day or two late, and my soon to be father in laws came the day before the wedding! They would consistently tell us they weren't sure when the suits were coming even though they were late, 2 days before the wedding they told us my father in laws suit may not be there in time, the store manager has the manager on duty couldn't have cared at all, one suit didn't even fit and one was missing some clothing.... The only one who cared was an associate named Zack....he was great, the rest of this store and company sucks. I asked for the regional managers contact info and they refuse saying they didn't have it (sure....) I finally made a formal complain on their website, I was contact by, I assume who ever runs this dept, that the regional manager would call me within 72 hours - THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!! She followed up after I wrote her back with more disappointment in this company, and again was told I would be contacted - it's been 11 days and I still haven't heard from him. To some extent it's hard to be overly harsh on specific men's wearhouse branches because they are all franchises and sell the same products. That said, the products truly are awful. I had to rent 3 tuxedos for weddings from this particular location. I went in and had all my measurements taken months in advance. On 2 of the occasions that I went to pickup my rental, the sleeves on the tuxedo shirt were laughably short. And on both occasions, they didn't have the right size in stock. Not sure how this happens when my measurements were taken months ago. The tuxes themselves are just plain horrible. I don't understand how they don't offer more fit options (like a trim or slim cut) given the amount of rentals they do. Having to pay over $150 for a tux that looks like you stole it from someone 2 sizes larger than you is a joke. And the shoes that come with it are so shiny and fake looking that it looks like you are wearing a Halloween costume. It's amazing how far off the mark this company is given their tag line of "your gonna like the way you look". People at the store were pleasant enough I suppose but not getting measurements right is pretty basic. read more
