I cannot say enough great things about Parish, the gentleman who helped us out with a tux and suit fitting. It's prom season, so the store was incredibly busy and yet he was calm and kind and professional. Helped fit my 16 year old for a tux for prom and worked through all the details. Then fit my 13 year old for a suit for confirmation. Answers all their dad and I's questions and made fabulous recommendations. Will definitely return to this location specifically because of him. read more

My husband and I used Men's Warehouse for our wedding a few days ago. We went in January to get fitted, added all of the items and the groomsmen, and were told that everything was ready to go! We went ahead and got everyone ordered by July 12th, and pick up on the online tracker showed for August 20th for everyone. My husband even called the store at the end of July to make sure it was all ordered and correct. When we walked in on August 20th, we were told that my husband's suit wasn't ordered (problematic since he was the groom), and that there was no order ever placed by us. The blame was placed on us (the manager, Parcell, and a worker, Josh: "you guys never placed the order and never checked in with us so there is nothing we can do), and it felt like we had to fight to right a wrong that we didn't even make. Even after showing the online tracker, showing the confirmation email, and showing the card on file had been used to order the suit, all we were told was "well since you didn't order it, we can order it today and do expedited shipping". It was very frustrating, but we ordered it on that Wednesday while we were there and were then told to come back on Friday as it will be in that day by noon, and if it hadn't come in, we could leave with an in-store suit close to my husband's size. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. When we had arrived on Friday around 12:30pm, we were told that it wasn't ordered until Thursday afternoon (we were promised it was ordered while we were in on Wednesday), and that it wouldn't get into the store until Saturday by 5pm (our ceremony was Saturday at 2:30pm). The manager and workers seemed completely not worried about the fact that we needed a suit as soon as possible, and every person we talked to just seemed annoyed by us. We were already running on a tight schedule the day before the wedding, and we ended up spending two hours in the store picking out every piece of the suit we were supposed to have received. The manager helping us, Parcell, just seemed completely annoyed by us, and we felt like everyone was just avoiding us. Even when we were done picking everything out, the seamstress came out completely annoyed that we were added on. It was completely embarrassing to have to basically beg for something that we ordered and followed all the directions for. When we went back to turn it all in, the store managers gave us another version of the story, saying that they had let go of the girl who was supposed to turn in the order and that's why nothing was ordered (it was weird, because it was the same guy that had worked with us and talked to us throughout this whole thing). We then were refunded only a partial payment of the suit; we still had to pay for some of the rental AND the expedited shipping that was completely on them. Do NOT go to Men's Warehouse for anything, especially suits needed for an important event. ESPECIALLY do not go to the Clay Terrace location; they will treat you with complete disrespect and act like you're an annoyance just being there. This added so much stress to our wedding, and put a huge damper on our excitement leading up to the day since the majority of our time was either us being put on hold or given some lame excuse by managers who don't care whether it's your wedding or something. read more

After double checking and confirming several times with the gentleman working that he was ordering the right suit, he moved forward with the sale. When he picked it up, he learned the entirely wrong fit had been ordered. We are now left helpless on a suit for this event. We went in to look for a new suit and we were never greeted or offered help from an associate. After waiting over 45 minutes we asked an associate for help (there was another associate as well who never offered to help and I never saw helping anyone else). The associate we asked for help said she'd be with us shortly and after another 15 minutes we gave up and left. As we left I saw the two associates just standing around talking to each other. Had a great experience. the store manager Bree (hope I remembered right) helped me and got exactly what I needed. very good at what she does. And on top of that there was no pressures to buy. This review is for Seth, who is an employee at Men's Wearhouse. My husband was invited to an out-of-town wedding in Indianapolis. So he ordered the suit at home and picked it up in Indiana. However the pants were unfortunately too short. When we went to Men's Wearhouse in Indiana at 10 AM when they opened Seth who was working alone, already had five people waiting. Not only did he handle all of the in store customers with Grace and patients, but he also had to answer the phones. I understand there's a lot of shorthanded companies today and it's the unfortunate sign of the Times. But it's nice to see someone like Seth handling it without frustration or taking it out on the customer. read more

I'm surprised at the amount of negative reviews for this store (Clay Terrace). I rented a suit for my brothers wedding and the 3 times I was in there were all great experiences. They weren't real busy but I saw a minimum of 3 workers at all times and was greeted promptly and always got in and out quickly even though they were thorough with measurements and trying the clothes on. Everyone was extremely friendly and engaging and seemed to know their stuff! read more

We went here this past weekend looking for a suit for a wedding. We had a super nice young man help us get my fiancé sized and look at different fit options - skinny, slim, modern. He was super helpful and didn't try to "make a sale". We picked out a suit but decided to wait to purchase it (waiting to see if we could find any coupons lol). Another employee waved us down as we were leaving the store and said we should buy today and asked us to wait until he was done with his other customers. We waited about 10 minutes (there were a lot of customers ahead of us) and then decided to leave anyways. The second guy trying to sell us the suit and asking us not to leave was a little annoying specially since it was so busy. But overall, a good experience. we will be back to get his suit at some point! read more

Easily one of the worst customer experiences I have had in quite some time. Walked in and was one of the only people in there, and I had to be the one to approach and start the conversation with the associate. She didn't give us any overview of how the tux rental worked, but instead I had to ask a bunch of questions to which she seemed unsure of all her answers. When the tux we wanted to see was out of stock, she didn't know when they would have it again and said she couldn't check if other stores had it. Finally, she pushed us to visit Joseph A Bank next door, said in a way that felt more like she was wanting to get rid of us. The experience there was no better. read more

Pros: Incredibly helpful salesman. There's no pushiness, just general information about sizing and selections. It was great for us because I didn't know what size my husband was and neither did he. They also have ongoing deals for 'buy one get one free' on suits and custom suit-making for $395. Cons: suits are expensive. It's hard to buy them new at great prices (so we haven't yet). But they do have a sale rack and coupons for '40% off a suit' or '$40 off a tux rental' which are super helpful. read more

Ordered a suit rental for my son. Went on Thursday before prom and it was about 4" too short in pant length. They Agreed to have alterations fix it by Friday at 11am. At 6pm on Friday, they had been Unhemmed and unfinished. The guy said "oops- we didn't send it to them." I had no time on Saturday to make a third trip to see if they could fix their error and they had zero other options for me (another suit, delivery, nothing). Guy asked me if I could take the unhemmed pants and "make them work." $230 for a suit rental and my son is going to look ridiculous unless I figure something out. Absolutely terrible customer service. Go somewhere else. I was offered 25% off my rental by the corporate customer service for my trouble. yep- pay 75% for a suit rental that doesn't fit and is not hemmed. 3 other moms on Thursday also had suits that were not measured correctly. My son was a ring bearer for my brothers wedding, that was to take place in NJ. I had him fitted 2 months before, and again 2 weeks before the wedding to ensure that the tux would fit. When I picked up the tux, luckily I had made him try it on. The jacket fit perfect but the pants only came to his knees! There was no tie, and no vest. They assured me they would have the pants shipped to the closest Men's Warehouse to where we were going in NJ. The pants were there when we arrived, but still no tie or vest. The tux was almost $200 to rent and we had to drive out of our way to get new pants. The rest of the tux ( tie and vest) never showed up. The other groomsmen had vests that never arrived either. This place was a total disappointment. I am just beyond belief how this order could get screwed up so badly! Men's Warehouse never apologized or even offered a discount. read more

My husband and I went to Men's Wearhouse seeking a suit for our wedding. The salesman that worked with us was friendly and gave us his undivided attention each time we were in the shop. He gave great recommendations for the customization of the suit and shared suggestions from other customers as well. The suit fit well upon delivery (approximately four weeks), and only needed minor altering in pant length (which came back less than a week later). In addition, we earned enough rewards points from the suit that we were able to go back a couple months later and spend $100 same as cash. He even got an email announcing a flash sale and scored a couple pairs of $100 jeans for half off and three ties for the price of one. All in all we had a great experience and will go back. Not so greats: I will say that it can be a little overwhelming as the rental portion of the store isn't well cordoned off from the sales floor so prom season is stressful in the store. And when it's busy it can be hard to get greeted or determine which staff members are rental, and which are sales. The buy one get one sale that they are known for doesn't apply to most of the products in the store, so this was a disappointment as it was the number one reason we entered the store to begin with. The biggest let down for us specifically was the limited selection for big and tall. My husband is 6'5", 220...with a 6'10" wingspan. I don't expect off the rack suits to fit him like a glove, but I did think that we could get one altered. This was not the case. There was apparently not a suit in the store that could be altered to fit him so we ended up spending around $1,000 to get a custom suit. Okay, this is ok, this is not their fault that he's shaped like a giant Zeus-like gorilla. But what really broke my heart was that we couldn't get the custom suit in blue - because for some reason they didn't use the blue used in regular suits for the big and tall suits. We settled for gray...but for what we spent I regret that a bit. We just didn't have the time to shop around. read more

This review is for the Carmel Clay Terrace location: Scanned QR code to wait for rental fitting at 3:41 pm. Received a text at 5:10 saying they were ready to serve us. Received a text at 5:11 saying they were sorry we were missed and we should re-scan to get back in line. Meanwhile two rental customers were helped instead of us because we 'did not show up' when texted. We did not leave the store and used our hour+ time to try on pants, jackets, shirts, etc, to get an idea of sizing in an effort to make the rental process move more quickly. When I brought this to that attention to someone who appeared to be management at the front counter, I was told 'I'll be bouncing around and will get to you if I can'. Not even a simple...'i'm sorry...let me see what I can do'. I've been in your store for close to two hours and have not been seen. And, by the way, your queuing system is clearly not working. #basiccustomerservice We went a few stores down and got exactly what we needed and found a much more helpful attitude from those who helped us. read more

The guy helping was perfectly nice and helpful, but the people responsible for mending the suit to fit are subpar. The suit jacket that they gave me was too small (ok, fine, that happens) so the guy said they would order me a new one and have it in the store the next day. Only because I couldn't pick 0 stars. I went to rent my suit for my wedding and my trip to this Men's Warehouse ruined my whole rental suit experience for my wedding day. They had me do almost everything I could have just done at home on my phone. Then they didn't have any of the actual things for me to put together and look at the color in person. The manager was training the person that helped us and he was not at all ready to be helping customers. He had no idea what he was talking about. They also charged me $20 for the reservation, then said oh sorry it's actually $40 and then another oh sorry it's actually $60! Called a different mens warehouse and that employee said he quit after working at this location because of how bad it was. There was dust everywhere and I felt like I was trying on a suit at a goodwill. I will never be able to have this first time experience ever again. read more

I went to this location hoping to take a look and try on some suits for my wedding so I decided to book an appointment for after work. My fiancé and I showed up about 5-10 minutes early. I told the worker behind the suit counter that I had an appointment she asked what for and I explained that I made a wedding suit appointment. She proceeded to ask me for my group number to which I told her I don't have one because it was my first appointment. It took 5 minutes of this same two points and her telling me to call the groom before I could explain succinctly enough that I am the groom. She proceeded to point out which suit options are available for rental. That's literally it. Didn't measure me, ask what I was interested in, literally nothing. It made me feel uncared about and honestly not want to use them at all. I felt like the worker could not have cared less about the appointment nor did she even really look anything up in the computer at all to look at my appointment now that I think about it. Super disappointed. My fiancé and I were looking forward to doing this. read more

My son needed a suit for an interview. Because it was his first suit, we had many questions about style, fit, colors, cost, comfort and so on. As soon as we entered, a greeter welcomed us, turned to the Asst Manager Clay Calvert who was at the registers, and asked him if he was free to help us. Clay Calvert said, "Yes", and asked us what we wanted. When we mentioned we were looking at suits for my son, he took us to a rack and pointed to it. He then took out a suit and told our son to wear it. The suit was too big, but Clay insisted that it looked good on him. He then left us there and went to tend to another customer. We had no idea about sizes, costs, quality or anything. My son chose a couple of other suits to try on, while we waited for Clay to come back. He didn't. After 20 minutes of waiting and trying on a couple of different suits, we gave up, totally lost and confused. We decided to leave, disgusted. As we left, Clay glanced up and ran over, giving us his business card. We accepted it but threw it in the trash can outside the store. We made our way to Jos A Bank two stores down, where the salesman was good enough to answer all our questions and helped us find two suits, shirts, ties, and belts, all for around $1500. What a difference in customer service! Maybe Clay Calvert, Asst Manager at Men's Wearhouse thought a college student wasn't worth his time and so pretty much ignored us. Great location, nice sales clerks, and a good selection of clothes. However, make sure that you find your own seamstress or alterations business to take your clothes too and always take your close to that seamstress. As nice as the sales clerks are at Men's Wearhouse, most do not know how to properly fit mens clothes and the seamstresses at this store don't have a clue. They know how to sew but they don't speak English and they don't know how to properly fit mens slacks sport coats or suits. You need to make sure that you know how mens clothes should properly fit your body and go to your seamstress. If you're unsure Google or go to the library and check out books on how to wear clothes. read more

Im not sure what the deal with this place is. After i was measured and tried on the suit that i thought looked the best on me, i was taken to have it marked to be altered. I was in a hurry for this suit due to the funeral it was for occurring faster than expected. I guess it was my fault i didn't try it on after the alterations were made, but it really wouldn't have mattered anyway, due to my time constraints. I picked the suit up on my way to the viewing a few days later. It was to be worn the following day when i would be a pallbearer. The next morning when i put the suit on, I was shocked! The pants were above my ankles while I was standing and the jacket had been taken in at my ribcage causing the lower part to balloon out and make me look like a pear in short pants. This being what i had to wear, I was forced to go with it. It was embarrassing to say the least. When i took it back to Mens Wearhouse and put it on for them to see after the funeral, the assistant manager (whose name I didn't catch),some middle aged blonde lady with a foreign accent, was rude to me! Saying i must have been mistaken about who I had dealt with when the suit was purchased, as far as sales staff. When i was voicing my complaints about its fit, she interrupted me and told me "one thing at a time". I couldn't believe it! We were charged for alterations that were not made and it needed three more that were never marked. The suit shirt and tie were $700. I was supposed to get the suit back today, but guess what, no call. They did waive the extra 35 dollars in alterations that were needed...hahaha. Whatever, like they would have gotten that anyway.
