I was set on using Men's Wearhouse over competitors because I liked the designers better at Men's Wearhouse. Our stylist and the experience itself was far from pleasant. Having been our first time shopping for this, we of course had a lot of questions regarding renting vs purchasing. Every time we asked a question our stylist responded like we were dumb for not knowing the answer. We originally wanted to rent my fiancé's tux, but decided we would purchase instead (due to alterations) and asked if we could try things on. Our stylist explained that they only had larger sizes in store but they could order correct sizing. We asked her if we could try the tux on in a larger size just so we could get an idea of it and our stylist seemed annoyed at this. This was a $750 tux! Of course we wanted to see/feel it before making the purchase! She got us into a fitting room and showed my fiancé how to adjust the waist on the pants. When he got out of the room he asked for her help and she said "Didn't I already show you how to do this?" He quickly changed and we left. Although I don't expect something as inviting as a bridal dress experience is- This is still an experience and we were both taken back by how rude and unfriendly this stylist was. There were no customers in the store so "busy" was not an excuse. We ended up at FT for the groomsmen and another company to purchase his tux. read more

Dan is the man! I came here to get some suits for work as well as use some gift cards taking up real estate in my wallet. I was immediately greeted by Dan who was friendly and, seemingly rare these days, extremely passionate about his job. He actually seemed excited to help me! Which made me excited, too! Because this process of finding what I was looking for was going to be much easier and hastily accomplished with some help from Dan! I showed Dan a few ideas for outfits I saw online and he immediately assembled them for me and he included few suggestions of his own, including a blue suit, which I hadn't originally considered but ended up being a winner. He showed me various sizes, which was great for the perspective. I'd try one on and say "This is perfect!" Dan would show me another size and then I'd reevaluate "On second thought, THIS is perfect." It was so refreshing to be promptly greeted and be helped by someone who actually takes pride in their work versus is just trying to get through the day. Dan is a pro and a total asset to this store. Whatever they're paying Dan, it better be enough to not ever cause him to think about leaving because you do not want to lose Dan! Dan even guided me towards suits which were the best value and bang for the buck. One suit he showed me, he said cost $600. He showed me another suit for about $450 that looked about the same as the $600 one (maybe even better) and it also included a shirt, pants, a vest (I don't wear vests #Alladin), and a tie. Score! In the end, I left with three suits, pants, shirts and multiple ties. My visit was definitely expedited and pleasant because of Dan and his extraordinary assistance and expertise. Originally we went to mens wearhouse in brea. But they didn't have my size for a suit. They directed me to orange store for an exchange after purchasing from brea. When I walked in dan the store manager was there to assist right away. He noticed a discrepancy in our purchase and fixed it right away! This review is for the Orange, Ca., Town & Country location, #2736. Our daughter is getting married at the end of June and she asked that I wear a Tux. Been about 10 years since I last rented and didn't know what to expect. My wife and I walked into the Men's Warehouse located in Orange, California, around 12:30pm on a Saturday to check out what they could offer. I was aware of their reservation system on their website, but elected to see how they handle 'walk ins' these days. I was not disappointed. We were immediately welcomed to the store by two employees who where helping other customers. Not 20 feet into the store and we were greeted by Ella, who asked if she could help us. We explained that I needed a Tux for our daughter's wedding in Oregon at the end of June and she walked us over to the rental area of the store and asked me to scan a QR code to 'check in while she started getting things ready. I failed miserably at the 'check in' and told her that I was having problems. She immediately said no problem and entered all the necessary information in the the computer. Ella is one of the nicest, helpful, and professional retail workers that I've encountered in a long time. She interacted with both myself and my wife to learn more about our daughter's wedding and to make sure we received the Tux that we were looking for. She was dedicated to helping me alone the entire time I was in the store (well over 30 minutes). I'm a large man and it took more than one fitting to get everything just right. She listened well and knew exactly what to grab next based on my feedback. My wife and I were very impressed with her professionalism. Other customers, mostly young men renting a tux/suit for their Proms, appeared to be getting the same 1st rate service from the employees assisting them. I will never buy another suit from Men's Warehouse. The construction is horrible and the craftsmanship is non-existent. The seams are coming apart after wearing it only once. The brand, Pronto Nuovo Platinum which is made in Mexico cost me $230 for the coat and $120 for the pants. $350 for a suit that is not worth $100. And don't get me started about how much their socks, shoes and ties cost. Buyer Beware! That being said, the salesman was very nice and helpful, so there is that! read more

He was going to a wedding and the two provided options between his and my suggestions/directions! Very nice staff, super informative on different brands, color combos, and how to make the whole look perfect! Absolutely great experience and I think we may have to stick to this location! My friend is super prepped for his high end event! Also almost forgot, we made an appointment and we're informed the tailor was out of town for a bit. My friends event is in late September, but they provided us with a date for pick up in 2 weeks which is ample time to fix anything should be need something changed! As father of the bride, I needed a suit. 1-1/2 hrs to measure. Then shirt not available for the time (had to buy one). Two days before wedding, pants were 4" too small in waist, and 1-1/2" too short. Total remeasurement; another hour. Two hours before ceremony, the new pants were still 1-1/2 too short (another 45-min) and hugely baggy, and the coat had no life left in it. It hung on me with wrinkled seams. The closeup pictures look terrible. Manager Dan tried valiently, but the factory obviously failed multiple times. Several from wedding party had similar issues at a different store. I wasn't going to post this, but upon return, after paying the whole bill, the cerk told me I had to pay $22 more. When they saw the look on my face, they credited it. (Another 15-min). read more

The sales person has the worst personality, very unhelpful. I purchased suit for years ago at the time they told me that they would have me in the system. I do not need to save the receipt and they could find me with my name and phone number they did find me and my suit and I'll get alterations and everything that I paid for. They told me it's lifetime guarantee on alteration, but they would not want to alter that honor that they kept wanting to charge me but I argued with them that it's lifetime guarantee on alteration, they kept giving me the runaround just for a simple fix. Came in a couple of days ago to get my son a suit for his first wedding ever and was immediately greeted by Diana! Super sweet and immediately guided us to find the perfect suit for him and even explained what to look for in a suit. She paid attention to the littlest details, even down to the pokemon shirt he was wearing to which she complimented. My son usually has difficulty shopping and picking out clothes, but she made it a breeze! My son was immediately comfortable and left excited to wear what she picked out for the wedding. I literally went to 10 places before coming here, asking tailors for their advice on a wedding outfit I had and no one could give me good advice and color coordinate. Gavin knew exactly what to do and had some really good ideas which made the outfit perfect! He was very knowledgeable and man he has style.
