I could not be more pleased with my husband's suit we rented for our son's wedding. I was initially worried because I'm a worry wart ...but the quality of suit and Jannaes measuring were both excellent. The pick up date - was two days early which was great - giving us time to get another if there was a snafu . I have to say DEVIN provided the best customer service I have had in a long long time . He would not allow us to leave until he made certain we were 100% pleased with the suit . The Vera Wang suit in medium navy blue made my 70 plus year old husband feel and look like a million bucks - As far as value and cost - whatever it was it was well worth it. The first red flag was when the young man who offered to help me asked his boss what taupe meant. She told me they don't have any taupe slacks and offered me some other options that didn't appeal to me at all. I'm so disappointed I drove a half an hour to get here only to find such limited inventory. Men's Wearhouse (in another state) used to be a really nice place to do my shopping, but that doesn't appear to be the case in Silverdale. Navy families stay away! Unfortunately the experience at this location was less than stellar. Went in with my sailor fiancé to look at options for our wedding (buy or rent). Our main concern was him, but the sales rep was very concerned with getting our whole bridal party's rental selection down, when we said a couple times we don't really care about them yet, let's figure the grooms suit out first. But no, ok, let's put down everyone's name on a piece of paper and fill out 1 of 8 options for rentals even though we weren't sure yet we cared to have them rent. Is it time for the groom to try on a few suits now? And see the full ensemble put together and get a better idea of what look we want to go for? Oh no, he can only slide on a few jackets on the show floor? To make the decision for a bowtie or tie, just hold a box with a bow tie up to his neck while he is wearing a normal shirt with jacket on. That will really give you an idea of the look your going for and he'll make the decision :) sarcasm for those who could not read it. While we were in the middle of talking with our rep, another, older male, sales rep came up (hope he isn't the manager, because he was terrible) and asked our rep what he was doing, because an older couple had walked in and might need help...guess we didn't matter and looked liked garbage and weren't worth the effort or time, and our rep shouldn't be helping us...I'm so confused by that interaction... Basically at the end they asked us for $40 to put our names, and party names in the computer to hold our "rental designs" that we weren't even sure we wanted. "But we would have to go through this selection all over again if you don't"...Because it would be SUCH a hassle to write down 1 of the 8 rentable suits again on a piece of paper with a red tie selection and brown shoes. eye roll. By that point I was done. I was so turned off by the experience, what was supposed to be a fun afternoon of us finding his wedding suit, was just an uncomfortable time and not at all what we wanted to do. I attempted to buy a suit here. After purchasing the suit and receiving it back from the tailor it no longer fit correctly. I brought it to my tailor who told me the suit was a total loss and could not be fixed. I then brought it back to the store attempting to get a larger suit and take advantage of the companies 90 day guarantee. They attempted to blame the suit fit on my build and refused to honor their 90 day policy until I was seen by a master tailor in Tacoma. I asked them to define a master tailor for me and they told me it was "someone who has been a tailor for years." I told them my tailor has been doing this for over 20 years but they still wouldn't honor their guarantee. I called the Tacoma location before even leaving the parking lot and they confirmed that the store was in the wrong and that I was owed a new suit without even seeing it based on the word of my tailor. Lessons Learned: -men's warehouses are suppose to have in house tailors...if they don't then don't buy -don't let them try to tell you it's how you're built because it's not -the people at this location do not know how to do measurements or chalk for tailoring -DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION If I could rate this as zero stars I would. Horrible experience all around. We are newly engaged. We went into men's ware house and just wanted to get an idea of what colors we wanted our groomsmen to wear. We were in there for about an hour. We wandered around for about 45 minutes before anyone even asked us if we needed help. Then when they found out when our wedding date was we were greeted with attitude and judgement. All we were there to do was get a color scheme for our wedding. We came in contact with 3 employees during our visit and all were extremely rude, unhelpful and condescending. We most definitely will NOT be using men's warehouse nor will we be recommending them to anyone. read more

Clearly, I wasn't the one in need of suits or anything, but my husband does. He was a frequent shopper when he was single so he racked up this enormous purchase history so every time my husband gives them his name, they can see what he has bought in the last few years. I enjoy seeing the look on their faces when they look him up and then the complete attitude change (not that the employees are completely snobby or anything) from normal to above and beyond. We're having our belated wedding ceremony and reception this summer so we needed to have tuxedos for our 2 groomsmen, dads from both families, and my younger brother who will be an usher. The lady helping us was very courteous and professional and was easy to set up our group since everyone is scattered around the US and they can walk in to any Men's Wearhouse to take measurements. We also found this cute tuxedo set for our almost 3-year-old "nephew" who'll be the ring-bearer; we ended up getting that for free since my husband had a $50 credit on his account and the tux set was on sale for $35. Win! Definitely the go-to place when my hubby needs clothes and we highly recommend it! read more

I needed a suit, I didn't want to spend forever trying to pick one out, so I wanted someone who actually knew his business. I went to Men's Wearhouse hoping they were up to all the hype. Wow, I was so glad I did. John took charge and got me what I needed. He did the big part I really hate - he searched the racks for my size and color. I started feeling guilty about being waited on like some rich guy. I'm don't give out five-star interviews anymore unless there is something better than I expect. This place fits the bill. I go to church once a year with my mom because I'm just that type of a guy. This year I wanted to go all out and actually dress for the occasion. As I am of the species Perpetuous Procrastinus and I had imbibed a little too much the night before, I had a half hour to get a new suit from head to toe while suffering from a hangover. This was my cherry-popppin' suit purchase. I don't wear suits. I consider myself fortunate that I haven't had a job where a Value Village white shirt and tie wouldn't suffice as a uniform. I don't want to turn this into a rant, but who in the hell thought of ties? They are absurd! Anyway, the place was busy, which shocked me because it didn't occur to me that Sunday afternoon is probably the best time to come in and plan one's wedding attire needs. I got lucky, though and Dan came to my aid within minutes of entering. Okay, here's why a place that I would prefer doesn't exist merits five stars in my book. In a word: DAN. This guy could have jacked me to the moon. I felt like carp, I didn't want to be there, and I had twenty-eight minutes to go before zero hour. This likely puts me the category of the typical high-maintenance dewsh that they encounter on a near-daily basis. But that hangover I mentioned earlier? That wasn't just something only I was experiencing. Earlier, I had been ejected from my hotel room by a phone call at 1:30 pm telling me that I was well over the allowable checkout time and needed to vacate or pay for another day. I opted for the former and had to forego a shower. Since my drink of choice is bourbon and I was sweating bullets trying to be on time for this once-a-year event for my mom.... well, let's just say it could have been a pleasant olfactory experience for Dan. But he was a pro. No mention of the booze/curry/sweat potpurri I sending out to the world AND he got me out of there in the requisite time and right on budget. We came in here about a week before we were going to get married (we eloped, so clearly a short time schedule) to pick out something for him to wear. He had never owned a suit before and I had little knowledge of men's suits, so we decided to go somewhere where they'd know what they were doing. The staff did a great job of letting us browse us a bit before asking if we needed help. It was just the perfect amount of time to let the hubby figure out he probably could use a helping hand. Once approached, our salesperson was fabulous. He was patient with the hubby who cracked a lot of jokes and had no real clue what he was looking for. He showed us some great options and gave honest opinions on what he thought would be appropriate. While the hubby was trying on the suit, the salesperson took a glimpse at a picture of my dress and helped me pick out a few options for ties that would match and explained to me the basic principles behind picking out ties. Not only was it useful for this one time, but it was knowledge I can use in the future. The staff here was all around great and weren't high-pressure sales type people. They were all extremely knowledgeable and aware of the product they had on staff. We were on a tight schedule and they had no problem bumping up the tailoring to a bit earlier than normal. Also, they were very understanding and helpful when I returned for the suit instead of the hubby due to schedules. I would highly recommended this place to any man shopping for a suit who needs some help. It has been years since I shopped for a suit so my knowledge of suits and tailoring is a bit rusty. I walked in. A sales rep (Aaron) asked me if I needed help. I looked at him and said only one word -- "suit". The rest was history. Within 30 minutes I tried on a beautiful Calvin Klein suit, had the tailor lady do a bunch of jazz, and came out of the store with a leather jacket, 2 sets of shirts/ties and a pair of dress shoes. Luck-have-it-be, I went to Ted Brown music to pick up some music supplies, then lunch a few doors down at The Dave's Famous Ribs place. As I headed towards the restaurant, I saw The Men's Wearhouse across the parking lot, and suits were only 50% off, so I thought it was my lucky day. Headed inside and was helped by Nick. All of the staff is great and very patient. Like the previous reviewer, I bought a Calvin Klein suit that was tailored in-house. If you never tried on a Cal, you are really missing out. These guys really know their stuff and make the process of buying a suit really carefree. Since I moved out-of-state, my bank where I came from had issues with my checkcard, and the whole time the staff were very patient as I got the bank to resolve things after about 2 hours. They even put my suit aside as I resolved the matter, going even further offering to hold the suit for me for 3 days if needed. These guys define class, style and how business should be done. If you go elsewhere for a suit, you are missing out on a great buying experience. read more

Came into the store on a Saturday with a suit needed by Monday!! My husband found out his first day of work (and only his first day) required a suit. Randy helped us find the perfect suit. They could have the pants hemmed by the next day but not the sleeves which would take a bit longer. I had planned to hem the sleeves myself and Shawn the tailor saw the distress in my face and told us he would make sure the sleeves were done by them the following day. We could not have been happier!! They were both so professional and we can't say enough nice things about the whole experience. We used this location for our wedding for suit rentals. The measuring and order process was great. It all went downhill at the first fitting. My husbands jacket was way too big. They told us they would have to order it up from their California warehouse and we would have to come back in a few days to pick it up. Now mind you, we live over an hour away. Well they call us the day the jacket is supposed to arrive and say it didn't make it on the truck. Then they tell us we will have to drive there THE MORNING OF OUR WEDDING to pick it up. Thankfully we have a big family and someone was willing to get up early and make the drive. They offered my family member gas money for having to make the 1+ hour drive (one way) to pick up the jacket. Guess how much they gave her... $5. $5! In what world is $5 a sufficient amount for a 1+ hour drive - one way?! The jacket finally fit as it should have in the first place. Moral of the story - don't use this place. read more

My son needed a tux rental for his high school prom. I went in to get prices. They offered to measure him and said we could rent the tux online and it would be shipped to us. We gave up trying to order it online, the website kept glitching, an absolutely trash website. I went back in with the measurements to order the tux. They told me that my son had to be there to try things on. This is NOT what they said when I took him in to get him measured. I asked what the point was of making the drive to come in and get measurements if they then couldn't use them to order a tux. I get that it's better to try things on in person but that isn't always practical, and they had no interest in taking my business to order a tux with the measurements THEY TOOK AND RECORDED on a Men's Wearhouse rental profile card. I said I would take my business elsewhere and the woman at the register gave a smurk and offered a very sarcastic farewell. I will not rent/buy from these people. They seem to think that with few options in the rental market that they can get away with treating customers like trash. I'm taking my son to Nordstrom Rack. We'll buy what he needs for less money and get better service. read more

I've shopped at Men's Wearhouse for years in many different locations throughout Washington State. My experience with the Silverdale location is in relation to a suit as a part of a wedding party. My initial experience with the sales reps was awesome. They were fast, attentive to my questions and downright friendly. I felt like I was their only concern while I was in there. My slacks had been measured for alteration and a suit jacket they didn't have in stock was ordered with a promise to call upon its arrival. After about 2 weeks and no word I called the store leaving a detailed message about my situation, name, cell phone # and everything they should need to follow up with me about where my suit jacket was. 3 days later no callback. I decided to call back in and was placed on hold several times before somehow my suit jacket magically appeared. They did apologize for the lack of response but I'm now three weeks out from the wedding and have been told they are on a 14 day delay for tailoring said jacket. I hope that I have my tailored suit in hand in time for the wedding but seeing that I first went to their store over 6 weeks prior to the wedding date I figured I'd eliminated "hoping" from the equation. A little better follow up with the clients could go a long way. read more

I took my 15 year old son in to get a suit for his upcoming Ball. I did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly pleased by the level of expertise and over the top customer service we received! This place is awesome! The staff were courteous and worked well with my son (he's a little shy). I originally came in to rent a suit but they were able to take such great care of us that I made the investment and purchased one. My husband was working and unable to go with us which I honestly was a little nervous about. The Gentleman and young lady that helped us Jon and Alanna, made sure he was properly styled and took care of throwing in a few extras, we got a great deal! Just about the only place my husband shops now! We have gone in for a couple of suit fittings, color selection (for our wedding), new jeans, you name it. Although everyone is very professional and treat us great, we always try to go when the manager is there. Unfortunately, I wish I could remember his name. BUT, all the same, he has provided us with FANTASTIC service whenever we go in, and always seems to remember us, even when we first started coming in. I've been to a couple other Men's Wearhouses, and this one by far is my favorite. They may not have as wide of a selection as Lynnwood, but they make up for it in service. read more

I took my son to p/u his tux this morning to avoid the crowds this afternoon and evening. We arrived about 20 minutes before the store opened. There were several others doing the same thing, and to my surprise, the store was already open! As a former business owner, nothing drives me crazier than to see employees behind locked doors, not willing to provide service because the business hours said as such! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and received excellent service. There were probably 10 guys in the store, and I didn't see any one waiting for help.
