Small premium prime rib - about 8 thin slices & vege bowl with udon noodles at the base.
    What's For Linner ?.

Novice to hot pot- tried the following soup bases: Sukiyaki- mild, slightly sweet and savory, good all around when you are looking for neutral flavor. Doenjang- earthy and closer to miso flavor Tom Yum- perfect sweet, sour, and spicy. Flavorful in all the good ways. Provided bowl of veges/small block of tofu and udon noodles at the base of the bowl. Was not aware it was refillable. Burners automatically turn off, ours turned off before done. Meats- ordered large premium beef belly $35.00/plate with about 12 thin slices and small premium rib eye $30.00/plate with about 8 thin slices. No meat/Vege bowl- only veges that may normally come with meal was $20.00 Side came with sesame sauce, ground fresh onions, ground fresh garlic, and a bit of sliced green onions. Ordered Original Crispy Wings $12.00, they forgot about the order and remembered at the end of the meal. Total meal = $138.00 + tip = $159.00 Service- one attendant and another who served food items. Often not visible- in the back. Did come out and attentive when checking in. Ambiance- small, quaint place, not too busy around 4pm.

Had the Combination banh mi and matcha coffee. The banh mi were great, the bread was light and the meats were fresh. I never had matcha cofee before , it was strong and I can taste the matcha flavor really well . First time here since they changed the menu . A+

I wanted to have Korean bbq, buttttt! We found a gem in Redlands. The service was great. The people were very friendly and helpful in suggesting how we should cook our veggies. Also what sauces to mix in order to get the best of our experience. I'm also pretty big on music so that was also another plus! They played really good music. lol I was dancing and singing the whole time I was eating. It was fantastic. I had the pork broth and medium heat. It was the perfect amount of spice! Everything was fresh! The veggies the meat was fantastic. I got the rib eye! Soooo good! We'll definitely be coming again! Thanks guys!

The service was friendly and very accommodating for our party of about 10 ppl. They did have us a waiting awhile, but they were generous to give us a few bottles of Soju and a birthday cheesecake slice for our friend on the house. The food was worth the wait. The ambiance is very social. Small indoor space. Would recommend. Great flavor with my food. * Tom Yum: 4/5 * Meokja Assorted Mushroom and Tofu Platter: 4/5 * Ramen Noodles: 4/5

Meokja Shabu Shabu is a decent option, especially since there aren't many shabu spots in the area. It's pretty similar to Mokkoji in terms of setup and selection. The ingredients were solid, but the prices felt a bit on the higher side for an a la carte shabu experience. One thing to note is the $15 per person charge if you don't order your own meat or share a meat platter.

Had lunch here today with my daughter, who has been here before and highly recommended it. The restaurant is clean, simply decorated; with table and counter high seating. For my meal, I chose the sukiyaki broth with medium spice level and as the protein opted for the beef belly ($25 for small/10 pieces). It came with a bowl filled with a variety of vegetables (including spinach, bok choy, mushrooms, Napa cabbage & more!), tofu, and noodles. Their house garlic sauce is delicious (and I am not really a garlic fan). Employee was warm, helpful and friendly. He was attentive and checked up on us often.

First time trying this and it was pretty good. The ambiance- upon arrival it was so hard to see where the place was at first because there was no sign light up or anything like that so it was pretty dark to really notice where the place was, you would basically have to really look for the name and hope it was that. When you walk inside thought it's bright and small with the bar in the middle and tables to your left. The place was pretty welcoming but I wish that they really thought of the seating arrangement. They have on table that's pretty weird in the front of the pace where it fits 4 people but with only two burners in across one person and there was not burner for the person that was sitting away from everyone . We had to switch tablets to be closer to my party which it was very generous of them to allow us to do so. Service- the service was subpar. They were really nice and helpful since it was our first time trying this location out. We made sure to order what we wanted but there was a moment where they brought out everything we ordered except our drinks . It wasn't busy enough for them to forget something like that from the order. But either then that they were pretty good at making sure we have a good experience . Now time to discuss about the Food!. Now the food was ok , it wasn't the best but it was good for what it's worth. I had something similar to this place called makoji. The meat was some good cuts which we were hoping they have an option to marinate the meat to add extra flavor to the soup. Now the soup two people in my party had the medium miso soup and both said it was not even spicy enough for them. The broth tasted pretty bland for our taste but the thought that you would have to add spicy drops to the soup to make the "Medium" spicy miso to taste spicy is interesting no to me. The lemonade was very refreshing and delicious! Either than that it the food was ok . Thanks for the meal though . We will try it again soon to see if we'll have a better experience .

On walking into the restaurant, you're immediately blasted in the face by the cold air conditioning. Make sure to bring a jacket with you because it's quite chilly. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Thursday evening during dinner (5pm). Our server was prompt and eager to get us started on the menu. Saw they offered a seafood platter which includes lobster tail, but I wasn't too keen on it. There was a slightly off, old seafood smell that was lingering in the dining area. We ordered the regular meat platter, mushroom platter, and got the split hot pot so we could try the sukiyaki broth and the miso broth. Presentation of the food was nice, but I got the sense they are trying to go for a premium experience with cheaper ingredients. Standard cook your own food in the broth. Both were not overly salted and mild flavored. I had a few mushrooms that tasted super bitter which was unfortunate. I've had nicer mushroom platters that were full of delicious variety at Little Sheep or Hai Di Lao. Sadly, the meat is sliced paper thin, making it hard to pick up. Often threw ripped bits and bobs of it into the broth, which after being cooked would be better served in a stir fry. Overall, your this is standard a la cart shabu spot. For $160 plus tax and tip, we left full but unsatisfied by the quality and cost. Pros: They are generous with their veggies and rice. Both are refillable upon request. Cons: Thin meat slices. As my husband's broth got low, they didn't come to refill his side. We did request but they forgot. By the time they remembered we were done with our meal. I hope they can improve the off-seafood smell that lingers in the dining area.

There is so much to like about the brewery, and so much this place has to offer that I can only ask that you experience it yourself. To name a few highlights of the brewery... first of all it is one of the more chill places to go to. The ambiance of Ritual Brewery is casual, friendly, and welcoming. The staff here are all awesome! They have a nice size indoor and outdoor seating area for visitors. They are family and dog friendly. They have a new brew for everyone to discover and enjoy. My personal favorite is the Extra Red. I tried just about their whole menu over some time and at least half-a-dozen visits before deciding which one was my favorite. Moreover, if you walk in looking for a specific kind of beer, you might as well go pick that beer up at the store and stay out. This brewery is a place to experience and appreciate new beers. Many of their beers are IPAs, Ales, Pale Ales, and Blondes. Check out the picture of their menu to get a better idea of all that they have. Not to mention, they have very reasonable prices for their drinks compared to probably most breweries - so don't be a Sorry Sue and complain about how the prices for a beer is expensive and that only the soda is good - but you had the nerve to visit 10 times. Oh! Also, there is often an excellent food vendor there most nights, so you can get a meal with your drink. CHEERS!

Hey Brian, I wanted…read moreto reach out about something that happened tonight that I feel you should know about. I also want to be clear that all of this transpired after you had already left for the evening. For context, I'm a regular at the bar and have been coming in for quite a while. I've never had a major issue with Brent or Steven, even though they both have personalities that can come across as sarcastic or abrasive. I've generally let it go because my reason for coming to the bar is simple: I come in to have a few beers, relax, and enjoy myself. Tonight, while I was still drinking one of my beers and had some left in the glass, Brent came by and took it away as if I was finished. I jokingly said something along the lines of, "I guess you're not going to let me finish the last bit." I wasn't upset and wasn't trying to start an argument. It was an obvious mistake that could have been solved with a simple apology. Instead, he responded with a snarky comment rather than acknowledging the mistake. Later, he brought another beer to my table. I made eye contact with him and before I could even say anything, he asked, "Do you want to say something to me?" I replied, "No, I just wanted to say thank you." His response was, "Your eyes are telling me differently." Again, I found that unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. At that point, I decided to leave a $0 tip. I normally tip very well, often around 30% or more, and this was the first time I've intentionally left no tip because I wanted to send a message that I was unhappy with the way I was being treated. After that, Steven came over and confronted me about leaving no tip. He asked if I was really zeroing it out and questioned me about whether something had happened between me and Brent. I told him that whatever issue I had was not his concern, and he responded, "Fair enough." I assumed that would be the end of it. Instead, Brent came outside and confronted me. He told me Steven had said I had a problem with him. I explained that I didn't have a personal problem with him; my issue was his attitude and the way he was treating me as a customer. Rather than listening, he became increasingly hostile. I reminded him that I'm a customer and that I'm only there to buy beer from the business. I'm not there to deal with sarcasm, attitude, or an employee's emotions. As a paying customer, the minimum I expect is basic respect. I shouldn't have to walk on eggshells or accept being spoken to disrespectfully while simply trying to enjoy a beer. That confrontation ended poorly and he went back inside. A short time later, he came back out and confronted me again, this time in front of other customers. The situation became even more uncomfortable because it was happening publicly. During that exchange, he ultimately told me that I was not welcome back. Again, I reminded him that I am a paying customer whose only purpose in being there is to support the business and enjoy a beer. I should not be getting into arguments with employees, being confronted in front of other patrons, or being told I'm not welcome because I expressed concerns about how I was being treated. The bigger issue is that, in my opinion, this isn't just about tonight. This has been months in the making. I've noticed a pattern with both Brent and Steven where they seem to have become comfortable treating customers with attitude and sarcasm in ways that shouldn't be acceptable in a customer-facing role. I've overlooked it many times because I enjoy the bar and didn't think it was worth making an issue out of. On the other hand, employees like Kim, Josh, and David have always treated me and other customers with professionalism and respect. They know how to joke around while still making customers feel welcome. I've never had an issue with them. From my perspective, the problem is specifically Brent and, to a lesser extent, Steven. Brent especially has developed a demeanor that I find unwelcoming, confrontational, and disrespectful toward customers. I don't think I'm the only person who feels this way. Tonight was simply the point where it crossed a line. I'm not sending this because I want anyone fired or punished. I simply think you should know what happened, especially since it all occurred after you had left. I've spent a lot of time and money at your establishment over the years, and I would hope that customers--especially regulars--can expect basic courtesy and respect from the people serving them. I wanted to give you my side of the story directly. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

The folks/beertenders were very friendly and you can tell they're enthusiastic about craft beer and the craft beer community. At the time of my visit, I noticed some cans from some of my favorite breweries in the LA and SD area. The place feels like a craft beer oasis in that it's a bit of a destination and I'm not sure what else is around. Although, to be fair, I don't live in the immediate area and don't really know the area that well in terms of craft beer offerings. Definitely a spot I would like to frequent. There seemed to be plenty parking when I went. Not sure if it get's really crowded when some more of the surrounding businesses are open, but I had plenty of spaces to chose from.
