We came by for lunch and we each ordered a different dish. Their portion size is big!!! I had V2 - Charbroiled Pork bowl with vermicelli (my all time favorite dish). This could be the old Noodle 21 spot. Ordered to-go recently through DoorDash. Super quick to pickup and they've always packed our order up quite neatly. Prices on the soup noodles bowls are comparable to other pho spots around Redlands, ranging between $16.45 - $16.95 for a regular bowl, and $17.45 - $17.95 for a large bowl. If you're just needing a large bowl of hot soup and rice noodles, it's $9.50 plus tax. The regular sized bowl is $8.50 plus tax. Your order comes with a small bag of fresh bean sprouts, basil, cut limes, and chopped green onion/cilantro. Plenty of Hoisin sauce and spicy chili sauce are also provided along with utensils. The broth is quite comforting. Garnished with thinly sliced white onions and not too salty, not very sweet. Many other pho spots around town are heavy on the salt and add so much sugar to "balance" it. After taking those home, I have had to water it down a bit. Pho Viet makes theirs just right. If I have extra broth, I save it to rewarm and sip in a mug. Saw they also have a wide menu to choose from for dry noodle bowls (vermicelli bowls), rice plates, rice/egg noodle soups, appetizers, and vegetable dishes. Not sure if the vegetable dishes are also vegan. I'd love to try out their sandwiches sometime. Wonder if they bake their own bread, too. Horrible experience--honestly the worst I've had here, which is shocking because this wasn't my first time dining here. The food has always been just okay, but I've never dealt with this server before or had anything like this happen. Multiple items in our order were completely wrong: I ordered shrimp pho and received beef, shrimp spring rolls came with pork, and our egg rolls didn't arrive until the end of the meal. I was also charged extra for boba in my Thai tea after being told they were out. I stayed polite through all of it, but when I simply asked for a drink refill, another server rudely refused with a nasty attitude. At that point, I requested a refund for the drink my child didn't even drink due to the mistake--also refused. When I asked to speak to the owner, communication was difficult and the situation escalated, with staff arguing instead of resolving the issue. Only after a long back-and-forth did they refund the drink--something that should've been handled immediately. The way this was handled was unacceptable. I've left plenty of positive reviews in the past, but this experience deserves to be shared. Here at the new pho viet, I experienced amazing service, really giant portions of food (especially for the fair pricing), and great Thai tea. When you first walk into the restaurant, it has nice natural lighting due to the large glass windows. We weren't greeted upon entering and after standing for a minute we decided to seat ourselves. I ordered chicken noodle pho with egg noodle, the broth was more on the warm side vs hot, but the egg noodles were slightly firmly and had a good bite to it! Chicken was cut thinly and easy to eat. The egg rolls were slightly overcooked. There was a burnt taste to them but with the dipping sauce it was fine.
