This is for a random new "pet" shop that I went to. They have birds and turtles and baby chicks. It seems like the method of transportation is inhumane and poorly done. I saw them restocking baby chicks in a cage and they were grabbing them out of a PAPER BAG. I'm not sure if they even take good care of them but there was like 20 chicks in the bag. This place should get shut down.

One corner of the Mercado. 3 food stalls are pictured here, there are a total of 7.

Immerse yourself within aisles of colorful, brilliantly decorated vendor stalls. Lively music and joyful chatter welcomes you through your journey within the Mercado de Los Cielos. A hidden gem within the Desert Sky Mall, the Mercado offers a variety of consumer goods at a discounted price. Clothing, electronics, jewelry, and shoes are a few of the highlights from my Mercado visits. Each time I make my way through the Mercado, new advancements and installments help to pave the way for busy commerce. It is easy to strike up a pleasant conversation with the jovial workers. Vendors are always willing to bargain if the price is right. Without a doubt, my favorite aspect of the Mercado is the abundant and gracious food court. Over 7 different food stalls serve a plethora of tasty cuisines, catering to every appetite. Authentic Mexican cuisine can be fully explored.

Went there on Satruday to see if I could get my screen replaced on my new ipad mini 5th gen that I had dropped a month ago and cracked my screen. I Visited "CellMart & Repairs" (Space P-5 by foodcourt) to get a quote on the screen itself because everything else worked fine. The owner told me he could do it for 150$ but he only had the opposite color (white) and I agreed cause it wasnt much of a difference. Told me come back in an hour and itll be ready. Before I left he made me turn it on so I did and unlock it and I thought nothing of it. When I come back he is not there but walks up 5 minutes later with my ipad in hand as if still working on it. He tells me "my screens are not working I tried a couple and nothing" then shows me it wont turn on with the new screen on it. I wasnt sure what to respond and he suggested I go to another place and see. I said ok. He then removes the new screen and puts my old screen on, which is more damaged than I had dropped it off, within 5 minutes . I try to turn it on and it no longer turns on and he just says try somewhere else. I wasnt sure what to think getting my item back worse then i dropped it off with him and not being able to fix it at that moment. Mind you also left his blood on the back of it and I didnt notice until I went to the next spot in the same area. So I went to another spot (Q1) and told them my situation and he told me they would attempt to replace the screen and see if it works and if it doesnt then he wouldnt charge me 160$. I told them ok and returned in an hour. I got bad news and he said that my ipad wasnt fixable, "whoever worked on it last did not turn it off and fried the electrical components inside" I was in shocked and had him repeat himself and said I couldnt fix it from there. He gave me a card and said if I had other electronics he can help me with to reach out. I was beyond upset I went back to confront the owner Mamun at p-5 and also recorded and he had nothing to say other than he was sorry. He damaged my ipad to where I couldnt fix it anymore when all it needed was a new screen. I dont recommend ever!

this photo shows the police arriving to the scene.

The last time someone in my family went here they saw someone bleed out and die of a gunshot wound. 0/10 would not recommend. The food is ok tho.

OMG!!! I couldn't believe all the stuff they have at this place! The food, the candy, the booths with all kinds of stuff! It might not be a true Mexican Mercado but it comes very close to it. The only thing we have to complain about would be the bathrooms, but that's probably not the place's fault...some people still need lessons on basic hygiene and manners.

This was not what I was expecting to see. I was completely expecting to see a grocery store and BAM... to my surprise, it was like walking into an indoor, Mexican bazaar with individual vendors. They had quite a variety of vendors, from food to telephone service, portrait studios and clothing, and everything in between. It's not my cup of tea, but I figured I'd post this so that others do not get blindsided like me!

This is like an indoor swap meet. Lots of small vendor stalls selling the usual assortment of Chinese made goods. There are though decent leather works to be had if you have the money for them. There are some vendors with Mexican versions of american products that can be acquired for cheaper here. The best part of this place is browsing around with snacks as they have two mini food courts. It's right in/connected to the mall so it's really convenient.

There was also great music and really good cash bar making some excellent cocktails. It was a free event. The cocktails were $9 apiece... decent value. I also sometimes meet up with friends or family or even head there on my own. There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do; however, some of my favorite stores and restaurants have closed and been replaced over the years. It also happens to be where my wife and I had our first date! The Biltmore Fashion Park is known for some great restaurants. While there are some upscale and casual restaurants there, my favorites include Seasons 52 or True Food for a good meal and Frost a Gelato Shoppe for dessert. I really enjoy having several Fox restaurants at the Biltmore. There are also many other restaurants in the area. Several of the restaurants have great happy hours, too. I miss the Crepe Club though several other restaurants have opened since then. There are also plenty of shops from upscale shops to more casual ones like Lululemon and Sakes 5th Avenue. There are fancy clothing stores that my wife may enjoy though I typically enjoy the nice courtyard or seating outside some of the stores while she shops. Then, we grab a bite somewhere together. I miss the Apple Store and Sharper Image but look forward to what is opened next. There are also experiences from the Sip & Stroll (where you can enjoy a beverage from one of six restaurants and then walk around), meet-up with the Phoenix Run Club, the Art Walk, the Swiftie Liftie Outdoor Workout Class, or one of a number of galas or special events. Find more details on what is coming up at the Biltmore Fashion Park at https://www.reddevelopment.com/biltmore-fashion-park/events. While stores and restaurant hours may vary, the hours are typically 10 AM to 8 PM daily except for Sundays from 12 Noon to 6 PM. There is plenty of free parking around the Biltmore Fashion Park along with valet options. I like that this mall has high end stores but it also has stores for everyone else. There's a food court and a movie theater, too. Some of my favorite stores include Sephora, Lululemon, VS/VS Pink, and Jo Malone. I don't come very often even though it's less than 10 minutes from work. The parking situation is usually a nightmare and the traffic around the mall doesn't help. I feel like it's congested everywhere around the mall all the time. I do stop in once in a great while if I really need something. It's very clean and they are always opening new stores. The food court has a pretty good selection of cuisines, but if you're looking for anything fancy, you won't find it there. If parking was a breeze, I would probably come in more often, but I guess that's a good thing, lol. Happy shopping!

We enjoyed the variety of stores and restaurants, both inside the mall and in the surrounding area, so there are plenty of shopping and dining options to choose from. The mall itself was clean, spacious, and a nice place to escape the summer heat. During our visit, we noticed there was quite a bit of construction taking place. Because of that, some areas of the mall were temporarily inaccessible, and a few elevators and escalators were out of service. While it was a minor inconvenience, it didn't take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a pleasant visit and would return. Once the construction is complete, I'm sure the shopping experience will be even better.

After my vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run in the Kierland Commons parking lot, by a member of the cleaning staff, I left Mr. Kea a voicemail on Saturday, July 18, requesting a return call regarding the incident. Instead, I had to flag down an employee driving a golf cart just to locate the security office myself. The lack of follow-up and assistance during a situation involving property damage is unacceptable. Additionally, the parking lot design is extremely narrow, making it difficult to navigate safely and increasing the risk of accidents. I hope Kierland Commons takes both customer and employee safety more seriously and improves its response to incidents like this in the future.
