Just picked up my car but was hugely surprised and disappointed that its MB B1 service doesn't include Brake Fluid Exchange, which is required by any B1 service maintenance schedule and provided by any provider. The service advisor was pretty friendly in the entire process, and that was what I heard from my friend who referred me to this place and the reason I went to them for services. I think Mercedez Garage should really clarify upfront what it includes for the B1 service because Brake Fluid Exchange is one of the key components of the B1 services. read more

I needed some exterior trim pieces replaced on an older G Class, and had already been turned down by a few of locations (including AutoNation MB of Bellevue) because of the age of the vehicle and the headaches that old, rusted hardware can bring. Park Place stepped up to the challenge and delivered a home run with a short turn-around and a very reasonable price. So caring, so curious, so PASSIONATE about cars, I was blown away by this superstar Park Place hired to take care of their Mercedes customers. Shabi was pumped to see the 73 Benz, telling me how excited the recently-certified-on-classics technician was to look under the hood. She told me how we're going to communicate together (what?!?!) and I left like I just loaned the car to my best friend. I've been taking my car here for years. Adam was awesome and always knowledgeable and awesome customer service calling with regular reliable updates. The past two weeks have me in disbelief. New service manager and it was been like pulling teeth to get any updates, not to mention a call returned. It took three business days (6 calendar due to holiday weekend) to get it looked at and an estimate, then another 4 business days (6 calendar)to get it repaired. Two weeks with out a car isn't cheap or easy and it really felt like there was no priority or sense of urgency to help my situation. Some folks might not have had the best experiences in the past with Park Place but I can assure you that the Mercedes garage is the place where you can take your MBs. I had been deferring a few small repairs on my 2008 E320 Bluetec, but when my driver's door lock went out, I knew I had to get it repaired right away (it's one of those things that's difficult to ignore). I had been taking the car to the dealer for repairs, but I wanted to see if I could find another shop to care for my aging car. I found MB Garage here on Yelp, and decided to give them a try. Adam really went the extra mile for me; he returned my initial call after hours, and was able to diagnose the problem and give me quote very quickly. I asked him about some paint chips and steering wheel leather repair, and he had Taylor check out the car, too, and quoted me on the spot for these fixes, also. They were able to get my car in quickly, and even gave me shuttle service to work. Both the body shop work and the repair service work were completed in the agreed-upon time, and the prices were very reasonable. Adam and Taylor and their team really made me feel welcome in their shop -- the receptionist even greeted me by name, the second time I came in (thanks, Anastasia!). We are on our 3rd Mercedes with Adam. When in the market for our last car purchase, we briefly considered purchasing something besides a Mercedes, but came back to buying a ML350 because of Adam. He is always more than fair with the work he does and the prices he charges. I have taken my car in a couple of times for Adam to check warning lights. After running diagnostics, that would run hundreds of dollars at the dealer, Adam made a quick fix and sent me on my way without charging me a cent! I will tell you only one thing about Mercedes Garage - I will ALWAYS come back here to have my car worked on. Adam is the most honest mechanic I have ever met! He tells it to you straight and will always come up with options and recommendations. I have an '01 C320 and brought it in for the Service B. My car was doing some funny things and after I brought it in, he told me it needed more than the "Service B". I gave him my budget of $450 + Tax and he said he will do the best he can. He finished my car a full day early and my total was $389 + Tax. I mean, honestly, when you tell a mechanic your budget is $450 - he's going to use all of it. I was so surprised and happy. He changed all of my burned out lamps, as well as a TON of other things just to be nice. I cannot tell you how SATISFIED I am with the Mercedes Garage!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE - THIS IS THE ONLY SHOP TO GO!!! Also, he is the most competitively priced garage in the area - I don't know how he does it...maybe because he has so much repeat and referral clients. Just had a great first experience at Mercedes Garage. One of the items I need replaced was my cup holder...it was stuck and wouldn't open up. Who would have thought that an inoperable cup-holder would really ruin your day. I took it to another shop and was told $400 to replace. Yikes! Mercedes Garage did it for $75. 'nuff said! They also did an oil change and transmission service. They delivered the car as clean as it has been since I purchased it. I'll be going back for my Service G in a few thousand miles. Adam and Jeff at The Mercedes Garage have solely taken care of my 1978 Mercedes 240d (with 300,000 miles) since I purchased it. They always come in on time and on budget. They are more than fair, and I continue to be touched by how much they actually care about me as a person. Their communication skills are as good as the work they do; leave a voice message for Adam, and he always gets back to you within a very reasonable time. Ask him what he repaired, and he will look under the hood with you and patiently explain all the work, and answer all your questions. Nicer, less expensive, and better than the dealer, they are also a small business who strives to earn business by doing good work and always being fair and honest. I'm so grateful to have met them, and to have such a great place to bring my car. I don't think you would see the dealer bending over backward to help you like these guys do. Story: I was about to drive my little old Benz from Seattle to L.A., and something went wrong with it the day before departure. Adam and his team did everything they could and ended up having it all ready for the trek on short notice, right down to a few new bulbs, and washer fluid. They don't miss any details! If you want work done on your Mercedes - Adam is the go-to person. Not only he is extremely knowledgable - he cares about the quality of work. I went into Park Place with a leaky convertible top on my SLK55 AMG. At first - they replaced the seals but since that didnt work - had to replace a piece of the roof too. Adam did a perfect job to fix the leak as these vario-roof leaks are not easy to fix. The price was also extremely reasonable & Adam replaced my faulty cornering light for free as a courtesy gesture. I would definitely go to Park Place for all my future needs on the Merc & other cars as well. Highly recommended. read more

Since I bought the car, I've used MG exclusively. Always fair, always accurate and expert, they wash and vacuum the car every time. Not what they used to be. Their main Mercedes guy is not working with them anymore but they still have his name on their website as ASE certified technician. Took the car in after having misfire codes. Told them it's either wiring harness or the computer. After 3 hours of diagnosis they said they checked the harness. Wire harness is fine so the computer has to be replaced. They quoted over $1000 for a used computer. Agreed to pay. Computer was replaced. Then they came back and said wiring harness is bad too and asked for another $2000. Told them to put the car back together w/o any more work done to the car. They said they would charge me another $750 on top just to put the car back together. Paid $1100 for the computer and towed the car back home while all the parts taken apart dumped in the trunk. Replaced the wiring harness. Now I have multiple computer errors on the dash. The computer has not been properly programmed. I was charged $150 just for programming. Sent an email. They replied they'd give my number to their programming specialist. They never called. read more

There are so many things I loved about my visit. 1. The Park Place itself where MB garage is based. It breathes cars, it's so well designed and inspiring, you have to visit it and just experience. Within 5 miles, you'll get dropped off and picked up in an instant. 3. Service itself and Adam. Unfortunately I haven't talked to Adam much as when I arrived early and picked up car after he left, but even barely talking to him I felt confident. Also, there was a miscommunication over the phone that I was quoted $100 lower then it should be for my services, and Adam said if he promised this price then it's gonna be $100 lower now. Very honest man, got my trust for all of my MB future services. Car was done as promised, and I do feel a difference of changing factory filled fluids with brand new ones. Adding another post. Adam's oil changes are cheaper than discount oil change shops (Jiffy Lube, Oil Can Henry, those places...), where I also have to bring my own oil filter since they don't stock the old car filters and get charged extra for diesel engine oil. I asked Adam why, and he said he was fixing stripped oil plugs and other issues so often, he decided it was actually cheaper for everyone if he incented his customers to come to him. He trys to get us in and out within an hour, so if we call ahead and do some good scheduling, we can have the discount service timing as well. I'm getting used to taking my car in at 4pm mid week and doing email while I wait. Adam uses new oil, compared to discount shops that recycle their oil again and again. Not my idea of qood quality. And, I don't have to pay extra for OEM filters. There continue to be good reasons to take my car to Adam. He's great. read more

Unfortunately after moving or merged or was taken under contract or whatever by those car guys called Park Place he became "precious"... Now you need an appointment to get to speak to him. This is so unlike him or what I was used to be when going over to his place before. The front desk person is also very precious and treats people like wanting them to leave... I have no clue of the fees they charge now but I am quite sure I would be better off at Barrier, where I was treated like a king. I wouldn't spend a dime at Adam's new work place and I'm taking my cash to the dealership. I came to him for a minor fix a couple weeks back, and he could have made it a larger deal than it was. I drove up from San Francisco to attend a conference here in Redmond. The plan was that on my way back I 'd stop over in a few places and meet greet old friends. Got up here in Redmond and suddenly the "Check Engine" light came on!!! thousand miles away from home its not a good feeling. I started looking for a dealer near me who could run the diagnostics. Expecting a minimum of few hundred dollars and some bad news I googled for dealers and comes up a entry for a garage / repair shop. I started looking at the reviews and they were all five stars and rave reviews. I called them up. spoke to Brian G. and he mentioned that they were very busy for the day but will be happy to run the diagnostics and let me know whats wrong. Lunch time I skipped the conference and went looking fir the shop. Got there - Beautiful shop nice and very clean.. (nice restroom also). They ran the tests - clean bill of health and in 30 minutes I was done. We decided I 'll get it fixed when I get home. He got me patched up and I was on my way .. He DID NOT charge me anything for the service and diagnostics. The least I can do is share my experience with these nice folks. They rock!! Adam is the best! I had been taking my 1999 Mercedes E320 4-matic to Adam since he opened in his very first location further down on 20th. I've always been a very happy customer - he is efficient, reasonably priced and most of all, trustworthy. I recently moved to Anchorage, Alaska and had the shock absorbers replaced at an independent shop here in town. They did an inspection and said the car was immaculate and they were so impressed with how well my car was taken care of. The first thought that popped into my head was it was all because Adam did the 200k mile service just before I moved to Alaska. I really miss being able to take my Mercedes to Adam. I want to thank him for all the great work he has done which has allowed me to enjoy my investment for many years and the car is still going strong!
