She sounded…read moreevery bit as good as she did 20 years ago, and the venue turned out to be just as enjoyable as the concert itself. This was our first visit, and it's easy to see why so many artists include it on their summer tour schedules. The surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee area is beautiful, and the venue itself is modern and well laid out. We were under the pavilion roof in reserved seating, but there's lawn seating available too if you're looking for a less expensive option. The sound quality was excellent, and despite the crowd, getting in, finding our seats, and enjoying the evening was all surprisingly easy. Concessions are what you'd expect at a concert venue--plenty of choices, but at concert prices. That's hardly unique these days. What stood out more was how well the Pavilion itself is laid out. It manages to feel intimate enough to connect with the performers while still being large enough to attract major touring acts. As someone with knee issues, I especially appreciated the golf-cart shuttles to and from the remote parking areas. If you're thinking about seeing a show here, I'd encourage it. Sarah McLachlan was amazing, but the venue deserves some of the credit for making it such an enjoyable evening. We'll definitely be back the next time one of our favorite artists comes through Gilford.

I like that there's a good slope, especially on the lawn, so that short people like me can see pretty easily. I can't speak to the food or drink quality since I've never gotten any here, but I will say that there is a nice setup of local places outside the stage area. I've heard the food prices are reasonable, and if you want to enjoy some live music while waiting for your show, there's a smaller stage out there that usually hosts a band prior to the show.

Ever present. Doing the dirty work that makes our great city keep on keepin' on. So, hats off to you, Portland Expo. Thanks for being a really excellent polling place. And for being a great spot for our high schools to play and graduate. We appreciate the Red Claws and the Maine Roller Derby. Sometimes you get boxing or beer festivals, comic or mom and baby expos, home shows or car shows; that's pretty badass how you cater to just about every demographic. And Snoop Dogg? Remember that? Whoa. The point is, in the words of Billy Joel: don't go changing to try and please me; you never let me down before." Everything's changing these days, technology is making things speed up at an insane rate, and everyone's trying to top everyone else. But you do you. It's worked for over a century, and - while your parking can be annoying and your bathrooms not always the cleanest - we're always going to need a place like yours to do the normal things, the every day things, the nitty gritty things.

From coming here for my first concert ever to see Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin. Since then i have come here for more concerts than I can even count or remember. In some manners you can see the age of this place but it still is a solid option to attend a hockey game (Maine Mariners instead of Pirates now) or a concert/event. Due to its smaller size you can't really have a bad seat. Even what would be classified as "nose bleeds" here don't compare to major areas/stadiums. One issue I do wish were better here and just in general better for events would be the prices for food/drink. Like most places that host events they are too high. Parking is easy enough with options of street parking and parking garages nearby. Recently my wife and I attended the first televised professional wrestling event since 1997. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) put on an amazing show and strictly speaking in terms of their show it would be a five star but overall the venue could use some updating. Despite that if they are hosting an event/concert you want to see it I would reccomend going.

After the first period, a group of Casco Bay youth hockey players came onto the ice to play a 'game'. We were gifted the tickets so I am not sure how much it would've cost.
