Kim was Johnny on the spot , great personality, always available to answer my questions but most of all... I trusted her. The entire team never missed a beat. If you hire these guys to put in your counter, be forewarned they do not stand behind their work. About 2 months after our quartz kitchen counter install I noticed that any water around the sink was immediately running about 14" to the other side of the counter, caused by a slope in the quartz. I called them and spoke to the guy who did the original templating. You know when someone doesn't want to do something they give you ten reasons why they can't instead of just one? Well that's what was going on. They knew they screwed up but didn't want to fix the slope in the countertop. It was a single big piece of quartz and they didn't want to deal with it. They told me I would be responsible if they cracked it during repair! If you hire these guys my advice is be there with a level and a marble cause you can't trust their word and they won't come back. read more

Everything started out wonderful. We were doing a two level, with backsplash, granite top wet bar. Since it wasn't a huge job we were going to utilize a remnant. Their guy came out and templated the job and he did it correctly. At their suggestion, Merrimack Stone decided to install the two levels of the bar and return to install the backsplash.. When they returned with the backsplash the measurements were way off from what was on the template both in height, length and the opening for the electrical outlet. They said that they would be able to fix it and would return to attempt to install once it was fixed. When they came back and installed the backsplash it was way off in the other direction, again, not aligning with the original template. They installed anyway and while our carpenter was able to somewhat mask Merrimack Stone's mistakes there are large gaps remaining between the backsplash and the top price and a very large electrical cover plate had to be used to cover where they screwed up the hole for the outlet. They said that they would look for another piece of the granite to fix it but that was over one month ago and I haven't heard from them since. We are very disappointed and would not use or recommend them in the future. Either will our carpenter, who had used them for several jobs prior and had originally recommended them to us. read more

I fully expected to have a few spots on my new granite countertops where the stonemason might have done a better job. I knew that the number and types of angles of my walls were difficult and I just didn't think anyone could make the cuts perfectly. Boy was I ever wrong! Merrimack Stone did a perfect job! Matter of fact I periodically go look at the cuts and marvel at how they accomplished the impossible. In addition to the technical part of doing business with Merrimack Stone, we were also thrilled by how easy the process was. Their technician arrived when they said he would. Cody was more than fair on price. And after the template was created we were invited to look at the template attached to the stone before it was cut so we could be satisfied at how it would end up looking. In addition the cuts were designed so that the backsplashes were cut from the stone adjacent to the counters so the veining flowed. I would highly recommend Merrimack Stone and will use them again. read more

My husband and I came here looking for a piece of granite or quartz for our bathroom vanity and shower threshold and were incredibly impressed with their selection (even of smaller remnant pieces) and customer service. Kim asked us about our bathroom colors and tile, and helped us find an awesome piece of quartz! Kim was so friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful! We can't say enough good things about Merrimack Stoneworks. From the beginning of our kitchen project to the installation of the granite, Cody and his crew were professional, courteous, and patient. As we progressed through our project, my wife and I changed our granite selection a few times based on cabinet finish and floor tile changes. Cody was a complete professional and helped us with our changes. We were given an installation date and they promptly arrived when they said they would. Unfortunately, once they had laid the granite and shimmed it to be level, there was a large gap between the granite and our cabinets due to poor installation of those cabinets. I called Cody and he helped us get through our issues. A few days later our cabinets were fixed and the Merrimack Stoneworks crew came back to finish the job. Everything looks great and it was done at a fair price. We have some other projects we're looking at and we'll be coming back! read more

Even though Merrimack Stone didn't do the initial install, the staff was AMAZING while they listened to our dilemma, agreed to take on the small job, did it at a very reasonable cost and did it quickly and perfectly. They refused to honor their own quote! They gave me a written quote and then refused to honor it, saying they made an error on the granite price. (which by the way was right in line with other quotes I received) They expected me to just hand them over 600.00 more than the original price. I'm in business and if I made a mistake like that I would still honor it. But their word and written sales quote was useless. They wasted three weeks of my time because I had to find another installer, which by the way was Belisle Granite in Hooksett, who did a beautiful job for even less money than the original quote from Merrimack Stone! Also, they were very disorganized and didn't know what other employees were working on. Really bad at follow up phone calls and emails. STAY AWAY unless you want a similar experience. read more

Purchased SileStone Stellar Snow countertop for my kitchen about a month ago. Everything went smoothly. Georgina was my sales rep and we communicated primarily through email, which is my preference. She always responded in a timely manner. I scanned and emailed her the design for the cabinets and we ended up negotiating a great deal compared to the other quotes i received from big box and other local companies who do SileStone. The guy who did the template and install was great. I'm happy and the wife is also happy. I think the seam could have been done a little better which explains the 4 stars instead of the 5, but the wife didn't mind, i'm just a perfectionist. The final bill was actually LESS then what I was quoted, that says a lot about this company, most companies would just keep the difference, they even had to drive over an hour away to where i am located in MA. I would recommend to family/friends. I will say i took a small risk based on other reviews I've read on the net. One negative review mentioned lines on the countertop because of machinery used, mine does not have such lines, and others mentioned them having bad communication. I experienced neither of those things, so I believe they are either not true, or they improved since those reviews were written. read more
