We had Ripano Stoneworks add a granite bar counter top to a small remodeling project in our kitchen. The challenge was that the bar top was sitting above an original granite counter top that was installed 7 years prior. We pretty much had settled on the fact we would not be able to find a matching piece. The original was a variety of colors and finding a matching piece that many years later was near impossible. Well when we walked through the expansive inventory that Ripano had, we were amazed that we found a piece that looked like a perfect match. How lucky was that? Matt (at Ripano) broke a small sample off for us to take home and match it up. Perfect match....like it came out of the same quarry.... Ironically, the original granite was not from Ripano (our builder sent us somewhere else), so the match was even more unlikely. Better yet, the remnant was just big enough for our project. They cut and polished the piece to perfection and installed it with precision. Today when people see the bar top and hear the story, they can't believe it. I have been a Ripano client for a number of years. Each of my experiences has exceeded all expectations. Located in the heart of Nashua, their business is clean, orderly, and has a very professional staff from their sales, to production, installers, and office associates. My last project was a custom outdoor table. Through close collaboration with their team, they assisted in the stone choice (helpful as there is a literal warehouse with stone to choose from), sizing and design. I was also provided a brief tour of their manufacturing. The modern machines are quite impressive. Prior to receiving the finished product, I was provided the templates and even a preview. The installers were courteous and professional. When the time came to update our kitchen and bathroom, we decided to go local and check out Ripano. Cannot say enough about the quality of service and product - outstanding! Heidi spent a lot of time with us as she assisted us in our stone selection. We never felt rushed, and she took the time to answer all our questions. The installers, Paul and Barney are great guys as well. They take great pride in their workmanship. We discovered that the particular granite we chose for the kitchen was very porous - it developed a stain a few days after installation. (Highly recommend the 15 year DuPont warranty for this reason.) Matt came to our home several times over the period of a few weeks to remove the stain and super seal the granite. I am very happy with my vanity counter top and my experience with Ripano. Jim in the showroom always welcomed me with a smile even when I came in several times trying to find the right stone for my bathroom. Keith my project manager was also great getting me a price that was comfortable. Once I committed to the stone I wanted, Jim was very patient helping me with the layout and really made the experience much less stressful for me. I have used Ripano for many projects, the most recent being a kitchen renovation. This big kitchen setup is all quartz and includes a desk, coffee nook, 6 ft. island, huge sink, and 7.5 ft. breakfast bar. The design process could have been overwhelming, but the staff is friendly, the design was straightforward (great recommendations based on previous experiences) and the finished product is PERFECT. Wow. My kitchen countertops look fantastic! I loved being able to go into their showroom and warehouse to choose my slab. They are a little bit more pricey than their competitors but well worth the additional cost. The installation was done timely and professionally. I had 6 men here and they all wore masks, were very polite and their conversations were not loud and the content was respectful (nothing offensive). After a year, we had a small crack in our granite and they promptly sent someone to our home to fix it. The crack is now very difficult to find, they did an impeccable job.
