Bright and fun, good food with a friendly staff. Every visit has been consistent with good food, nice margaritas and drinks, and a friendly staff. It's a good tex mex place for this southern girl!

Looking for some good Mexican food at a sit down restaurant in Bozeman and came across this Tex Mex place. This was just average and a bit bland. Not horrible. Fresh ingredients? Just not much flavor! I kept finding myself adding a bit of salt to my meal as well as the guacamole appetizer we ordered. It just felt like some flavor was missing. Chips came out warm and salsa was great! Service was good and it's a cute atmosphere. Definitely need to find a niche in the menu with some flavor in their dishes!

Emma was a great server! Very attentive and checked on us and our experience a few times during our dinning. Being a family that is very familiar with Merry Piglets in Jackson, WY the flavors took us back home. The building was not loud or echoing, we could hear each other speak without having to yell.

I love this place! We have been a few times! However last time we were there we had the best server! I believe their name was Rocky! You are in luck if they are your server! The margs are great! I recommend the strawberry one. The queso is great when mixed with salsa and is a large portion for the $ amount. Highly recommend the chicken enchiladas! Can't wait to go back! Also the inside atmosphere is really nice!

Classic Tex-Mex with a fun atmosphere, great location, plenty of parking. Service could be more consistent.

My family had a great time at Merry Piglets. Despite being busy they were very attentive to our table and we always had what we needed. The kitchen even made me an extra taco because I messed up while ordering. Loved the music while we were here it wasn't too loud and the restaurant as a whole was fun and the servers were all very friendly and helpful. Would recommend going here!

Spacious couches and lounge areas mixed with bar seating and smaller high top tables makes this a great spot for groups big or small. Can't imagine any circumstance where a party wouldn't feel welcome here or appreciate the layout. Service was great - all the bartenders dress "on brand" and able to make suggestions while ensuring our drinks stayed as full as we wanted them too (but also totally good with us just being low key) Pro tip: They allegedly have the best grilled cheese and tomato soup in Bozeman, so guess I'll have to go back for that. One downside? They need to change their name! I can NEVER remember it and neither can my friends. Makes it less memorable in a spot that would otherwise be high on the list!

We were immediately greeted and sat at the bar. We ordered an old fashion and Huckleberry Lemon Drop (recommend both). Honestly, I don't think it matters what you order...it's going to be good. I hate to compare but it's crazy how different two places can be in the same hotel. The service here was abysmal. We came at the end of someone's set and it wasn't that crowded in the bar but almost every single table was dirty, with empty glasses on them. There seemed to be one bartender and another person helping. That person literally just stood there talking to people instead of cleaning up the tables. The bartender was pretty rude too and didn't seem to be into working here at all. The only clean table was by the door and it kept getting opened while the next band set up so we just moved to a table with dirty glassware on it. The drinks were pretty lackluster (especially compared to the awesome ones upstairs). I don't think it was that the menu was inferior to the other, I just think the bartender didn't care. Both my drinks were watered down and icy. Pretty sad for the price to be honest. It got pretty crowded for the second set being played so we decided to leave to let other people sit. I wasn't interested in having another icy sad drink.

The bartender was friendly and made us laugh a lot. She was also very good at her job and made us some excellent cocktails. We ordered from the cocktail menu, but she was ready to make whatever you wanted, except for a Captain and Mountain Dew because unfortunately they don't have Mountain Dew at the hotel. And don't worry, it wasn't me ordering that. Not that I'd shame anyone for their cocktail choices but the gentleman and lady next to us had some interesting combinations they wanted to order. We also ordered the carrot cake pops. Man those were good too. We contemplated coming in the next day for some more. We liked them that much. The ambiance of this rooftop bar is also fantastic. It's large and decorated really well but the piece de resistance was the outside and the views of Downtown Bozeman. The cozy fire pits and comfy seating were very appealing. I only wish we didn't stroll in from our hotel room and wore more clothes so we could have sat out there the whole time. Oh well, there's always next time.
