Quick stop here for Café con leche & guava Pastelitos to go post surf session. The coffee was excellent! The Pastelitos were warm and had the perfect flaky consistency. There was ample seating. Met the owner who was very welcoming. The restaurant shares a building with a small post office. The Cuban sandwiches looked amazing.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Super easy to order and all the staff is nice even when they're super busy. One of the best cuban sandwich places around. Cafe con leche is delicious, you can get it iced, and they have milk substitutes! Tables are always clean and I always enjoy eating there.

TOP QUALITY! I called ahead to make sure they were open; an extremely nice man picked up and invited me in very politely. I arrived and was greeted promptly with a smile. I asked for a Cuban sandwich which was delivered into my mouth about 4 minutes after. This Cuban sandwich was of the utmost quality, even better than the Cuban sandwich I have eaten at Versailles restaurant in Miami! I feel bad for you if you don't eat here. Please redirect yourself into Mervis' Cafe immediately!

As a recent transplant from the Miami - Fort Lauderdale area, I came across Mervis' Cafe quite by accident. Seek out the United States Post Office and you will find this authentic Cuban cafe tucked inside. They share the same building. One Media Noche and a grande Cafe con' Leche for me. Eat in, rather than take out. I had almost an hour to burn before picking up my kids from school. Why not spend it at Mervis'? Great sandwich with all the right ingredients and pressed just right, pickle on the side. As for the Cafe' con Leche, the 16 ounce cup contains about 4 ounces of straight espresso. Not too sweet and a decent cup of java. Fast and polite service. They have plenty of seating and parking, along with an extensive menu that includes breakfast. Recent renovations have been done and everything seems new. Mervis' Cafe also has free Wi-Fi. I would definitely visit again for that "Cuban" experience. No issues whatsoever. William E.
