Do not take your vehicle here for any kind of repair unless you want it broke worse than when you dropped it off. They broke my door while repairing my muffler and refused to fix it. I was referred to this shop by my mechanic, Sean, owner of TopGear Motorsports (incredible shop for anything high performance GM) for a simple aftermarket muffler replacement. Called the shop, was told their supplier doesn't carry the muffler I wanted and to order it myself so they can install it. Cool. A few days later the muffler arrived so I called to schedule an appt and was put on the schedule for the following afternoon. I show up on time and was greeted by Dave (Rick's brother) and they swiftly take my truck back, put it on the lift, and complete the job in under and hour. While I waited in the shop I got a chance to talk with Dave a little and was even offered food by another employee because the guys had leftovers from lunch. Like WHAT?! When does that ever happen? What a great bunch of guys that work here... very personable and clearly give a shit. They also do great work, the welds were super clean! I would have highly recommended this shop before but after reading a few of the 1 star reviews (curious as to what someone could complain about) I wish I could leave another 5 stars. People never cease to amaze me with their stupidity. If you're so scared of Covid and think masks should be worn by people working with metal and sparks flying everywhere just stay home and keep living your life the way CNN tells you to so the rest of us aren't exposed to your contagious stupidity. read more

This is the place for mufflers. Rick and his guys installed true duals on my Escalade in 1hour, 45 minutes from start to finish. Using Magnaflow mufflers and installing an H-pipe, its sounds just right and the vehicle runs smooth. The price was very reasonable. What else can you ask for. read more

I brought my car in with all new catalytic converters that I paid $750 for. Mesa Muffler not only over the phone tried to tell me that I don't need cats to pass emissions or mufflers and that they insisted on doing a straight pipe. I told them no and that I needed to pass my emissions and he said it would be fine either way. so I said id come back another time and that this time I just wanted then to weld the new cats and the new y pipe. they not only welded my cats backwards causing the cats to clog and burn the metals inside of the cats. but this caused for my car to be in the shop from october 5th to now. At the shop they want to charge me $850 for all new catalytic converters and gaskets. I paid $173 for mesa muffler to destroy my car and now leave me with no car for almost 2 months. I've tried to get my money back from mesa muffler and the only response I got was to bring my car into them. He knows damn well my car can't drive to his shop because of what he did and he won't give me any return for their shitty work. read more

I accidentally brought my car to another muffler shop in the area who did just about the worst work ever on my Ford Focus RS (turned a dual tipped exhaust into a single one and charged me to put it back to factory) and these guys already knew exactly what I wanted, got me in super quick, were extremely reasonable on price (about 40 bucks less than the hack job previously stated) and the work was 100% better! Was referred her by a friend and after reading the reviews I decided to use them for an exhaust problem on my 69 Barracuda. Rick was able to help with the problem I was experiencing, but told me after looking at the car he would do a modification of an existing section of exhaust pipe that was hitting one of the torsion bars. He originally said he would probably be able to fabricate a new section, but then told me this would probably not be much better than modifying what I had. He could have fabbed the new pipe and charged me $200. Instead he charged me less than half of that for the modification of the existing pipe. Professional, honest, and fair. I would go back here and would recommend them if you need exhaust work. read more

It's been a while since I've written a review so why not start with mesa muffler. I had used another company a couple times in the past and I've watch their prices slowly creep up. I brought them a project and they quoted me a ridiculous amount so at that point I contacted one of my buddies and asked him who he uses. He referred me to Rick over at Mesa muffler. Ricks a no BS kind of guy, he quoted me a rough estimate that was a little more than half of what the previous company quoted me. I told him great let's get it done and he took my project immediately and got his guys working on it. Both of his guys that he has working in there have such a great attitude and they're a pleasure to talk to. I dropped by today to give him payment and take a look at the work and I am super impressed! All the welds are clean, everything is strapped perfectly and tight and the job looks exceptional!! Best part is Rick initially quoted a little higher just because he wasn't sure of the clearance and it turned out to be a little easier so he discounted the original quoted price. I went to this shop for a very simple issue with my exhaust. All I need was a clamp to be removed and adjusted. The guy working with me (Rick) was a total jerk from the beginning. He tried to make a federal case out of what I needed tried to tell me I needed to cut and weld and this could be warped so on so fourth a bunch of BS. In the end I told him I only wanted the clamp adjusted and he told me "well it'll be 80$ even if I start tinkering with it" I happen to know a thing or two about cars.
