Many times I will be the next person to be checked out and they take the last person standing in line of 5 or 6 people. I use to cashier in Highschool and this absolutely irks me! Living in Las Cruces, is a nice option to have since we don't have Trader Joe's. I occasionally visit this store, only during the day as there are always homeless asking for help in the parking lot. I always check the Clearance section in the back for discounted items. Most of them are not a big savings, over priced items a dollar off. One time, I received the weekly flyer on my email so I went to the store to get the Mahi Mahi at a good sale price. The gentleman at the counter didn't know of any special on their website. The next day I went back and I spoke with the manager and I showed him the posted photo of the fish on sale. He apologized and said that they didn't receive the fish and offered me a rain check. I said it is fine, but I think your staff should know what is on the special of the week since you don't post them in your store. He replied that it wasn't posted following instructions from the company.Today 9/7, I visited the store. I checked the yogurt section and the discounted option had an BB date on August 27, 10 days ago! I think there are plenty of training opportunities for the staff in this store.
