The last time, I purchased at the Richardson location and had planned to return there until I realized this location was a lot closer, so off I went. Upon entering, I was greeted immediately, explained what I needed and in no time I was trying on several different styles. I ultimately decided on a pair and since I need new clips, I got those too. The staff was super helpful and even installed the clips for me. All said, I was in/out of the store within ~15 minutes with my purchase in hand. The staff here was super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. In addition to selling all things cycling, this location also has a repair center so if your bicycle is need some attention, this is your place. Lastly, this location has its own parking lot so parking is not an issue.

After struggling for hours with what YouTube calls a "simple" fix I literally threw in the towel and took my bike the mile and a half to have the experts look at it. Fifteen minutes later I was on my way home. Bike fixed, ready to ride. Dignity intact. The guy's behind the counter were patient, helpful, and understanding. Can't say enough about that part. So, if you're an "I can fix it guy" kind of guy who usually can't , my advice to you is: Don't be a bonehead like me. Just take it to the pros. I am a casual rider. But because of quarantine and lack of work/activities, I have been riding more…read morethan usual. I love my cruiser. I bought it off the shelf, knowing nothing about bikes. It took me a month just to learn to ride...I never learned. Occasionally, I put some oil on my bike if it seems to be shifting weird. And I do check my tire pressure regularly. Aside from that, I've never had an adult check it out. I decided that it was probably time to have a tuneup and have a thorough safety check. I did call the bike shop down the street, but they are no longer taking appointments, and I was not about to go wait in line as they had suggested. I happened to find Velofix online and was able to get an appointment in about a week. Matt was my bike guy (what is the technical term....Bichanic?) Anyhow, he was on time and completed a tire-to-tire evaluation. He even installed my cushy new saddle so I'll be more comfortable during rides. He cleaned my bike, which brought a little tear to my eye. It looked better than the day I bought it. Plus, my brakes no longer sound like air horns. Much appreciated! Incredibly convenient service and I will definitely be better about caring for my bike. I know it's illegal to hi-five during quarantine times, but I would've given him two hi-fives if it were allowed.
