Extra care to safety for employees and customers. Very clean and simple inside. Good portions. Good flavor especially the black beans! My wife enjoyed her pupusas not greasy. Will be back to enjoy some other items on the menu.

I ordered their Ensalada drink, and It came swollen like it was about to explode. I thought nothing of it and drank it anyway. It was so sour and it tasted like rotten alcohol. I cut it open and the smell was so foul.

Service is good, very attentive customer service. Food was solid 7.5. Price is a little high for what the portions. I will come back if I ever want some Salvy food again

Cool spot. I enjoy having a Shrimp Cocktail with a delicious cold Michelada on random Fridays. I love the tropical music playing on the background while enjoying my meal. Alex, was prompt with the meals n drinks. Great service!

This place needs help with workers. Once the restaurant is filled up, they get busy. It's not their fault they can't handle the rush. Little things are forgotten. A pupsas here, a cortido and salsa missing with the order. Nothing compares to the original country and pricing and it's not fair. But I'm gonna give this place another chance for sure. I gotten food here before and it was done on time and food came out fine. I didn't have the best experience but it's alright. I'm still on a Salvadorian high. Best tip: order ahead (if they can answer the phone while be busy, or to avoid the rush of any kind) There's only so many tables for people to come in and out. Service: don't expect Los Angeles speed with this place they just don't have the support. Food: I got to e Salvadorian breakfast and the burrito and three pupsas. Almost 2 hrs. Usually with this type of place I rate this a 1. Like I said I'll give it another try.

Pupusas are amazing and the slaw and sauce is perfect. My favorite pupusa spot in the valley by far.

When we walked in, we were greeted kindly by the staff in the restaurant. My mom and I admittedly did our research prior and knew what we wanted to order. The gentleman at the front was very kind and helpful whilst taking our order. We took a seat and we were brought some chips and salsa! The salsa was very flavorful and had a slight kick. After a few minutes, our food arrived. We dug in! Everything was sooo delicious. The pupusa had a perfect ratio of everything with the filling and the curtido went perfectly. The side of rice and beans were cooked great and were very yummy. My mom and I tried the plantains and were pleasantly surprised. We weren't surprised they were cooked well but rather that the plantains themselves seemed to be at the perfect state of ripeness too! Overall we had a really pleasant experience at Las Comadres. Admittedly one fault is my mom and I had some acid reflux which we think was due to the curtido. I rarely get acid reflux so it was a surprise. Since we deduced the cause, it doesn't deter us from eating some yummy food here again!

The shell of the taco was so crisp yet light. Good Magaritas too! My husband's Carnitas burrito was so flavorful. The servers were very nice and very attentive. The inside of the restaurant had tasteful decor. Leather and bent wood chairs, lofty ceiling with open beams. Attractive paintings and porcelain pieces hung on the walls. Very Mediterranean ambiance. There is outside seating but it was too hot for that, inside was pleasantly cool.

As vegetarians, my family usually struggles to find decent offerings at Mexican restaurants,…read moreusually settling for bland bean-and-rice burritos, cheese enchiladas that clearly were made haphazardly (if not out-right cooked from the freezer), or calorie-bombed nachos. This is not the case at Dos Carlitos in Santa Ines! Yes, my kids split the order of nachos, but the ratio of black beans, tomatoes, and guacamole to cheese made this mother happy. The vegetable tostada was loaded with grilled vegetables and the freshly-made tortillas were incredible! Finally, the cheese enchiladas (we're creatures of habit) were freshly cooked, with more of those in-house tortillas, and they were, according to my husband, some of the most delicious that he's had in a long time. Service was courteous and prompt, and we were greeted by the host in a very pleasant manner. I have to give a shout-out to our busboy, who was fantastic, ready with water or chip refills before we even thought to ask (whatever his name was, he was working Thursday, July 23 at noon). In short, Dos Carlitos is a first-rate Mexican restaurant! We love how it is not loud or overfilled with patrons. One might balk at some of the high prices, but in general I have to say it was overall worth it!
