The meat was tender and marinated. Great flavor. The sope was soft inside. Also tried a tostada de camaron (shrimp tostada). Very tasty. The tostada was loaded and chopped shrimp, beans, lettuce, avocado and cotija cheese. I could have ate one and been full. My husband tried one taco of carne asada and al pastor with a chile toreado on the side. He said both meats had great flavor and delicious. Lovely place. We will definitely visit again soon.

The salsa is super tasty with a nice kick and the chips are always fresh Their menu has something to please everyone and they have a rotating daily special along with a happy hour. The staff is really friendly as well and they are well staffed which is always nice to see. The atmosphere is really nice as well inside and outside. This is a hidden gem of a place and will be our regular spot They also have an expansive tequila section and even tequila tastings if that is up your alley. If you want to know how much money to take the first time, just take $10 and see how much you can get with that. As of July 30, 2023 I was able to get 4 pastries and one 16 ounce coffee. The coffee is self serve and they use instant coffee blend: Los Portales brand - Cafe de Olla - flavored with cinnamon and brown sugar. I have been going to this bakery for at least five years and they only make quality Mexican items. Even though Foodsco sells also Mexican baked items these are made fresh every day. My favorite items are: 'orejas' , 'Conchas', 'besos' ' pan dulce' , 'niño envuelto' , ' pay queso' 'polvoron tri-color'- as you can see there's a variety of baked goods in this bakery that are worth to try, but those would be my recommendation. Staff only speaks Spanish. You can always use Google translate to ask questions in Spanish or take a Mexican friend that could explain what each item. I am including a picture of my latest purchases. The place is very relaxed and everybody is focused on just getting the items that they would like to purchase on the tray.
