Finger lickin' good Moody lighting. I usually like restaurants more lit up. This is more like a romantic vibe. The food was really yummy. We had the patatas bravas, camarones borrachos, paella and empanadas. Food was amazing and vibe was very classy.

Came here for brunch! Loved it. It was a super cute spot in a plaza with lots of parking. We got the cava and shared a cheeseboard and pork empanadas. The portions were big and we were filled up with these. The cava was refreshing and delicious. The cheeseboard we got had pate, Brie, pickled onions, and some toasted bread. So good The empanadas came with four pieces -- wish we could mix and match but the aioli sauce was delish to dip in! Had a little kick to it. Our waitress and the owner Nick were so friendly, gave us amazing recommendations for wine tasting and things to do in Paso! Loved it and will definitely be back.

This spot is a hidden gem! My friend found it on Google and we are so glad he did! I will say though, it was super pricey! We split all the tapas we ordered. The wagyu and pork lollipops were some of the tables favorites. However, they all came with the same little side salad with vinaigrette dressing. It would have been nice to taste something different. We loved the empanadas too! We had to try all the desserts, but the churros were by far our fave. It was quite loud in there and the food took quite a bit. The server was nice and overall good experience.

Food: everything we tried here was absolutely delicious (Wagyu, potatoes, paella, lamb, empanada). One after the other I figured there would be one thing I didn't like, but no, everything was flavorful. Service: Outstanding. Friendly, kind, and attentive. Ambiance: The layout of the seating was spaced out well and convenient. It was low/moderately loud and the lighting is towards the dimmer side but not dark.

Came on a winemaker night. Fun concept! They invite a winemaker over for a tasting of their wine that's paired with dishes. $25 for the 3 wine pours, but the food wasn't included. - house special nut mix: I forgot the actual name but the description sounded tasty! It... was on the stale side. -patatas bravas: standard. The sauce was tasty, especially with the wagyu. I preferred it dipped in this vs the chimmichurri. - wagyu: perfectly cooked! Absolutely order this! The tomatoes in the salad were very tasty. - junction fideua: yummy! I need to come back and try it with the paella. - chocolate mousse: paired with one of the wines, it was actually pretty good. The mousse was a bit chunky though, not sure if that was on purpose.

The service is not great. We had a reservation but they ended up seating us in the patio. We were the only ones there. The food was also not great. We payed also $10 for a few slides of bread, the tortilla Espanol a was very small and not great. Paella took 40 mins and it was small even on the rice quantity. There are so many other good places at Paso Robles. Not this one.

Loved this place!!! We were looking for a nice restaurant our last night in Paso Robles and found this on Open Table. We were seated at the bar. I don't like goat cheese or beets, but their Ensalada de Romolaca salad was absolutely incredible. I didn't take a picture because I didn't plan on trying it until my wife forced me to. That was followed by chicken and mushroom empanadas. The chicken was our favorite. Next were the Lamb Lollipops. Now I am not a fan of lamb but I would order these 1,000 more times. So much flavor. Not gamey at all. We finished it off with seafood paella, that was super fresh and tasty. The night before I had been telling my wife that I would love to find a good paella place after the one in Fresno closed a decade ago. While we were sitting at the bar, Ingrid, one of the owners came up to cut fruit and told us about how this restaurant came to fruition. She introduced us to her husband and head chef, Nick. Just a really nice couple. Hearing the backstories brings heart to the food. BTW - Next time one of you idiots decide that you want to leave a bad review, just keep in mind that small business owners deserve some grace because they are competing with big fish. A bad review could hurt their wellbeing where it won't affect a big nationwide restaurant. And that's my two cents. Go check this place out!!!!

We had our reservations here as we love Spanish tapas. We arrived a bit early & were vreeted by a wonderful, welcoming hostess - our table was ready so we got seated right away. They were very busy on Saturday evening so it took a while to get our food order in but the hostess was helping out throughout the restaurant and brought us the wine. We ordered mushroom empanadas, patatas bravas, octopus two way and pork iberico. Food was delicious. Octopus & pork portions were small for the price charged. We shared basque cheesecake - it was good but a bit too dense for my liking.

The food is amazing authentic tic Spanish tapas, paella and great wines. The bar is casual and relaxed, the space is cozy and comfortable. The Chef Nicholas and his wife are wonderful hosts as well. Their team is friendly and warm, service is great.

I was so tempted to write a horrible review to a prior visit. The experience was not so welcoming and inviting, but this made up for it.... Fast forward to now, made reservations a couple hours prior and got a table. There's a few options that we were able to choose from with seating. They have an outdoor patio as well. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so we opted for a drink at the bar. By the time we looking at the menu and getting to get a drink, the table was ready. The menu does offer some amazing things. It's tapas so obviously meant for sharing and trying a few dishes. Drink were great as they did have a good selection of item. Some sound amazing but one or two was just like, not. Started off with the empanadas which came 4 to an order, nice. The filling was amazing and the crust was perfectly flakey. Ended up getting two orders. Also the mushrooms with baguette was great. The chorizo was ok with crostini bread. But as we were here, had to go for the paella. The seafood version was are with pasta versus rice. It was good but to be quite honest, I would have rather had it with rice. But quite good though. The outstanding dish was the steak and chimichurri. We never mentioned how we wanted it cooked but when it came out, it was perfect. Paired with the sauce, outstanding . Food was excellent, service was great. It does get busy. Compared to the first visit, this time takes the cake and will definitely be back whenever we're in town.

A great find in Paso! Food was solid. We made reservations ahead of time and got a seat on the patio. They are also dog friendly! Service was good as well. Would definitely come back! What we ordered: Octopus Papas bravas Empanadas Junction paella Red wine sangria Wagyu bistek

Patatas bravas. Wow! The hidden sauce under the parada's is not to be overlooked.

The cocktails did not disappoint and were very creative and delicious. The O So Sabroso is an interesting take on an Old Fashioned with just a hint of Iberico ham. The El Bulli, Taragon Fix and Honey Honey were also fantastic. Since it was getting towards dinner (and we were a bit tipsy) we decided to cancel our other reservation and stay for tapas. All of the tapas were expertly executed. The jamon and mushroom croquettes were both delicious as was the Moorish Lamb. The carxofa was next level. The papas bravas were also delicious and were somewhat different being small potatoes with the skin on. Service was excellent and very friendly from the two ladies working behind the bar. The were fun and made excellent suggestions for cocktails. Highly recommended!

Of note, we were never given an option for indoor seating when making our reservation nor when we were seated. After ordering, we received our starter (shishito peppers) within 10 minutes. However once we finished the starter we waited an additional 30-40 minutes for our entrees. There was no communication from the wait staff at all, no refills on water, nothing. In fact in the patio dining area I saw three plates of food (including our peppers) delivered to tables in the hour we had been sitting there. Interestingly the wait staff all seemed very busy and moved around the restaurant but not much appeared to get done. Having worked in hospitality previously I have a lot of empathy for the staff as they seemed to lack direction and management support. My husband ordered the mushroom and scallop pasta. It was okay. Overpriced, but was tasty. I ordered the chile relleno and steak. The chile relleno was filled with a large amount of corn that tasted freezer burnt. My steak was thin and grey and overcooked. It was nearly all grey inside with a couple spots of pink. It wasn't seasoned either. The sauces on the plate were good. Our server was polite and did take it off the menu. However, no manager ever came by to check on us or any other table on the patio in the time we were there. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews. It was a real let down to have a lackluster food and service experience at "one of the nicest places" in Paso.

From the moment we walked in, it felt less like a restaurant and more like being invited into someone's passion project. The intimacy of the setting made it special right away--small group, shared experience, and a level of attention you just don't get in a traditional dining environment. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, but more importantly, it delivered. The food was the clear star--clean, intentional, and incredibly well-executed. Every dish felt like it had a purpose. The steak and mushrooms were a standout, and dessert was right there with it. The wine pairings introduced us to bottles we wouldn't normally find or order ourselves, which added to the experience. If anything, I would've loved even more storytelling around the pairings--how and why each wine was chosen to complement the dish--but that's a small note in an otherwise incredible night. What really elevated the evening was the host's passion. You can feel it in how the food is prepared, how the evening flows, and how guests are brought into the experience. It's not just dinner--it's connection, storytelling, and craftsmanship all rolled into one. If you're looking for something beyond a typical night out--something more curated, more personal--this is absolutely worth it. A memorable night all around.

One thing I've noticed, though, is that the food can be inconsistent, especially with takeout. I tend to order the same meals repeatedly, but they often taste different from one visit to the next. Sometimes they're excellent, and other times they're just okay. I wish there were more consistency because when the food is good, it's really good. My most recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the salmon salad, and for $21, I expected a larger, fresher salad. The portion felt small for the price. The salmon had a noticeably fishy taste, and the whole cherry tomatoes included one that was mushy inside, which made the salad difficult to enjoy. I do want to recognize the excellent service, though. After I mentioned that the salad seemed small, my server kindly brought me extra lettuce at no charge, which I really appreciated. That thoughtful gesture made a positive impression. Overall, I genuinely hope the restaurant can improve the consistency of its food because it has some standout menu items and great service. I'll definitely be back for the Argentinian tacos, and I'm hopeful that future visits will be more consistent.

Tucked into the corner of a Starbucks location, this cute little spot is small but super inviting--and definitely lives up to the hype. I ordered the chilaquiles (not listed on the menu, but they'll make it for you with your choice of meat or traditional eggs for the same price). Absolutely worth the $13, and I'd 100% order it again--next time with al pastor! We also tried the chicken enchilada plate ($13), which was just as good. Great flavor, the perfect amount of sauce and cheese, and it came with rice and beans on the side. For drinks, they've got a wide selection, including alcoholic options.
