A quaint restaurant that sits behind Denny's does not pose as a problem as customers have a good flow at night when I usually go. Their hard shell tacos are the best I have had. Service is always quick and friendly. I am there often enough to be recognized and they know my orde. The restaurant is clean including tables and chairs. There are TVs to catch up in any sport. Food is fresh, served on time. On the weekend their menudo is a must have. Pozole is next on my list to try. read more

Tacos Michoacan is a solid, casual spot for Mexican food. I stopped in for an early Thursday lunch and there was plenty of seating. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive, which made the experience a good start right away. I ordered the two-meat burrito, which normally comes filled with rice, beans, and your choice of meats. I asked for no beans and they had no problem accommodating that. The burrito came out in just a few minutes, which made sense once I saw the size. At around $17, it was definitely on the smaller side for the price. That said, the fresh salsa bar is a big highlight. I loaded up on the pico de gallo, which was finely diced, well seasoned, and really fresh. The green salsa was also excellent--nice heat with a smoky flavor that stood out. On its own, the burrito was good but not worth the price. Once I added the pico and green salsa, it was much better and left me craving more. Unfortunately, I'm giving this a 3-star rating due to the lack of value, but that's not to take away from the great taste and excellent service. read more

The food was ok with the flavor, but once I kept looking at the shrimp, I looked down at my bike and found out the shrimp was not cleaned or gutted correctly that there is poop in each of my shrimp. The service is great. They're really friendly and sweet that's why I give them two stars only for them. Ordered a shrimp burrito from this place thinking it would be like any other shrimp burrito I've had at any other classic Mexican spot (fajita style), but it turned out to be some breaded, deep-fried baja-style shrimp burrito with lettuce, diced tomatoes and some pink-orange sauce. AKA, unlike any asada or lengua burritos I've had from this place. When I told the teller that that was NOT what I had asked for, and that nowhere on the menu does it indicate that it'll be different from their other burritos, she said there was nothing she could do. No refund, no exchanging of the food item. This was upsetting because there was no way for me to know what the burrito would look like; the menu does not say breaded shrimp burrito, it says shrimp burrito. All of this was explained to the teller to no avail. Yeah, sure, I made an assumption that lead to an expectation, and I should've clarified from the get-go, but I don't think I was being unreasonable in wanting a replacement or a refund. I feel that Tacos Michoacan was being unreasonable in not complying with that request because after all, the only breaded shrimp dish pictured on the menu clearly stated that it contained breaded shrimp, while the listed "shrimp burrito" did not. (Am I being crazy here? Please feel free to tell me without holding anything back.) The thing that bothered me most of all was that there was never any empathy in how my situation was handled. If they would've said that house rules dictate that my situation can't be accommodated with some genuine sympathy for my dissatisfaction, then maybe I could've taken everything a bit more in stride. If they would've demonstrated some understanding and acknowledged that my confusion was logically valid, then maybe I wouldn't have felt dumb, frustrated and upset. But that's not what happened. This whole experience ruined my mood in a way I could only shake by writing this review. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Tacos Michoacan unless it's because they want to right their wrong and either give me my money back or give me another burrito. read more

This was my first time trying Tacos Michoacán and it was honestly great. The food was amazing full of flavor, fresh, and made with real care. I ordered the burrito and it was perfect. The salsa, the sides, everything hit the spot. The service was fast and friendly, and you can really feel the good energy inside the place. Tacos Michoacan is legit. This seems like the type of place that you come here and consistent every time. First off, decent amount of indoor seating and parking is not too bad, can get busy sometimes though. Prices are super reasonable. Service is with a smile, not every place is like that. Salsa bar is kept clean and full. This will be a new staple for me when I'm in the area. I ordered a taco salad which was huge. So much cheese yum! I got chicken and it was like shredded chicken. My boyfriend ordered a burrito with Carne Asada. Me and him agreed it was not a very good Carne Asada. Maybe it was overcooked or something I'm not sure. Or maybe the seasonings were off. The food never misses here. No matter what you order it's all good! My husband enjoys the burrito mojado with al pastor. I like their combo of a quesadilla, taco, rice and beans. I've tried their carne asada, al pastor and carnitas and they're all delicious. We usually call ahead for pick up and they have our food ready pretty fast. If you want to dine in though they have plenty of tables and the restaurant overall is very clean. They have a self serve salsa station. The green and red are both great and having good salsas says a lot about a Mexican food spot. read more

Hello all, we have been coming here for the burritos for many years. We have been happy with the food and the service has been fine. I will say the price of the burritos is up there but we love the chili, hot but good. We tolerated the price because they have a chili bar where you get your own chili and there is never an issue. Today unfortunate there was a problem. We bought 2 burritos which cost us is 27.00. We got 4 Chili's and ate most of our burritos and all 4 Chili's. We got 2 more chilies and were told we are getting too many and would have to pay 3.00 more, why not 5.00 or 10.00 since we are being arbitrary. There are no signs about this extra charge, nor is it on the menu or any limits posted at the chili bar. Discarding customer over 2 chilies??? I guess they don't need the business. We were shocked by this new attitude. Sorry, maybe it's me but I don't think 6 Chili's is crazy or taking advantage. We will not be going back. I will take my money elsewhere. read more

The establishment looks to be fairly clean. There is additional parking in the back, but parking can be limited depending on when you go.
