I went for the spray tan. Unfortunately, the gal that did mine did not do a good job. The tanning solution started to run out before we were half done and I mentioned it to her. Her solution was to hold the box containing the solution over her head while continuing to spray me. Also the room is closed off without any type of ventilation even though there is window in the room. I felt smothered by the tanning mist. The tan was minimal. I guess for free parking and convenience sake it was an ok deal. But I will not be returning for a tan. The salon itself is very cute and offers some fun events. But there needs to be a bit more customer service. read more

Not a good experience. Went in for a pedicure and came out with the sloppiest pedi I've ever had anywhere!!! The girl did not completely rinse the salt like scrub off my legs. Every stylist I have ever had in the Seattle area has left or moved else where. Its happened twice already and I didn't want to go to Gene Juarez in Bellevue. After searching and asking around for a good stylist that deals with enthic asian hair I was recommended to go see Hailey. She is great, she takes the the to listen and get to know you not just as a client but as a person. She is attentive and professional. I love the cut she gave me, and is really a great colorist. She highlighted my hair and with football season around the corner I can't wait to try a different color. read more

I've just left Bianco & Co. from my second ever Brazilian. Honestly I feel like a new woman. Linda is amazing and so caring. She likes to talk to you to help ease your nerves, she's just wonderful and warm and kind. She listened to my concerns and gave me great advice on upkeep and even helped me with a few of the ingrowns from my last wax. I wouldn't go to anybody else! I was doing regular sugaring treatments until ~6 months ago when it just became too difficult to book the woman I wanted my sugaring place. (It's an inconvenient location otherwise.) I decided to try Bianco when I saw the Groupon. First - this is the quickest and least painful Brazilian I have ever had. It was less painful than the "maintenance" services I would get after just 5 weeks of hair growth. I couldn't believe it. For me, it's 1) sanitation 2) pain and everything else is blah, blah, blah...but for the blah, blah, blah part: Linda is very friendly. She asks questions and waxes conservatively until you get what you want. She also cleans up and strays. She'll also pull ingrown hairs if you want. In addition to the solution you're given to wipe off excess wax, there is a row of very visible products I'm sure you can ask for if you prefer. (Check them out as you get undressed.) The location is convenient in Downtown Renton with free street parking. I see other people are unhappy with the space but I guess I don't care. (Did I mention lack of pain? Pretty but painful is NOT might idea of a good compromise.) It seemed perfectly clean, if not bright and shiny (Also, a place can be all white and pink and bright and smell of lavender and still unsanitary.) I never saw her double dip a stick. Good stylists, but overall unprofessional managment and staff. The staff does not seem happy to be working there. For example, I have seen employees get pulled off the floor to have obviously negative conversations in the back room that should have happened after hours, I also witnessed the manager bicker with other family members in front of customers. It made me feel uncomfortable being a customer there. So,even though I feel the stylist do a great job, the experience is not worth coming back for. Not everyone likes drama. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian wax after I saw this salon had decent reviews. Setting up an appointment with Heather was really easy, and the salon staff were nice and friendly! I've been getting waxes every five weeks for the past six months, so they're not new to me; however this was my most painful one, which could be for many reasons (this time I waited seven weeks in between waxes, so longer hairs hurt more.) Heather used both soft and hard wax. I've only ever done hard wax in the past, and I think Heather's technique with the hard wax needed practice because she seemed to struggle to take all the wax off in one pull, making it more painful. But either way, she was quick, efficient, and did a really good job. HOWEVER, this is why I gave two stars: When the wax was done she gave me a paper towel with some aloe on it to rub over the waxed area, but this proved to be rather difficult because a part of my skin had been ripped off with the wax and wouldn't stop bleeding! The paper towel was soaked in blood, after a couple minutes of me applying pressure to the wound it was still gushing blood! I didn't want my clothes to get blood on them, so I had to awkwardly stick my head out the door, still butt-naked, and yell for Heather so she could get me a band-aid. (I'm laughing now, but it was really embarrassing at the time.) I went home, with wax getting caught on my underwear because she didn't take it all off, and several hours later I went to take off the band-aid, and it was still bleeding! I've never experienced anything like this, and it's day two and I still have no choice but to keep a band-aid on there because it's right where the elastic of my underwear sits so it's really painful on the wound, which still keeps bleeding. I went in last week for a Brazilian wax, it was a Groupon deal so I thought I would check out a new salon. I feel like they deserve that one star only because when I arrived a 1/2 hour early they worked me into their schedule and brought me back almost immediately. Heather, my esthetician, seemed relaxed and friendly. Before I laid down on the bed I noted that it looked like the sheet had not been washed. There were several oily stains and the towel she had me covered up with was pretty tattered. When I was waiting for her to return I examined the room... most of the shelves were dusty, the garbage can was full with garbage spilling onto the floor, and I felt like the room was cluttered. The wax was almost too hot, I couldn't relax. And I could feel the wax creeping in the wrong places. I felt like she really wasn't paying attention, it was more painful than my first waxing experience. A couple strips felt wrongly painful. When she said she was finished I glanced down and noticed she had missed two decent sized patches of hair around the top. I had to ask her if she could take care of them! When she was done she set down a wad of paper towels with some sort of cleaner on it for me to take care of the waxy mess (really??) and excused herself. By the time I got home I felt stinging/discomfort that I had not experienced before with my several other Brazilians. I had bruising in spots, redness (which is expected), and was a sticky mess. And she had left so much hair! I couldn't believe it It felt violating- I trusted her with my most sensitive area and she left me a sticky, hairy mess! I waited two days and decided to give the salon a call... I told the receptionist about my experience, she seemed unsure or confused of what to do and asked me if I wanted to speak to the esthetician, Heather, who had done my wax. I told her I was embarrassed and didn't feel comfortable to but to let her know that I had called. Although the receptionist apologized I felt like she offered me no other option/solution. I understand that I came in on a Groupon deal but I felt rushed, and that Heather was either uncomfortable with performing the wax or that she just didn't care. I will not return and definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

I read all the reviews on Yelp before I first came to the decision to get my brazillian wax here. I normally read all the bad reviews, they seem to be the most true and you get a taste for what the place may be like. However, I booked my appointments with Heather and she is the only person who I will ever allow to wax me. She talks to me the whole time, very conversational, and remembers our previous converstation (even from months ago!). She is very quick and it makes it very painless. Heather makes the process quick and easy. Who wants to be in pain long? Some reviews said she is rushed, quite the opposite. I feel like she doesn't want you to be in pain and then talks to distract you. She is the best there. read more

**Update** The store owner posted that my using a non-professional product on my hair over the summer somehow impacted her employee's ability to touch up my roots in January. While I can appreciate her advice to use professional products (which I do) on my hair, do you really want to visit a salon where the staff is inept and the management blames you for the outcome? If I could do the treatment at home, I wouldn't pay people for their knowledge about how to handle my hair. If anyone is having doubts about what I've said, I'm happy to forward you the email string between me and the manager. I've also filed a complaint with the state professional licensing board. This cute salon and spa is awesome. Amy is a miracle worker when it comes to color (and pretty much everything else). She can do natural colors and fashion colors - I have blonde hair with purple underneath. It's hard to find someone I can fully trust with my hair, I let Amy take full control and I have always been pleased. She's fixed my hair when I got a botched bleach and tone from someone else (different salon), it took two visits to fix - it was that bad - with the end result being perfect for me. For that price, its almost the same than going to an asian-run nail place to get waxed, for better quality service using better quality products. I went to this salon twice. Amanda did an excellent job with my cut and color. However, this salon has an awkward location where parking is often difficult to find and you can circle round and round the one-way streets. In addition, they advertise (in-salon) for add-on services such as facials, but nobody is available to actually add the service on; you have to book another appointment to actually get that add-on. My third appointment I got so stressed out trying to find a parking place I gave up and cancelled my appointment. If they are going to charge top dollar for the area, they should have parking. And if they are going to offer add-ons they should have staff available to actually provide the service they are advertising. read more

The people here are so welcoming and warm and my haircut started out great. I left wanting my back layers blended more but it wasn't that big a deal and I appreciated her trying to correct it and her sweet coworker and how they work together. I never leave bad reviews but just want to suggest to not have sarah thin out your hair unless you know what to expect. I've had my hair thinned and never had anything like this. To be fair she asked me if I wanted it in the front and I said yes. She said sometimes it bothers people to have little baby hairs when they put up their pony tail because you get little spots of breakage. I was expecting a few fly aways not a set of bangs around my head. I asked for no layers to be above my chin and have never ever had someone thin the hair above mid way. I parted my hair to the side (I told her I switch between middle part and side part) and I just have bangs on the side of my head. It had to be held so it didn't flip or move and dump the client on the floor. This was a different technician. The floor- ick. It needed to be cleaned. There were dust bunnies under the chairs. I purchased a groupon for their Brazilian wax service. Heather took care of all three of my waxing needs. She is good at her profession and is a good chat to keep your mind off the pain. On my second visit October 2014 I told her I recently undergone abdominal surgery and to mind my wounds. She stepped back and explained another client of hers had similar surgery and strongly recommends I wait two months. her client was in excruciating pain during the waxing process and cried. Heather said she can go ahead with the wax but prefers I don't suffer through unnecessary pain. I truly appreciate her honesty for my well-being. We decided to hold off as the best option for my specific scenario. I went back one month later for the second one and it was painless except for the waxing part! there is a parking lot next to their salon but sign on the wall states "no salon parking" and street parking is the best option. I use to LOVE coming to Bianco's! Now their appointment availability SUCKS!!! My mom can get it anytime she wants but I cannot!! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO Bianco's unless Denise hires more trained professionals with a more open availability. So I came in last night in DYING need of a haircut! My stylist was Sarah. She was super nice and fun to talk with and knew what she was doing. Anyways, I have a normal hair stylist up north, so going to a new place so last minute I wasn't sure what to expect. It was very scary for me. I came in with a Groupon tht included a cut, blow dry and style. My appointment lasted about an hour and 20 mins which cut into their closing time. I'm happy with my hair cut but disappointed that I never got a style and just a blow dry. I assumed she would've asked how I wanted to get my hair styled, but I was never asked and instead just got a wash, cut and blow dry. Would I come here again? Sure. I hadn't ever had a brazillian wax before. I got a good deal for here on groupon and went the day before my wedding. I was alittle nervous that I'd be in pain on my wedding night, but Denise was so great and assured me that with my waxing-experience that it'd be fine. She made it as comfortable as possible. Obviously it's naturally awkward to have your lady bits exposed to a stranger, but Denise talked with me in a way that kept me from feeling uncomfortable. I came to this Salon through Groupon, and though it was a great deal for a Brazillian ($26) I really got what I paid for! The room I got waxed in was not impressive, the walls had stuff splattered on them (wax?) and the whole room just felt dirty. I was nervous and should have followed my gut, and went running in the other direction. The waxing itself was painful, which is to be expected, but the woman who waxed me (Linda) kept saying "it doesn't hurt, I go so fast, it doesn't hurt!" Well, I'm sorry, it does hurt, no matter what, so telling me it doesn't hurt just pissed me off. Then she proceeded to blame me for waiting to long too get waxed since my last one, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I don't think anyone in the beauty industry should shame their clients/customers. It just makes me not want to come back, thank you very much! And finally, when it was all over as I sat up I noticed there was wax on my leg, yuck! Then I got home and noticed there was wax on the back of my shirt, which then got on the seat of my car! And there was still wax "down there," disgusting! I have called the Salon to ask if they knew how to get the wax of my shirt and car seat. The first person said someone would call me back. The person who called me back said to put baby oil on my shirt to get the wax out. When I asked "won't that stain the shirt further?" she said she didn't know. And she had no clue what to do about my car. She said she would have another person call me back.That was yesterday. No call back yet. Needless to say I will never return to Bianco & Co. I bought the $99 for 3 Brazilian waxes Groupon deal. The first time I came in was completely awful. I can't remember the girl's name that did the wax, but it hurt really badly and she did not take her time at all. Needless to say, I had lots of leftover hairs and what did come out with the wax grew back a week later! I still had 2 more left on my Groupon, so I asked for someone else the second time. I got Denise (the owner) and explained what happened last time. She apologized and did a much better job. She's a good conversationalist and way better than the other girl, but they're still not the best waxes I've had. The waxing room is also kind of icky and almost sketchy feeling.
