Let's begin this review by saying I travel to LA from florida monthly. I normally go to a salon in Beverly Hills for the last 8 years so my standards are high and I get anxious with anyone new cutting or coloring my hair. With everything going on with the pandemic most salons in La are closed and FL wasnt as tight with closures. Me time offered complement hair cuts for all first responders/front line workers (which I am) and I just loved immediately what they did for those on the front lines. So I first came to Me time back in April 2020 for a hair trim by Amanda. She did an amazing job. She is sweet, personable, honest, and damn good at her job. She has well over a decade in hair and it's in her blood haha I believe she said her mom is a hairdresser as well. Today, my second visit I can in for Balayage and a trim. She seriously executed the color perfectly. The color is so well blended it look so natural. I wish I had taken pictures to post with this review but I know they took pictures and may be on their site. Her skill set is at or beyond a Beverly Hills LA salon, for real. I couldn't be more happy with my hair. Thank you Amanda. You are awesome and are skilled! I feel like I need to come weekly seriously just to hang with you and all the girls in such an effortless environment. The salon is clean. Has a very cool set up. The salon chairs sit around what looks like a bar set up. Very chic/LA/NY modern feel and appearance. Also**** you get to sip a mimosa on the house. Can't get any better then that! read more

Recently, my regular salon, of more than 10 yrs, "messed up" my (Keratin) hair. I had to get a touch up and was almost "paralyzed" by the unknown, being from out of state. We're visiting from PA and I needed some hair help. I'm someone who's EXTREMELY PARTICULAR about my hair, whom I'll allow to work on it and usually not care about cost. I read reviews, and also really loved the backstory of MeTime, and chose them. My appointment was with AMANDA, and for someone so young, she is amazingly knowledgeable and talented! She worked her butt off to make my hair look good...and I was THRILLED! My Keratin from home didn't take, and with her knowledge and MAGIC, my hair was smooth, straight, (like a Keratin treatment) and looked AMAZING! The receptionIst, whose name I've sadly forgotten, was just so, so helpful and accommodating, too! She offered to help me get hair care on our next stop, hours from here. I went to Me time Salon yesterday and had my hair done by Ashley H. I always let way too much time pass between appointments forcing me to pretty much get a complete make over every time. I'm super indecisive and really have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to want i want, I just have a vision in my head. Ashley H was able to completely transform my hair into the EXACT vision I had, from the color to the cut, she completely nailed it. I love MeTime Salon! I've been there many times and have had different stylists and they've all been great. This last time I had Kay and she did an amazing job. I went to Me Time for the first time two weeks ago and will never go back after my experience. I asked my stylist for a full head of highlights - to make them extremely fine and very very close together and to my root - ALOOOOT of them and to lift it to a baby blonde. I even showed the stylist a photo of my super blonde hair color too. It didn't come out looking like anything we had discussed. I paid $280 for a service I didn't ask for and my hair is yellow now and it does not look like a full head of baby lights at all. I called and spoke with the manager to try to remedy the situation and all they offered me was a complimentary toner and didn't agree to fix it free of charge. At my old salons in NY/CT they would have refoiled and corrected it since I already paid for the service and didn't receive what I asked for. For a small and local business, I'm shocked that they would treat a new customer this way and will definitely be spreading the word around now so this doesn't happen to other locals. I recently moved to Florida and searched for a really good salon and stylist. I Found a place in West palm beach and it was a disaster. My hair was no longer blonde but half brown with a green tint. I researched and looked through reviews,comments from customer's and remarks back from salon owners plus pictures. I came across this salon and decided to make an appt but I was leaving In a week to Maine. I asked for Amanda because of her profile and expertise in color. They were booked but got me in any way that day with her. Everyone was warm and inviting and I loved the daycare for moms. Below are my wife's thoughts after an very impersonal experience. I chose to try this salon because of the numerous 5 star reviews, especially those referencing the covid-19 protocols and professionalism. However, I was disappointed my experience didn't live up to expectations. I booked my appointment with Amanda because of the previous positive reviews. I wasn't seen for 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I did arrive a few minutes late, and was told Amanda would be with me soon, but I still waited 20-25 minutes. When I was eventually seen, a different stylist said they would be taking care of me, not Amanda. There was no explanation on why the stylist was switched. I know Amanda was there because when I walked in she was finishing up with another woman. During my appointment employees and customers frequently were not wearing masks and not socially distancing. No one wiped down commonly used surfaces (chairs, the iPad for payment/checkout, countertops, etc) while I was there. I understand times are difficult right now and businesses are doing the best they can, but as a customer I would have felt much safer seeing some protocols in action - especially adhering to the mask mandate. When my stylist was finished they never showed me what my hair looked like in the mirror, or asked my thoughts. They just said I was done. I've never had that happen. Their prices are reasonable, and the stylist did an ok job. I like to feel confident and excited after my hair appointments, and I didn't get that this time. My Summary: maybe this place is great if you know the owner/workers already, but if you are looking for a new hair salon, keep looking for a place that will treat you as if they value you and your business. read more
