I originally brought it to uBreakiFix, but they declined to try to help and just suggested I go get a new phone. I brought my phone into PC Warehouse in hopes that they would be able to dry it out and try to save my phone. Justin was very kind and helpful! He set expectations that my phone may not recover but that he would try to dry out the components and inspect the damage anyways despite being very busy and a lot of customers coming in. He was able to dry out my phone and luckily it's working pretty great so far! I really appreciate that he made the effort and took the time to try to help me rather than suggesting I just go get another phone. He did go above and beyond and offered to make alternate accommodations should my problem still pose issues.

After 3 weeks and the return not getting to its destination, I decided to come by in person to see if they could help me find out what was going on with my package. The same worker happened to be at the counter that day, and I explained to him my issue with the return shipment. He immediately became defensive and hostile. A second female worker overheard this, came over and began aggressively trying to shoo me out of the business, claiming they were not the official post office and that they could not help. I'd just like to say that I am well aware that they are not the post office. In fact, they are an unnecessary middle man whose only justification for being in business would be it's convenience and customer service, both of which are completely lacking if the package never gets to its destination and you get a bunch of attitude when you try to find out why it didn't. I am very much pro small business, but experiences like this make you question which ones are staying afloat simply because of the kindness of the community supporting it, and not on its own merit.

Given the circumstances, I asked for her manager's name and phone number, to which she replied that the "manager wouldn't give a shit either." As promised, yesterday I called the manager, Christine, who appeared to be sincerely sorry for what had occurred and promised to speak to Jamie about her actions. So, Christine's apology is what has caused this review to get 2 stars or else I would've given it 1 star. As I told Christine, I will never come into that post office ever again. And I hope no one else does until Jamie is removed as she is not capable of performing her role.

Unfortunately, this appears to have become standard practice rather than the exception. Attempting to impose restocking fees just one week after delivering a failed appliance, particularly when the defect has been confirmed by your installer, is not only unreasonable but raises serious ethical concerns. This is not how professional businesses operate. Stamford customers deserve to be treated with respect, fairness, and accountability. If your organization is unable or unwilling to provide that standard of service, perhaps it is time to make room for a company that values its customers and the Stamford community.
