Do NOT buy a phone here! They will find any reason not to refund u even with a valid reason! I got my 85 yr old grandfather a phone here and was told i could return the phone within 14 if it didn't work out for him. My grandpa just couldn't learn to use the phone so I went to return the phone 12 days later but they wouldn't give me a refund! First the lady at the desk tells me it's because we changed the number which makes NO sense because we changed the number the same day we got the phone and was told we couldn't return the phone then the lady says it's because the phone isn't active! We had to reactivate my grandpa's old phone in case of an emergency in case he falls or has a medical emergency so because we didn't keep the phone active we don't get the refund so what happens when u return a phone!? It is then deactivated! I'm beyond upset!! Very very poor customer service! Shame on them for taking from the elderly! I could see if we weren't in the 14 day period or if our reasoning wasn't legit but that wasn't the case and we had our receipt! Definitely will NEVER be doing business here again! Also I asked for the corporate number because the lady says she was the manager and she gave me the wrong number! Crooked!? Smh read more

I called yesterday and got a quote of $420.00 for the iphone 7 promotion($49) I asked why?? She said i needed to pay activation fee,transfer fee,first month and taxes.Still the math did not add up.I called Pittsburg corporate store and they told me it was only 132.00 that inclueded taxes,activation and first month.This sounded more like the promotion.Be very carefull and drive few more minutes to a corporate store near you and save hundreds of dollars.I dont know why these authorized retail stores aren't regulated by metro pcs.They just let them rip off people. read more

I went into the metro store located in the same parking lot of Food Max. I was buying a new I phone. With the promotion going on. They quoted me over 300.00. I knew this couldn't be right. Their store didn't even have displays of the iPhones said they needed to get out of their home storage. The store was dirty and hot no Ac. I knew that they were trying to get over so I left and went to the other store up the street by Tao San Jin and the same phone with the promotion cost 49.00 not including chip and first months payment so I walked out spending 105.00. I normally do not get real help once a company know that you are not going to buy something. This was not the case when I went to my local MetroPCS store. My phone is kind of old, but so am I. I was not sure if the problem I was having was because of operator error or if I needed a new phone. Stefania was was excellent. She listened to what the problem was and showed me what I was doing wrong and asked a few more questions and we found out what caused it. I keep my phone in my shirt and my skin was turning it off. My phone is old and cases were no longer on the shelf however she knows her inventory enough that she went to the back and brought me out several cases with covers to choose from. After reading the yelp reviews for this Metro PCS location I was very skeptical & concerned about patronizing this business but I needed a work cell phone and this location was close to where I live. When I arrived at Metro PCS I was pleasantly surprised by the young lady named Jackie who was my salesperson. I told her my concerns about the poor reviews I read about this Metro PCS location on yelp. She told me that this location is now under new ownership & new management which was a relief. Jackie was very helpful & pleasant as a salesperson, she gave me a great deal on ZTE Trio smartphone. If anyone reading this review is looking for a good cellphone shopping experience and a good deal on a cellphone. Worst service EVER!!! Everyone that was inside was so unhappy & HOT.. its 100 degree weather outside their thermostat said 90 and they couldnt put it on because of the owners strict rules.. . We waited over an hour for some help and they still couldnt assist us the way we would have liked.. . The deals they were supposed to carry through did not add up right.. . Prices were outragous and the staff had no idea what they were doing saying or selling.. I will never give them service and i suggest you dont either!! read more

The problem is that when asked for an itemized list of what I was being charged for the list was not clear, did not seem accurate or even the same price as quoted by the main stores. Seems like they were choosing fake prices for tax and other fees which were above the actual tax and service fees. I am not sure if they are scamming customers but i dont feel comfortable going to this location due to this. The clerk was nice but I wont purchase at this metro location from now on. read more

SCAMMERS! I went in to purchase a new phone as my old phone was damaged. The clerk tells me the sticker price and says "plus tax". I hand them my credit card. Before the clerk finished the transaction they casually asked if i'd like them to switch my number over to the new phone. I say sure and they do. We'll when i got home i realized they charged me $10 for that without telling me they would charge me for this service! i never would have told them to do it if they said it would cost $10. you can DIY by calling metro in less than 2mins. I just thought the clerk was doing me a favor. read more

Let me say that when I decide to "yelp" about an experience, there's a real reason! Okay folks....here we go! On 8/7/15, I went into this MetroPCS store to ask a technical question. While I was there, I was waited on by a young female. I was also looking at possibly upgrading my phone. While looking at phones, I paid my bill using my phone and got my text message stating "thank you for your payment of $40.00. Once I made up my mind of which phone I wanted, I purchased it. The young female asked if I wanted insurance on the phone. I asked how much it would be and she said $6 extra per month, so I said okay. She told me the amount of $46.00 would be due the following month, which I was okay with. I left the store happy about my purchase. The very next day, 8/8/15, my phone would not let me text or make phone calls. I got a text message stating that my account was suspended for non-payment. I was out and about and decided to drop by the MetroPCS store to see what was going on. I got to the store and the young female that sold me my new phone was there. I told her what was going on and she asked to see my phone and look-up my account. She said that $12.00 was due on my account. I asked "for what?" According to her, she couldn't tell me since I never paid my bill with them at the store, so she said I needed to call Customer Service. She also asked me if I changed my plan or added any new features. I told her the only thing that was added was insurance for $6.00 that you put on the account for me! My phone service had been suspended and she suggested I call Customer Service.... I asked her if I could use their phone to call and she said "due to privacy issues I couldn't per the owner!!" I was like "You HAVE TO BE KIDDING!!??" I left the store telling her that their customer service is NOT Good!! I had to go over to the Kinko's FedEx store to use the computer to get the number, then asked to use their phone to call Customer Service. The representative told me that I was charged $6.00 for insurance for the current billing cycle AND another $6.00 for the UPCOMING September billing cycle! So he removed that one but said I had to pay the $6.00 for the current billing cycle, which I was fine with because I was using my new phone. He wanted to charge me $3.00 to pay the $6.00 over the phone with him! I said "after all MetroPCS has put me through, you want to charge me $3.00?" And he decided to waive the $3.00 fee. Unbelievable!! It was the young female at the MetroPCS store that charged me incorrectly anyway. What an inconvenience and all the while I did not receive an apology! read more

bought a new phone and had the lady install a screen protector and case for me.took phone home and had issues with the phone not turning on and screen turning off while making phone calls making it unable to hang up or check messages.I brought it back to the store and was told all sells final you have to take it to the main store in pittsburg. went there and they said the screen protector was wrong size and blocking the sensor to take it back to lone tree. went back and she agued it was the right one but finally took it off and after phone worked and reluctantly refunded the screen saver price because she didn't have the right one. she could have saved me hours and lost patience by know how to install the screen protector.will go to the pittsburg store for future business read more
