When I calmly asked for the legal department's contact information, a completely reasonable and lawful request, the store rep immediately asked me to leave. Let me be clear: I remained calm throughout the entire interaction, despite having every reason not to. I am a high-paying customer with multiple properties under Cox service, and instead of being helped, I was threatened with removal and even the cops. This is not just unprofessional, it's outrageous. When employees would rather threaten customers than attempt to resolve issues, something is very wrong. That rep should not be in customer service.

The cable box receiver is terrible- it responds slowly, and third party apps load so slowly, I think they restrict bandwidth for Netflix, HBO max, YouTube, etc. I finally got their customer retention department to give us a WiFi receiver for a second room (often available for multiple rooms from other providers), and a comparable rate for internet (compared to Frontier). We wanted to cancel the home phone, and they conned my disabled mom into adding a cell line; they told her that we would pay more if we didn't. Our bill is still over $200 a month for internet, cable, and the unnecessary cell service. If it were up to me, I would drop them.

I wanted two Ubiquiti APs (one on each floor), several Ubiquiti PoE security cameras, and two CAT6 drops into bedrooms which the builder didn't add. Starlight Tech was able to take care of all of this and the best part was minimal holes in the drywall. There were some small holes that Mike told me about ahead of time, but they were small enough to be covered by standard wall plates. On the day of the install, Starlight Tech was here on time, worked together to make sure everything was done in a clean and neat manner, and made sure everything was fully up and running before leaving. They even came back on a second occasion because I was still waiting to order a final security camera. They helped me install an entire Ubiquiti ecosystem, which included 5 POE Cameras, 1 POE Doorbell, 2 POE Doorbell Chimes, and 4 POE Access Points. It doesn't end there. They even helped me relocate my ethernet ports and power outlets to more convenient locations that are more hidden so I don't end up with dangling wires. It still doesn't end there. They completely rack-mounted everything and made everything beautiful. The Ubiquiti ecosystem is more expensive, but I didn't mind the investment, especially with two industry experts leading the way.
