I really enjoyed my breakfast here. The service was fast enough and kept my coffee cup full. We sat at the bar. It was really busy for breakfast time. I ordered the avocado toast with no tomatoes with a side of eggs and home fries extra crispy. Everything was well seasoned and reasonably priced. Overall I'd recommend this restaurant and gladly come back.

Metro Diner is a win win any time you go. Breakfast is amazing and delicious. I wanted to try it all and for $21 I had coffee, the bissell breakfast which is your choice of meat(I had Turkey sausage links), two eggs cooked to order, hashbrowns or grits (I got the hashbrowns) toast, and pancakes (I added banana to the pancakes), plus a side of the cheesiest grits. It was SO much food I brought home half. The banana pancakes are absolutely best in the area, the bananas are sliced and cooked in the pancake so it almost is caramelized and perfect. The Turkey sausage had a great flavor to it and the hashbrowns were delicious. Hands down it was some amazing coffee as well. Service was great, I got there when they opened and my waitress was very attentive and refilled my coffee multiple times without asking. She was great and provided friendly service and they were getting busy. Atmosphere is great typical diner feel but homey. The breakfast is delicious, service is great. I will definitely go back and try different things, maybe, the bissell breakfast might be my favorite, lots of options.

Great little place with a verity of items to eat. They have bar seating, booths and tables. Recommend coming early because it is popular We got The meat lovers scramble--definitely heavy but good and not greasy The waffle one of the best I have had for a long time The bissell great meal but large. The gritz are great, the hash browns are also a great option. We went with bacon and scrambled eggs Looking forward to visiting again

The food here was okay. We got the pancakes and they were okay for me. Very thick and filling. The hot chicken biscuit was really good. The chicken was fried perfectly and very flavorful, but biscuit was cold. I would come back and taste their chicken but not any time soon. The ambience is very homey. And the service was great. Waitress took our photo and I appreciate that

Something came up making Friday a bad choice, so I made another reservation for Saturday and cancelled the on for Friday. Once again I got a text message for both the Friday cancellation and Saturday booking. The automated replies made it convenient. We arrived a few minutes before or reservation and were seated right away. They were quick to respect my request for a nearby booth, as I have a disability walking. We ordered the steak appetizer roles that were outstanding! My wife ordered a Caesar salad that was huge, along with the filet with a baked potato. When I looked at the menu days prior, I was eyeing the shrimp and grits, but after seeing nearby tables entrees, I quickly ordered the ribeye. Our server, Jesstina was off the wall spectacular! Our appetizer came out quick, and our main course came out soon after we were done enjoying our appetizers. She made sure our every need was taken care of, and her attitude was as if we were her long time friends. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary of 23 years, and the dining experience was perfect! Spectacular service, an outstanding food selection and a 10 out of 10! This was our first time at this Stoney River, but it won't be the last! And you can rest assured, we'll make sure Jesstina will be our requested server!

It is a great spot for a date night or a special evening out. We started with the crab cake. It was definitely good, flavorful, and nicely prepared, but at 18 dollars for a single crab cake, it felt a little steep. The standout of the night was the Wild Mushroom Meatloaf. It was hearty, well seasoned, and something I would absolutely reorder. We paired it with asparagus and Parmesan fries. The asparagus was fresh and succulently seasoned, cooked just right. The Parmesan fries were crispy and flavorful and made a great complement to the meal. I ordered the London Dip, which had good flavor overall, especially paired with the roasted wild mushrooms. That combination worked well together. However, for the price point, I think next time I might try something else on the menu. It was good, just not quite as memorable as the meatloaf. We also tried the smoked gouda mac and cheese, which was rich and tasty and definitely a solid side option. Overall, Stoney River offers good quality dishes with strong flavors in a classy setting that makes it perfect for date night. A few items feel priced on the higher side, but I would return, especially for that meatloaf.

Decided to give Field Day another shot. It was still disappointing, maybe not quite as much as last…read moretime, but still not worthy of anything higher than 3 stars. We were greeted promptly but didn't see our server again - I'm sure she thought that we were going to order from the QR code which was a very reasonable assumption, except the QR code didn't work - only part of the menu was available We finally tracked her down and placed our order. While we waited (and waited) for our food, my husband poured his beer from the wall while I waited (and waited) for my soda. I finally went to the bar to get my own drink. Coke Zero is kept in the back so the bartender had to leave the bar and walk to the kitchen to get my drink. Asking for a refill was wasting breath - I asked for one but never received it. We waited (and waited) for our food. A server tried to give us someone else's chicken tenders but gave up after the second try. We were able to track down our server to check on our food. About 5 minutes later, we finally received our apps - mac & cheese bites (husband liked, I didn't) and fried pickles (I kind of liked, husband did not). I usually really like fried pickles but these were undercooked and not hot. Even if I had wanted them redone, our server was once again AWOL. Our sandwiches came right after we received our apps. I failed to read my previous review. I reordered the Turkey Gouda which I didn't like first time around. This time it was toasted perfectly. The problem? It was literally dripping with the cranberry aioli. This spread was only aioli in name. There was absolutely no creaminess, it was just jelly. Way way way too much jelly. I tried to scrape it off but since it was on both sides of the sandwich, removal was nearly impossible. This sandwich is definitely on my "never order again" list. (But then, I don't plan on coming back). I ordered onion rings as a side. I was served a couple of onion rings that were good but the rest of the onion rings were not rings, they were clumps of rings welded together. I did send these back. The replacements were so undercooked that the onions were nearly raw. My husband ordered the Burger. He did enjoy his burger but agreed that the poor service and overall quality that two visits were two too many.

I wouldn't have made this post simply because the food took a long time. But the grilled chicken Caesar salad was not edible. The chicken tasted dry; comparable to cardboard. The drenched the salad with the dressing. Maybe the lid came off as they were pouring the dressing. How do you mess up a salad? Word of advice, if you plan on ordering salad, ask for the dressing on the side. All the activities they have are also overpriced. When did mini putt putt become so expensive? $25 for 18 holes.

Every dish has been impressive. The wings are some of the best I've ever had: meaty, perfectly cooked, and coated in a great sauce. The redfish was fantastic as well -- cooked just right, with broccoli and rice that were surprisingly delicious for simple sides. And then there's the burger. WOW. I had the double bacon burger: two 1/4‑lb smashed patties and several thick strips of bacon. I added lettuce and tomato, and it was a serious meal -- in the best way. I swapped the fries for onion rings, and those deserve their own shout‑out. Thin‑sliced onions, lightly breaded, and absolutely addictive. I also have to mention Vay, our server. She was wonderful -- friendly, funny, and full of personality. I highly recommend asking for her when you visit.

This restaurant is a sports bar with Cajun type of food place. There is a nice size full bar and lots of TVs. I imagine this place is rocking during Alabama and Auburn football games. I ordered a grilled chicken avocado sandwich. It came with waffle fries. My chicken was perfectly cooked and quite juicy. The addition of raw onion delivered excellent flavors to the wheat bun and chicken sandwich. 5/5 I was going to order a side salad and opted for a Cypress Cobb Salad with ranch dressing. It was loaded with grilled chicken, bacon, red onion, tomatoes, eggs, and lettuce, This salad was delicious! 5/5 Dave ordered Fried Catfish Orleans, deconstructed. He asked for the fried catfish, the fried shrimp, and the crawfish étouffée to be served separately rather than everything piled on top of each other. He said the catfish was very good, the shrimp was very good and he enjoyed the crawfish étouffée, but said it was on the spicy side. I am glad I asked him to get the dish deconstructed. This way he was able to enjoy the catfish and shrimp and not worry about the étouffée being too spicy. He loved his meal. 5/5 I asked for a cup of red beans and rice to go. The red beans were on the spicy side. They were very tasty but definitely had some kick. 5/5 If you like sporting events and going to a sports bar versus sitting at home, please stop by Walk On's. They have great foods and my waitress, Alexis, is more than capable of loading everyone up! We will return. 5/5
