I was luckily able to make it to the shoulder with no injuries or damage to my car. I got out through the passenger seat, and I looked over at my tire which was completely in pieces....I was ready to cry with no idea what to do. I was about to make a call when Henry H. pulled up behind my vehicle to save the day! He gave me his card information and explained to me that metro was available to help in the case that I ever got into a similar situation. Henry helped me put on my spare tire and made sure everything was okay before I even got back into my car. Today, my tire blew out on the freeway, and honestly, I had no idea what to do. Thankfully, I was able to make it safely onto the shoulder. I immediately called my roadside assistance provider and had only been on the phone for about three minutes when Sandra pulled up behind me. At first, I was a little nervous because I didn't know who she was. She came to my passenger window and introduced herself. What a wonderful service!!! Huge props to Mario G. In Truck 11C - I was driving through the region on my way to a tournament for my tween when my 6-month old EV started giving me issues evidently related to the cooling system. I was about 5h into our trip and stuck in stop and go traffic, totally perplexed, but decided to pull off at the next exit. I managed to get off the freeway but my car froze at the first stoplight coming off the off-ramp. While waiting for my roadside to get someone out to me in the melting 95 degrees, Mario pulled up and helped us safely get moving enough to land at a parking lot rather than having to wait in the line of traffic.
