I have been going to Metro since 2005 when diagnosed with breast cancer. They are considerate and caring.

This location is centrally located, with plenty of parking, even though the parking lot is small, it's attached to various businesses in a strip small also surrounded by corporate buildings. The staff is friendly and helpful, easy to schedule appointments and obtain times and dates tat work best for you. They definitely work with you if you have balance due after insurance pays or even you do not have insurance. They are always willing to offer a payment plan that works best for you. The office is quiet, neat and clean. One of the best parts is that you leave knowing your results without having to worry. Check-in in easy and hassle free, you ae able to pre-check-in on your phone or in-office using one of their tablets. I have not experienced long wait times, I'm seen within 10 minutes or less after checking in, in and out with ease. read more

Have been coming to this facility for years. They are now open only one Saturday a month, but that usually works! Love that I don't have to take off work for routine screening. They also offer the 3D imaging for mammograms. The area seems to have been remodeled with nice flooring and some taller seats available in the waiting area! The X-ray techs have always been top notch, kind and accommodating. Happy to have this facility close by and will continue to use their services! read more

The parking to this place is part of a larger strip mall area but they do have their own side for parking. Getting into the building and finding it is extremely easy. The staff inside are friendly and they get you checked in relatively fast. I only had to wait a few minutes before I was taken back and explained what to do for the image. I'm baffled about some of the complaining reviews. Unfortunately I've been here twice in only a few weeks but both times, they've been efficient, kind and seemingly thorough. Their walk-in policy to wait in line may not be appealing to some but they give you fair warning about the policy, so a little planning removes a lot of potential inconvenience. The cost saved by not paying the middle man of an affiliate hospital is HUGE and I only wish I knew this fact many years ago. read more

Had a scheduled appointment and arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Waited 40 minutes after that to get in. Apparently appointments mean nothing to them cause walk ins got in before me. Another patient finally asked if theirs a better time to come in and they mentioned before 11am is best The Tech who did my procedure was friendly and seemed to be very thorough. I could have waited for results or send them to my doc. Was directed to see myself out. Only criticism beyond the fact that a scheduled appointment apparently means nothing was that I'd love for the tech to talk me through the procedure as apposed to just giving instructions read more

Hours say 7-7 and they actually don't have any techs. Maybe they should be more specific. I went from one metro imaging place to another. They don't take appointments, for X-rays. Pretty useless! read more

I went in for my 2 year post cancer scan to make sure it didn't some back. Good news is it didn't bad news is metro imaging messed up my scan and added that I have a cist on my ovary (I am a man but not a modern man that can have babies). So there I am thinking I am free and clear but then not sure if these are were my test results. Pay the $$ and go where the experts are these people don't know what the are doing. I received a quote both online and over the phone for 2 imaging procedures. I even gave the girl the number on my doctor order to check costs since I was a cash pay client. When I went in, there was the possibility that I wouldn't need both of the procedures, but they wouldn't know until the first was complete. Because of this, the intake person didn't want to charge me before the procedure (which apparently is standard) because she said she didn't want to worry about doing a refund in the case I didn't need image 2 done. She wanted me to pay after. Sounds legit. Makes sense, right? Only charge me for what I actually had done. Turns out I did need both procedures. No biggie, that's what I was quoted for. She rang up what I had done, I paid WITHOUT INSURANCE and left. 2 weeks later and I get a bill for $120. $120 over what I was quoted TWO times. I have no clue what it's for. SO absolutely don't believe what they quote you. wasn't I charged this at the end when I paid for everything else. Oh...I also received a letter from Metro after my imaging procedure stating something that was never even mentioned to me at the appointment. Isn't that what I paid for? To have the image read and have the place tell me what's up? Very frustrating and a bit alarming. There's a place across the street called Breland Imaging, on New Ballas. Check it out. I had an ultrasound done there and they were around $100 cheaper than Metro. They only take cash, but definitely look into it. Metro Imaging - West County - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Creve Coeur, Missouri

So my Dr. suggested I get x-rays for a possible broken wrist. I had checked prices earlier in the day and found that the Urgent Care Clinic would charge $100. The Dr. said the Hospital would be more expensive than Metro and I should check with them. I called and was quoted about $67 for a wrist/hand x-ray. They said I could just walk in which I did and after about a 10 minute wait I had the x-rays and after about another 10 minutes I got the results. The people there were very nice and helpful. read more

The location is fine but the policy of getting to an appointment 30 minutes in advance is ludicrous! They always run late so you just sit forever. Take plenty to do. Hey Metro Imaging corporate... change your policy!!! read more

Went there for a mammogram. Got there 20 mins early filled out all the paperwork. Got called back only to be told I couldn't get it done because I felt a lump and needed an ultrasound. They stopped ultrasounds at 2pm and it was 2:15pm. So now after waiting 4 weeks to get checked out I now have to wait another 2 weeks to get a screening from another place. Thanks for making me worry some more. read more

Every visit requires 4 pages of forms to be filled out by HAND. No iPad, no advance filling out on the Internet to save time. They'll swipe a credit card too because they don't trust you or your insurance company. Then be prepared to wait, because like most of the medical industry, they feel it's appropriate to stack 'em in and line 'em up... just in case there are no shows so they can keep the MRI money machine running. Try to get an appointment when they open to avoid this. Otherwise you will be painfully reminded how much more valuable they feel their time is than yours. Once you do get ushered back into the halls of magic, you will be treated with kindness and respect. If you treat the technician well enough, she might share her first thoughts of your results with you, but not likely. That will have to wait until your doctor calls you. And that's a good thing, because the last situation you want to be in is sitting in the parking lot sobbing over what you think is cancer but really is not. read more

Friendly, fast service! They didn't hassle me at all about not having my insurance card, they just took my number and ran with it. Our Dr recommended them, saying that Drs and patients love them...now I understand why. I love that they can take an X-ray and read it on site. I have never experienced that before but it was a nice change to the bite-your-nails-until-the-doctor-calls-you plan that I have fallen into in the past. read more

DON'T GO IF YOU HAVE MISSOURI MEDICAID or MEDICARE ... they will bill improperly then blame you ..... Improper billing , refusal to bill correct insurance , noncompliance with Medicaid guidelines !!! Non compliance with Medicaid's guidelines for billing to patients in missouri !! read more

Definitely ask the price for whatever you get done here before going in and then add 150$ to whatever they quote you and that's what you'll end up paying. Unreasonable and underhanded read more

Horrible patient care and rude front staff. Ultimately I waited an hour without my shirt on and they asked me to reachedule because they didn't have time They were unapologetic. They have no business working with people with potentially terminal and Life threatening illness with this type of patient care. read more

I went without an appointment - only because I needed to get in asap. The "receptionists" (?) barely made eye contact and acted like they were bothered that I interrupted their conversation. After waiting an hour, I was finally called back. Had to remove certain clothing items, and the tech said when I'm done, "come on out." It didn't take me long, and when I came out of dressing room, I had no idea where she went. She was not very friendly, never informed me what she was doing, pushed down on my leg so much that I almost cried from the pain (I was getting back and hip xrays). THEN she asked me where it hurt!! I realize it was toward the end of the day, but when you're in the health profession, a little empathy and friendliness goes a long way! Oh yeah, and they tried to make me opt in to entering my credit card info BEFORE I was seen so that each time I come in, I "won't have to worry about pulling out the credit card again." I declined. First they make you show up 1/2 hour earlier for your appointment, then they do not find the authorization from your doctor and they finally call you 1/2 later than your appointment time!!! Will be going somewhere else next time read more

This is the second time that I have been to this center. Both times it has been quick and easy without any complications. They do their best to get you in and out as fast as possible and they read you the results while you are there which is awesome! read more

Was having breast pain and went for mammogram at Metro Imaging. Was sent home with "healthy" report. Thankfully I had inverted nipple within the next month that caused me to take notice again. Tumor was 8 cm and stage 3 breast cancer. Go to a hospital for mammograms. read more

These are nice people. However, there is little regard for privacy. They loudly discussed a patients medical issues in front of the whole waiting room. At the St. Peter's location my friend didn't want to ask questions because he didn't want everyone in the room knowing his private medical business. There are LAWS regarding medical privacy. Metro Imaging disregards those and doesn't even seem to be aware they are doing it. read more

Awesome! Just got the bill & the price was exactly what I was quoted! The hospital ordered an ultrasound. I was diligent about getting a quote prior to booking. I could only get an explanation as to how the hospital operated & an estimate - around $2000! Frustrated, I called Metro Imaging. BAM - $217! Day of the appointment the lobby was packed but I was assured they were on time. The only thing I didn't like was when my appointment time came & went. My ultrasound required a full bladder & i was IN PAIN. & freaking out since there wasn't a restroom in sight. When I asked the receptionist if it would be much longer & told her I was practically dying she announced loudly that if I had to empty my bladder they couldn't do the test - they needed a full bladder & I'd just have to come back. The lady next to me rolled her eyes. I was slightly miffed that 1) I was spoken to in such an insensitive manor & 2) that the entire lobby was in on my discomfort. I will definitely go back to Metro - probably the one closer to my house though. I can't understand why Metro can give me an exact quote but the doctors office or hospital can't. The medical community should take notes - Metro rocks!! read more

I went here for an MRI in Dec 2015 and was told that I had an A Typical Blood Vessel but the technician stated "Don't worry, it's not an aneurysm". Well he was wrong. I ended up having to have brain surgery for an aneurysm in April 2016. As soon as the Radiologist at Mercy saw the Metro Imaging Scan he knew right away it was an aneurysm so just make sure if you are going for something serious you may want to go to a hospital for test. read more

If you think they care about you, you are wrong. The lady at the front desk that smokes a sexy 2 packs of camels and drinks a 5th a day will make sure you feel special when you walk in the door. Not only was I greeted with an eye roll when I walked in 30 minutes before close but I was treated like a great inconvenience to their time. I got a $66 bill that metro-imaging decided to charge me for despite the fact that I have insurance and I gave them my insurance card. Called my insurance company and they told me metro-imaging never attempted to bill them. Really? This is why they make you give them your credit card number before they will check you in so that they don't have to do their jobs. The poor old fella that walked in behind me asked why he needed to write down his credit card number on a piece of paper and the lady kindly shouted across the office.....
